Player Alias: Thundercat
Character Name: Excellion
Allegiance: Autobots
Appearance Description:
Personality: Excellion is like the majority of the Velocitronian population, especially its younger racers. He is a hot-blooded, highly competitive sort of Cybertronian who is always looking for a good race or challenge. If it involves a race or speed of some kind he jumps at any opportunity to participate, being cocky and overconfident about his capabilities and skills, knowing he is by no means a slouch on the track.
But, this extends far beyond comptetitive, high stakes racing. Excellion is a full of youthful vigor and energy, rarely finding himself being able to be idle or doing nothing for long periods of time. He absolutely hates having nothing to occupy himself with and gets bored extremely easily, leading to his attitude and short temper showing more often than truly necessary. He becomes impatient and snappy, more than willing to turn his wrath on someone or expressing his highly vocal side. In other words, Excellion is prone to being rebellious, defiant, and a handful, better described as an overly ambitious young punk with no filter.
And this is probably one reason why some might question the morality of someone like Excellion. Aside from his young punk attitude, Excellion is prone to being exceptionally violent and cruel. He does not mind throwing himself into an argument or being insubdorinate and can be highly destructive, brash, and irrational. Most times being more than willing to take unnecessary, overly dangerous and controversial risks that most would would consider beyond the scope of rules and regulations, going on his own bunches and sense of what is right and wrong. Although, it is more so his drive for a challenge and lack of patience that often brings this side of him to the forefront and finding a slow, peaceful option as boring and uncomfortable. Because when it comes down to it, Excellion is well aware he seems to thrive more under pressure, chaos, and life-threatening events which has more often than not earned him his scarred frame and rebukes among his teammates to the point of distrust.
However, beneath the surface beats the spark of an Autobot. Excellion cares not for those who prey on the weak and defenseless, being quite overprotective and fierce in his personal battle against those who do. He believes there are alternative ways of handling most situations, but total genocide or domination are not something he accepts. Although the latter he feels should be reserved for something far more creative, such as a high stakes race such as the Speedia. In a strange sense, Excellion cares for the innocent and justice, being deeply loyal to his faction in a highly unusual and violent way but nevertheless does his hardest to do his part. Excellion knows he is a natural born warrior, meant for the hardships of war and combat and despite his rather mixed track record, he can be surprisingly reliable on dangerous, suicidal missions or tough situations when it comes down to it. He does not outright express his love for things that display so much life and energy, part of him finding things different from himself rather fascinating but prefers to express this in a gruff way or subtle gestures such as a faint smile.
Strengths:
Speed/Agility: Typical of most Velocitronians, Excellion is quite swift and agile despite his bulky frame. He is rather light on his feet and has exceptional reflexes, especially in combat. But he is far faster in his vehicle mode, having modified his frame to the point of making use of some of the most up-to-date technology to increase his acceleration possible, but at the high cost of severely overheating his frame.
Durability: Additionally, Excellion’s frame has been modified to withstand high amounts of damage and force, especially in robot mode with using the Collision armor upgrade to his frame. So, despite the appearance of his vehicle mode, Excellion is quite tough and bulky in build, making his somewhat harder to damage.
Combat Adaptability: Though a natural born racer, Excellion is likewise a natural born warrior, feeling the most at home in combat situations. As a result, he has extensively trained in hand-to-hand, martial arts, and weaponry since the civil war that took place on his home world. Since then, Excellion has proven himself capable in both close quarters and ranged combat.
Fearlessness: For lack of better word, Excellion really lacks the sense to be afraid or know when to listen to conscience and logic at times. He has shown to gladly jump into the fray of missions most would consider suicidal or putting his health and well-being at risk. He isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty or take chances, which has more than earned him a few notable scars and bad rep.
Stubbornness: Excellion is equally stubborn as he is fearless. He doesn’t know when to back down or take things easy, usually being argumentative and doing what he pleases despite what others may tell him. Far as he is concerned, life should be lived the way someone wants and add the youthfulness in, he is a loose cannon and extremely hard headed.
Weaknesses:
Recklessness: As common for a youth, especially a racer, Excellion is incredibly reckless. He likes to push the limits of what he can do and what is possible, most especially seen in his racing and combat to the point of putting himself in life threatening situations or capable of causing a permanent debilitating injury.
Combat Preference: Excellion is one of those fighters that likes to toy with and wear down his opponents, weakening them down before going in for a close quarters approach. His style is rather predictable and can leave him vulnerable to stronger and more skilled opponents or he can leave himself open to attack.
Overexertion: What really puts a handicap in Excellion’s actions is his constant push with modifications, need for a challenge, and pushing the boundaries of just about everything. He has more than damaged his internal systems over several years, been medically forced to recover, and has nearly lost his life more times than necessary. Overall, he pushes himself beyond his own limits and faces the potential possibility of early burn out to his spark.
Bulkiness (robot mode): Though agile and swift to some extent, more specifically in vehicle mode, Excellion still has a bulky build in his robot mode. This slows him down compared to majority of Velocitronians and tends to cause him to take the chance of handling heavy artillery and strong opponents. This is further evident with his Collision armor mod which adds additional weight to his frame and forcing him to make additional modifications to make up for this handicap.
Lot to Learn: Excellion is still a young bot with untapped potential. He has grown based on trial-and-error and some advice from those he respects, but not without acting first through his attitude and desires. He has much to experience and could use a fair bit of tempering of his attitude and slowing things down just a little bit or at least a more disciplined environment to get himself in order.
Abilities:
Weaponry:
Wrist Mounted Electro Ion Blasters: Slightly hidden behind his forearm armor, Excellion can deploy three gun barrels from each wrist that functions much like machine guns. These bullets do physical damage while releasing electrical surges through the impact areas, overloading the systems and sometimes causing temporary paralysis.
Hand-held Thermo Rocket Launchers: Stowed away on the sides of his legs, Excellion makes use of hand-held rocket launchers that fire heat-seeking missiles, two in each that can deploy individually or both at the same time.
Battle Axe: Mounted on his back, Excellion can draw an orange colored battle axe just slightly shorter than himself with razor thin red blades and red highlight along the handle. The axe head is dual-sided with a light but durable build, allowing him to swing it with ease and deal damage no matter which way he swings it.
History:
Excellion was forged on Velocitron, part of the batch of sparks with Moonracer when they emerged from the hot spot of the speed obsessed planet. From the very moment he emerged, Excellion had a need for speed and competitive streak that made him impulsive from the very first moment he could take a form. In such a state, he started out in an all natural form, no upgrades, no mods.
Due to having no funds or means to get the upgrades he desired, the mech decided to do whatever it took to get to the top. So, the impulsive speed demon started out like most competing in the lower racing circuits to get a feel for the tracks and what his style would slowly evolve to. On the side, he worked mostly odd jobs to earn some extra shanix and fuel, often working as a bartender or part of the pit crews. Doing so allowed him to meet some of the top racers Velocitron had to offer and get a firsthand look at what sort of mods were out there. Almost immediately, he was drawn towards the mods that vastly increased his speed in vehicle mode, in awe at the types of upgrades available. After sometime, Excellion was able to get his first set of speed boosters, helping to greatly enhance his speed in the circuits.
Eventually, he earned a good enough rep to advance in the racing circuits, earning is name officially for his obsession in finding the latest mods that could increase his acceleration yet for to his rather overly aggressive, almost brute behavior on the track. Excellion was in the highest ranking circuits his home had to offer when tension began to grow more and more across the planet since Incerator was dethroned as the Supreme. Excellion was keenly aware of the differences between the crowned new leaders, Ransack wanted to run the planet one way and Override another, causing even the denizens to begin to fall to one side or the other. But initially, Excellion tried to mind his business until the arrival of the outsiders, the Autobots and had his curiosity peaked enough to attend the meeting.
Unfortunately, the arrival of the Autobots, and later the Decepticons, did little to end the tensions. Instead, Velocitron broke out into an all-out civil war like Cybertron before it and like many, Excellion chose to side with Override and the Autobots much to the surprise of many. It was during this rough, tedious time that Excellion truly flourished, finding himself quite at home on the battlefield and where he decided to upgrade his armor to take more of a beating. During the course of Velocitron’s civil war, Excellion became acquainted with his Suprema and proved himself reliable enough to handle some of the more brutal, suicidal missions others were unwilling to take, the mech sometimes joking he might as be an unofficial Wrecker, a reckless Black Ops team he greatly admired among the Autobots.
Upon the conclusion of the war however, Excellion found himself no longer satisfied with high stakes racing. Though he continued his racing career and even competed in the Speedia a few times, it never fulfilled his deeply ingrained desire for a challenge and to push himself. Instead, he decided to leave his home planet to hunt down Decepticons, handling individuals and small cells here and there while developing a cygarette habit, only agitating his already stressed and screwed up systems from years of dealing with overheated systems and burn out from stress.
Recently however, his adventures have brought him full circle to allies on Earth via a space bridge jump from his destroyed ship.

Character Name: Excellion
Allegiance: Autobots
Appearance Description:
Excellion is an unusual mix of bulkiness and aerodynamics. One of the few Velocitronians whose robot mode has several muscular, bulky areas with sleek and angular areas, Excellion is one of those who favors speed and power, which his form reflects. His optics are a blazing electric blue with a flashy dark red and bright yellow paint job, except in robot mode where he bares some dull gold and orange high lights with black on his forearms, torso, pelvic armor, and feet.
Though another thing that makes him standout to a highly polished, flashy frame is the old war scars that mar his frame, especially one going from his right optic across his face to the left corner of his mouth and the gold Autobot insignia emblazoned on his chest. He transforms into a heavily modified Chrysler ME Four-Twelve sports car.

Abilities:
Electromagnetic Cloak: Excellion is far from being a spy or infiltrator of any kind, but likes to keep his enemy guessing. Therefore, Excellion has been equipped with the ability to create an electromagnetic field around himself, rendering him invisible on detection equipment.
Body Modifications: Like a vast number of Velocitronians, Excellion has had his form modified for both speed and conflict. With a fuel-injected engine and pair of acceleration boosters in conjunction with a pair of "Accelewings", Excellion has made his reputation as a top contender on Velocitron, at the cost of severely overheating his systems many times over, which he uses with the Collision armor upgrade. This form of upgrade makes his armor more reinforced than normal, allowing him to take some punishment more than his regular armor would.
Overshield: Installed throughout his frame, Excellion has small energy generators that allow him to create a body-wide shield that can last up to five minutes coming off six inches from his frame. It can protect from both energy and physical attacks but leaves him unable to use his weaponry without disrupting the field.
