He'd opted to sort of look into some of the things he'd learned about on the internet. Which meant finding copies of some of the 'best' games this planet had to offer as well as a selection of some that had just seemed interesting to him. Most of them were faux 'war' games, or games that tested shooting skill and response. Things he could do. The rest were an odd assortment of racing, puzzle games, and one horror slasher that he'd grabbed out of curiosity. Oh, and Guitar Hero. He couldn't resist, and figuring out how to get the guitar proper sized for him would take some time. So for now he'd plopped down and hooked everything up to a monitor screen usually used for maintenance comms and started with the game at the top of his pile; Real Racing 3.
At first it seemed too simple, but as he got into it he started really enjoying the distraction, leaning along with the sharp turns and cheering as he started winning the races. After all, he'd been a racer at first. He heard the crowd he started to draw and was definitely open to someone joining him. Where was the fun and beating a rudimentary computer racer when he could face one of the others and beat them fair and square. And tease them mercilessly for it later.

Things had been surprisingly...dull around the base. It always felt so quiet, slow going, and uneventful here at the Omega-1 base, a far cry from what Moonracer had been use to on Velocitron and during her tenure with the Wreckers. It just felt strange with so little to do other than catching up with old friends, training, and racing when she could in between other duties she had.
Grumbling softly under her breathe, the racer wandered the base, trying to find anything interesting to keep her occupied. That was when she paused for a moment, hearing someone cheering a few halls from where she was, which sounded like it was coming from the rec room. Relieved from the distraction and acting on her curiosity, Moonracer followed the sounds of Sideswipe's excited hollering, arriving to the room and having to push her way through the small crowd until she came to see exactly what had the red warrior so proud.
Peering at the screen, it seemed he was thoroughly enjoying one the humans' Earth games, a racing one no less. Interest peaked, she stood quietly watching for a bit, finding herself following the motion of the vehicle for a little while and slowly was drawn in to wanting to try it herself. Perhaps a two-player match? "You're not half bad at this." She finally spoke up, easily vaulting herself over the seat and flopping herself down near Sideswipe with a wide grin, "How about a few rounds?"

He was so into his game that he didn't notice the femme until she plopped down next to him. Moonracer, awesome. He flashed a grin and handed over the second controller without missing a beat, already setting the game up to accept a second player. "Absolutely. And of course I'm not bad at it, I used to do this professionally you know."
Though it had been a long time since he'd raced more than just pestering Sunstreaker until the other mech chased him or running away when Ratchet threw things at him after a particularly good prank. Or, just recently, evading human enforcer units when he went over their stupid speed limit.
Sideswipe loved the thrill of a race, and competition was always a plus. Give him the open road any day. Especially if he had Sunny with him. That was a perfect setting to the red mech, but he was getting off topic and now he had a bit of competition. "You wanna run a race by yourself to get a feel for the controls?" He didn't mind letting her do that, no sense thrashing her because she hadn't used the system before.

"That makes two of us." Moonracer returned his grin, rather eager to give such a game a try. She was use to actually being involved with racing physically, but never something like this. It would never compare to the real thing of course, but it wouldn't hurt to give something new a try.
Besides, it had been a while since she had mingled with the other Autobots in general and playing a game seemed the perfect opportunity to do so. Though it was one thing to be excited about a game and another to actually play it. After taking the controller, Moonracer took a second or two to get use to it, having never done something like this before. 'Humans are so weird.' She thought to herself, but perked up when Sideswipe suggested getting use to the controls before they dove into any competitive one-on-one game play. "That'd probably be a good idea."
"Just don't try when I kick your aft after!" She said with a playful smirk.
