Dylan probably should have been in bed, but that never stopped him.
Honestly things were better now - and that made him happy. Actually, what made him happy was knowing he wouldn’t have to move again. But really, just being in the day to day of the Bots again had him back on his feet. He’d missed the hijinks and shenanigans.
But then again - he also wanted to simply take some time to himself sometimes. Wondering if this could or would last. He knew Ratchet wasn’t permanently taking him... At least not right now, and eventually he would have to figure out where his life would head.
That was ok though - for now he’d just enjoy himself. Least that’s what he thought as he relaxed on the roof, quietly enjoying the stars and the SOTF night air. Could life get any more relaxing for once? “Honestly I wonder if I should be worried about that..” He joked to himself.
“You are nothing?” The pair of orange eyes looking at Dlyan from the other side of the roof asked, she was confused why Dlyan was out here at night, she caught his scent not to long ago and finding it odd he wasn’t asleep investigated, she was hopping for a change from the mind-numbing boredom that was being trapped inside the metal box aka ship, but Dlyan wasn’t doing anything perking her question. However due to her broken wording that could be intruppted as any number of negative things, which would bare credence to the chipped paint on her fore head due to the amount of stuff that has been wacked on her head out of annoyance.
Twomp was in her beast form, with her large claws holding onto the side of the metal box with her chin on the roof and her antlers jutting behind her into the night, she had never met the organic partners of the Autobots due to fear of crushing one, but she was absorbing the looks and sent of the one she just met. Being from a jungle world made her less revolted by the organics as some of her kind, but she still found the hairless apes looking rather odd, not a single claw to defend themselves and barley any strength, not to mention the fabric that covers them.
So when he heard her voice it nearly made him crap himself. Mostly because he didn’t recognize the voice and he was understandably on edge at the moment. But he was even more surprised when he saw... A beast? What the heck was that thing?
As far as he had ever seen, the Autobots didn’t turn into that. But he also had been gone long enough he may have missed something. Still her question obviously confused him. “Um I’m not sure what you mean by that..”
“You are nothing, no activity, you not cold? Flesh are cold.” She asked him, she didn’t sound rude but she sounded confused more then anything. She had was never a curious creature but she knew when someone wasn’t feeling right even if they weren’t the same species. In the past she would just ask what was wrong but she hesitated to do that due to how rude it apperantly was. Thinking about what to do she remembered other Autobots telling her to gain a foothold with someone before asking personal questions, so she started asking questions, not really processing how she was sounding. “No claw? You not defend? You are furry head, you are no fur else?” The Autobot kept her chin on the metal box, of Dlyan was feeling brave he could approach her otherwise she just asked almost meaningless questions before she jumped the gun with no patience. “You are sad seem, why act sad seem?”
Twomp finally stopped talking as she waited a answer from the human, almost impatient as she brought her talons up and down in a form of drumming fingers. However in reality she was doing this unconiusly as she was to easily distracted to control all of her body, especially when she was excited.
Clearly this Bot whoever they were was a little strange. But where could he judge? He was a little strange sometimes too. It just definitely surprised him to see someone who didn’t seem to be the brightest bulb in the shed or speak... Normally he guessed?
“I mean I’m not sad. I’m just taking some time to think. This place is pretty good for that,” he explained. At least he honestly believed that. “As for fighting I mean I don’t really do a lot of that. I want to think I don’t have to anyway. If I had my way I’d fight a bit more anyway.”
It was honestly the truth. He wanted more in on the action anyway.
Twomp decided she would rather not have to stand on her toes so much, thus she backed away and transformed, gears clanking and shifting her entire torso opening before compressing. She looked no less monstrous then her beast form, but at the very least she looked more Cybertronian one could guess. She kneeled down on one knee next to the human so they were still eye level, or as eye level as a human and Cybertronian could be. “You are sad, you are not sad, I are not understand. Not you flesh or you mind.” She said scratching her right chest a little causing a horrible metal on metal sound. ”I are new here, you are old here?” She asked, looking at him expecting him to understand apperantly. In truth she didn’t really understand the need for big words. And she was now feeling awkward so she was doing what she usally does when she feels awkward, pretend not to and prep for sleeping.
