Player Alias: Vampyricon
Character Name: Chronon
Allegiance: Autobot
Appearance Description:
Mainly coloured purple and lavender with dark gray. Heavily armoured with three fins located on her back, alternating with four rows of six spikes. Additional rows of spikes are found facing outwards on her upper arms and backwards on her lower legs. Two more spikes face upwards, one on each shoulder A variant on the Autobot symbol, with an hourglass replacing the centre, could be found on her chest. Her knee guards are also quite sharp. Inconspicuous jet boosters are all over her body facing all directions.
She transforms into a spaceship that looks like a type-94 war TARDIS.
Personality:
While being highly intelligent, Chronon never attempts to show off, although she might geek out over her fields of interest, namely biology. She is also very dedicated to her research and would go to great lengths to complete it.
Though Chronon had already believed in Primus, her research on Cybertronian anatomy only affirmed her belief due to its efficiency. She became one of the major proponents of creation, a debate eventually won due to the discovery of the planet's core.
Due to her belief, Chronon holds life in high regard, and will always attempt to reason her way out of a conflict, only resorting to violence when someone is attacked or threatened.
Chronon also considers herself "evil", but whether the description is accurate is still up for debate. Most would say she isn't.
Weaponry:
1. Railguns - The 24 spikes on her back can be fired at Mach 7, or 2382 metres per second. Inaccurate due to inability to be aimed, only used to prevent being taken hostage. Usually misses the spark, which in most bots is located in the centre of their chest.
2. Shield - Large enough to cover her entire body and has a bladed edge.
3. EMP blaster - Stuns target.
Armour:
1. Liquid helium cooling system - Neutralizes heat-based attacks, e.g. plasma cools to liquid/solid. Takes longer for hotter objects.
2. Graphene armour - Can theoretically resist a pressure of 1 terapascal, or 10 million Earth atmospheres. Microscopic defects present weaken the structure, creating weak spots around the joints and around the railguns. Lightweight and flexible, but is chemically very reactive, burning up whenever the temperature is high enough (at least when there's oxygen).
Powers & Abilities:
1. Timey-wimeyness - Does not find timey-wimey weirdness weird.
2. Anatomy control - Has complete voluntary control over her own internal structure.
Strengths + Flaws:
+1: Genius-level intelligence but also able to easily explain her thoughts to others.
+2: Extensive scientific knowledge, especially about Cybertronian biophysics, Terran biochemistry, and material physics. Also knows a lot about time due to where she got her alt-mode.
+3: Extremely durable and quite strong, able to take a few hits even from a fusion cannon.
-1: Treats timey-wimeyness as commonplace, mostly due to her experience, but also due to being from another universe, so she would not raise any alarms
-2: Slow intra-planetary travel speed due to extremely unstreamlined alt-mode.
-3: Being a technical pacifist may hinder her ability to fight, whether by being slow to act or by refusal to kill unless necessary.
History:
Chronon is from another universe. Though similar to the main Aligned universe, time travellers were much more active in hers, rewriting history to fit their agendas from time to time (no pun intended).
As a biophysicist on Cybertron, her work focused on the intrinsic subspace generators in Cybertronian bodies, and how they are able to produce warps in space allowing Cybertronians to store things that could not normally be stored in a flat space.
Chronon and her team came by their alt-modes by crashing into the planet of a time-active race, scanning their timeships. They had used this power to stop anyone from causing destruction on massive scales, travelling to stop them then disappearing right after.
How she came here, or even how far she is from her home universe, is unknown even to her, though she could make, as her mentor would call it, an educated guess. Her last memory before being in this universe was of her and her friends' alt-modes' chrono-spatial drives being damaged by a disruptor just as they were starting to teleport from an alternate universe. Therefore she thought it safe to assume that the disruption had caused a random teleportation, and since the range of her teleportation was great enough to cross universes, she ended up in another one.
Roleplay/Writing Sample:
Indianapolis, Indiana
The city was deserted. There was evidence of a rapid evacuation, as a lot of property was left untouched. It was as if the entire population had disappeared overnight. The reason soon became clear as a giant mass of purple hurtled across the sky, crashing into the ground and forming a crater.
A few days later
"Urgh, mommy," Chronon murmured. She tried to sit upright. "Dammit," she thought. Her spikes and fins were lodged into the ground. She fired her booster jets to free her back and turned upright with her gyroscope, while unknowingly tilting her head in confusion. "Why am I in Indianapolis? And since I'm here, where's John Green?"
Chronon's thoughts were interrupted by two Vehicon jets firing at her. She transformed and took off, not wanting a fight.
The Vehicons followed and continued firing.
"If you would just stop firing and let me leave, that'd be great," Chronon announced. "I'd really want all three of us to leave unhurt."
The Vehicons only fired more.
Chronon transformed back, landing some ways away from the city.
One of the Vehicons landed in front of her, aiming their blaster. She took out her EMP emitter and aimed back. She didn't notice the other until she heard the sound of a blaster charging up, uncomfortably close to her head. Despite all the upgrades she had received, her head was as vulnerable as ever. She knew she had no choice.
The Vehicon behind her fell down, with perfectly circular holes all over their torso, legs, and arms. The one in front of her was unconscious. "Primus forgive me," she murmured. Not daring to see her handiwork, Chronon stepped over the unconscious Vehicon and walked away without turning around.
