Characters: Aerobolt, Decepticons Location: Nemesis bridge Content Warnings: Possible mention of past experimentation, minor violence Plot Summary: Aerobolt has escaped Cybertron from Dark Mount, but he gets thrown from the fire and straight into the frying pan.
Strange things happening on the Nemesis wasn't all that common, even among the Decepticons. Perhaps something here and there, someone out of place or two. But today, this was going to be such a day...
Though the space bridge portal opening would have been detected, it didn't stop the bright green vortex from suddenly bursting out of no where. Perhaps anyone with half a processor would expect an unexpected visitor, someone on their side even to be joining in the cause and willing to lend a hand. But instead, someone else was violently thrown from the vortex before it suddenly closed as a soon as it had opened. And the one thrown from it went sliding across the metal floor of the bridge, making an unpleasant screech of metal on metal until he stopped.
Aerobolt was left dazed from the violent collision, having no chance to even get a glimpse of where he was presently, much less who was around. All he knew was he had a aching processor and had landed somewhere involving a metal floor. He let out a soft groan, slowly coming out of that daze and shaking his head, trying to focus his optics once more. 'Where did that portal send me?' Where his first thoughts as he looked around in confusion, taking a little time to full get his wits about him but the moment he did he realized something very...off. Wherever he was was moving, and the room he was currently in had monitors and consoles. A ship perhaps?
Giving his head a final shake, Aerobolt pushed himself to his feet, a little wobbly but nevertheless standing at last. It was only then that he took a good look, turning on the spot to get a better view, and feeling his energon go cold when he saw some Vehicons staring back at him, seemingly confused as he was at first. This couldn't be...
"This...can't be happening." Aerobolt backed up slightly, utterly in disbelief that he was on a Decepticon Warship, if not the Decepticon warship. Which meant, he might be in trouble, even worse than the one he had just escaped.
The voice came from the doorway. If Aerobolt looked up he would see an Insecticon heading his way. The Insecticon, Elytra, had a small build, unlike the hulking brutes that made up the majority of the hive. She practically skipped towards the avian Minicon.
"Don't worry," she assured with a smile, or what passed for one with a mask hiding her face. "I won't hurt you."
If Elytra came close enough to Aerobolt, the insectoid legs on her forearms would shoot out, the scalpels on their tips severing the nerves controlling his wings.
A Vehicon who happened to be watching the space bridge appear realized who came through wasn't a part of the crew. He quickly alerted the commanding officer over said space bridges to confirm whether or not this was intentional. He simply got silence after his report. Now he turns to observe the situation at hand.
Many a Vehicon stepped aside for the CO who marched onwards to the bridge. His studies ruined by an invader! His march came to a halt and he was about to punch in the order to have the door slide open so he can confront who was there.

Advised Course Of Action: Observe Before Conflict
He had purposely written that code into his onboard computers to prevent him from doing anything stupid or profound when the opposition is unknown. So that lead him to letting a tentacle slither to the nearest console to hook into and gain access to a camera. Said camera swiveled about to see Elytra and an unknown Minicon. He detached his tentacle once he fully scanned the room to find nothing else.
Keep calm, he is a Minicon... But watch for antics. He opens the door and his frame stood there at the entry way, peering into the bridge and at Elytra who was already exercising her medical expertise.
Aerobolt's optics focused on Elytra, watching with narrowed optics as she skipped towards him. She sounded...happy. Too happy for his liking. Not hurt him? Sure, like Aerobolt would ever believe any words that fell from a Decepticon's mouth after what they had put him and his fellow Weaponizers through. 'I have to escape.' Aerobolt's thought turned to only one thing and he was going to do whatever it took to get free, even if that meant having to reveal what he could do.
Hopping back another foot or two from the femme Insecticon coming his way, Aerobolt immediately took flight to get out of her reach. For the time being that is. His optics zeroed in on the nearest Vehicon, a burly one in build which could serve well enough as a body shield. Yes, he would have to do because from what he could make out, Elytra was not the only Decepticon he would be dealing with.
Diving towards the Vehicon his form shifted and altered to his shield state, latching onto the Vehicon's arm before he knew what was happening. The drone soldier cried out in shock at the sudden surge, Aerobolt and his temporary host taking on a brilliant blue outline of energy, "Not much of a mind, but all I need is your motor functions." Aerobolt spoke, his bio-light flashing in time with his speech, turning the heavy weaponry the soldier had on hand on his fellows, giving a few warning shots on the nearest Vehicons and forcing this one forward towards Soundwave but also keeping an optic on the all-too happy Insecticon.
"Move aside slender one, before I make you." Aerobolt demanded in a icy calm tone towards the Communications officer.
Elytra pouted, or what would pass for a pout if she had a mouth, as Aerobolt flew away. It wasn't like she was going to hurt him. Much. What he said put her on edge though.
So he controls motor functions, Elytra thought. It would have been much easier if he mind-controlled. She could easily counter that by inviting him to control her, but just motor functions? She would have to be careful.
Elytra moved over towards the possessed Vehicon while Aerobolt was distracted with the Decepticons' communications officer. Was he challenging Soundwave? Did he not know how that usually ends? It didn't matter though. Severing the Vehicon's arm nerves would end the possession, something she was well equipped to handle. She'll connect it back once the Minicon was removed. She waited until the time was right to strike.
A minicon? A sporadic one that had acclaimed itself to a Vehicon as a host. He saw how that vehicon was approaching, wanting to leave.
...
Now he has Elytra who wanted to hurt this unwelcomed guest and said guest is threatening to push him aside if he didn't move. The poor fool. He should surrender now if he knows what is best for him. What ways can Soundwave make this minicon suffer? He had a thought.
A hand lifted towards Elytra in an attempt to tell her to hold her position, no matter how eager she would become. Then his face flickered to a jumbled mess of coordinates and controls and it doubled up. His computers were up to the task.
Designating Warp Bridge Beneath Intruder
Activate
Suddenly a swirling vortex appeared right below the minicon and vehicon host. Both easily fell through right away.
Activating Exit Warp Gate
His onboard computers read before his optics. Yet soon the first warp gate vanished and one above appeared, right over a ledge to really mess up the landing of the vehicon in an effort to disrupt his fine motor skills.
When the victim landed, his hand immediately pointed to Aerobolt, allowing Elytra to pounce the Vehicon on the ground.
Soundwave refused to move, making Aerobolt uneasy. Apparently Soundwave not so impressed by his threats, which meant he might have to forcibly move the silent a slender-con in front of him. That was until he noticed Elytra moving forcing him to turn his attentions towards her instead. But he couldn't fight off the Insecticon and Soundwave, depending on what they did. "Don't make me shoot you insect." Aerobolt spoke, the weapon on the Vehicon beginning to hum to life.
...until he saw that flash of green. It was very brief however before Aerobolt let out a surprised squawk of sorts and his present controlled victim letting out a surprised cry as they were pulled into the vortex. For a brief few seconds, they seemed to fall through nothing but the bright, green swirling energy void before something opened up next and they came crashing down through the vortex on the ceiling.
It took a split second for Aerobolt to command the body to try and land in some coordinated manner, but was met with a much different result. The Vehicon's feet met solid ground, but far closer to the ledge of the bridge, leaving them fumbling and trying to maintain footing. It was only a quick thought from both did the Vehicon manage to turn and fall on his hands and knees when he fell off balance but safe from falling off the ledge. 'This is going to be harder than expected, and this drone won't work for my needs.' Aerobolt thought the moment his temporary host had fallen and the Weaponizer detaching a moment later.
Elytra was about to leap at the possessed Vehicon when saw Soundwave's gesture, and paused. She smiled as a portal opened beneath the Vehicon. Their communications officer's signature move never gets old. The Minicon even let out a surprised squawk!
Elytra leapt at the pair as soon as they landed, crashing into the Vehicon and nearly knocking him over the edge before she saw the shield detached. "Oop! Sorry!" she said, grabbing him by the arm to stop him from sliding off. She reached out her other arm and her insect mode legs shot out like they were on springs, hoping to stab Aerobolt's motor nerves while he was in his alt-mode.
Soundwave stood there observing if his little trap had worked and he had decided that if it was worth while he would queue up another loop. But this time instead of falling straight down he would launch the poor minicon/vehicon from a wall to see if he could catch himself this time around. Instead he had found that the duo had landed on their hands and knees just at the edge of the ledge. Surely he couldn't have his trap be all sorts of foiled.
He gazed at Elytra who lunged with scalpel blades and incisions to remedy a solution to this problem. The answer? Immobilize this flight risk.
To further immobilize this flight risk, two tentacles ejected and slithered out to capture two Vehicons to station them at the doorway as guards while he walked in. Both tentacles shunk'd back in. His visor now reflecting the two as they bore conflict. How did he fight? He took control and forced others to his will. Thus far he had observed a Vehicon under his influence.
Was Elytra a possible host? He couldn't chance it and stepped forward briskly with tentacles jettisoning from his chest cavities to nearly spear Aerobolt. They grabbed onto a wing and leg while he walked closer, ready to charge up his electricity but couldn't because someone was latched on!
Elytra had reacted faster than Aerobolt was hoping. True, she was much smaller than most Insecticons he had laid optics upon, but he had hoped by some chance she wasn't faster than them. And honestly, he had not been expecting her to do that with her insect legs.
The insect legs made contact with one of his wings, causing Aerobolt to hiss under his breathe, the motor nerves for the moment deactivating and leaving his wing feeling like dead weight. Worse than taking control of the mindless drone. "Let go of my wing." Aerobolt demanded in a cold tone, trying to keep himself upright with his free wing, but he was slowly going down with one being limp. Not that he had a chance to retaliate towards Elytra as something else grabbed his opposite wing and one of his feet, causing him to crash to the floor with a loud crash of metal.
Shaking his head, Aerobolt turned a narrowed optic towards the two Decepticons, one of his wings and his tail giving a bluish-white glow, although fainter than the energy he had just used on the Vehicon. He was more than ready to fight if the opportunity presented itself to strike with the few good weapons he had left.
Elytra let go of Aerobolt's wing after hearing his request. It's not like the nerve would reconnect by itself. The Minicon wasn't going anywhere.
The blue glowing outline showed that the bird won't give up anytime soon. A pity. If he did, he wouldn't get hurt as much. Spotting Soundwave's tentacles snaking towards Aerobolt, Elytra backed away. Getting shocked by their communications officer, even if indirectly, was not something she would want to experience.
With tentacles wrapped around his appendages he watched Aerobolt make demands for release. Nonsense, he would be great prey for Laserbeak! He wasn't going to let him fly away any time soon.
Once he took notice of Elytra backing up, an unseen smirk was made as he saw that she was a Decepticon that knew best and followed unsung orders.
Unfortunately for Aerobolt, his use of unseen weapons would be cut short as those tentacles crackled and hissed. A humming sound that just somehow grabs hold of your spine and leans in to hiss softly into your ear was made. Sparks went from base all the way down to the Minicon, grounded and with two tentacles passing a lot of current through will encapitate a mech greater in size than Elytra here. Heres to hope Aerobolt doesn't make a mess on the deck when all the currents run their course.
Aerobolt watched Elytra back away all of a sudden, making the mini-con wonder what she was suddenly so concerned about. Aerobolt’s weapons wouldn’t deal that great of damage to a larger Cybertronian, perhaps leaving a burning gash, but nothing too significant. He would really have to aim carefully to weak spots in a Cybertronian or lay down the speed and agility to do some real damage.
That was when he heard the crackling and hissing that made the Weaponizer’s energon run cold. He snapped his head towards Soundwave, his first instinct telling him to escape. But between the thought reaching his processor and his bod actually moving to react was shorter than how quick those electrical currents struck his systems. And his pain receptors just lit up, the weaponizer letting out a pained cry of agony as his systems were given a shock he had never felt in his life, even when he was being experimented upon.
The electricity coursing through his systems quickly became too much for his smaller frame, collapsing almost immediately with a loud clang. His internal computer flashed with warnings of internal and external damage, some of his internal workings and his surface armor scorched, smoke billowing from some places. ‘This can’t…be…happening…’ was the last thought to run through his processor before Aerobolt finally passed out from the pain coursing through his body.
