PYRO
@astrinal | arsonist / interrogator | Decepticon
Appearance Description:
Pyro is a trenchcoat femme, standing at roughly 22ft. Her build is for strength, but does have the dexterity when she needs it. Her armor is made of cybertronium, the sort of kind that can take serious damage, but has half the weight. She likes to consider this medium armor, good for her type of combat.
Pyro has fiery orange optics and a white, yellow, and blue paint job. Most parts of her armor are scorched from her choice weapons. This causes some splotches of black and grey to appear. Her trenchcoat is retractable, but she rarely takes it off (only for combat.) During combat, she also has a battle mask in shape of a gas mask.
Pyro's alternative mode is a Flamethrower. She has no vehicle/aircraft mode.
Personality:
Pyro is a femme with sharp senses and skill, but uses them for reckless reasons. Normally called a 'hot head', or just a plain old glitch, Pyro carries the negative nicknames with pride.
- If one meets Pyro for the first time, Pyro will come on strong ( intentionally or unintentionally, the world may never know ). As one of the younger decepticons, Pyro will have pretty strong opinions and assumptions, not really thinking about the consequences. If you tend to bore her, she might accidentally judge you, or inspect you. If she suddenly gets hostile, you've done something wrong!
- Friends or allies of Pyro get to see the smart-aft side of her. She talks alot, and doesn't hold back a snarky comment if someone's plan has a flaw, or if there doing something wrong. If those said people are close allies to her, Pyro will help them fix it. When she's around these sorts of individuals, Pyro isn't afraid to show the side of her that is more than a rookie, and she does have more skill than the average recruit. Even though she shows these sorts of traits around trusted individuals, she never lets her guard down. Only because she's afraid of letting people see the weak side of her: the one with mercy and fear.
- Around superiors, Pyro is smart enough to keep her trap shut, and do as she's told. She won't argue, and wont complain. She'd rather be alive, then die due to a smart-aft comment.
Weaponry:
Incendiary Shotguns
Pyro loves fire. She'll do anything to see her opponent burn. These shotguns were modified by herself to shoot near corrosive bullets, igniting into flames upon impact. These rounds do well against well armored individuals. [ .5 post reload cooldown ]
Energon-Incendiary Sword
Pyro loves this sword. When equipt, Pyro's sword alits it's self in flames. It leaves a nasty mark on whoever gets hit by it.
Incendiary / Flash / Regular Grenades
- The Incendiary grenades burn pyro's opponents, and damages armor and underworks.
- Flash grenades are used for a swift getaway, stunning an enemy for a bit. [ 1 post effect ]
- Regular grenades are your average explosive. Watch out! You might loose a limb!
Strengths + Flaws:
+ Master strategist and interrogate
+ Excels at crowd control, close combat, and some mid combat.
+ FIRE!!!! ANYTHING FIRE!!!!
- Pyro doesn't know how- or when- to shut up.
- far range combat pins her down.
- Water. Lots of it.
- Pyro's alternative mode gas canister is on her backplate. If you manage to damage it, it can incapacitate Pyro.
History:
" Just because Im a con, doesn't mean Im bad. "
Pyro was born on paradon near the end of the war on cybertron. Her parents were of low class, but were happy. Pyro was orignally named 'Pycritus', the youngest of two. Her brother, a mech known as crashcourse, had always been the better child. He got everything, was the favorite of the family. While he stole the show, Pyc didn't receive any treatment from her parents. She got the disadvantages of any situation, accused of being irresponsible and lazy, even though she worked twice as hard as her brother.
At the age of 10 (cybertronian equivilant), Pyc's father was sent to war, forcing her mother to take care of the kids. Pyc didn't get any peace until the age of 15 (cybertronian equivilant), when her brother had graduated from the academy and was sent to cybertron as a medic. The peace made her work harder to better than her brother. With no doubt, Pyc graduated from the academy. But she still failed to beat her brother.
When Pyc was sent to Cybertron, Pyc swiftly joined the decepticons. She joined because of their superior technology, and because her brother was an autobot. This was her downfall, which she was sucked into the twisted evil of some of the decepticon hierarchy. She got the memo fast, unlike some of the rookies: Eat, or get eaten. This made her step up her game. Pyc changed her name to Pyro after finding a love for fire, and grew a silver tongue to hold her ground. Before she knew it, Pyro was one of the better lower ranged soldiers, rising into the ranks.
After changing her ideals, Pyro slowly began to notice how cruel some of the decepticon ideology was. Megatron's goals were ultimately killing cybertron. These thinkings stuck with her into the exodus, where she began to question where her loyalties lied.
Roleplay/Writing Sample:
*crunch*
A metal bat would collide with the inmate's face, sending his faceplate into the opposite direction. Energon would release from his intake, hitting the floor and near Pyro's peds. As she held the bat-like torture device in her servo, she shook her helm in disappointment. She thought the protectobot would last more than fifteen minutes. And here he was, already spitting up energon.
"Come onnnn" Pyro dragged her words, almost as if she were bored. That wasn't the case, it was the only thing that would keep her humored. "It wouldn't hurt to tell me where the energon drop is? It won't hurt anybody, yeah?"
The Protectobot slowly turned his help, opening his intake to say something, As soon as she hear the first two words 'go to', she didn't allow him to finish. She swung the bat again, knocking the mech's face the other way. "Dude, it's not a question that requires a snarky comment back." The femme sighed. She used the end of her bat to turn the mech's face toward her. "Give me.. the location. Otherwise you'll be responsible for more deaths."
Pyro wasn't like most decepticons. She didn't enjoy killing people. Even burning people didn't reach that point. Before she could get the protectobot to speak, the mech's opticals dimmed into stasis. Pyro supressed her growl. I guess he didn't get the memo..
Pyro took a step back, forming her right forearm into a flamethrower. ..I dont keep useless prisoners..
The room alit in flames.
