Player Alias: Vampyricon
Character Name: Zephyr (nicknamed Zeph)
Allegiance: Autobots
Appearance Description:
An eyepiece could deploy over her right eye to provide a crosshair for even better aim, similar to that of (IDW) Perceptor's. On her left shoulder is a claw-like shoulder guard shaped similar to (Prime) Megatron's, albeit not as bulky. She has a guard piece covering her entire right shoulder and reaching down to her back, with three cylinders attached perpendicularly, pointing backwards. An attachment for her rifle is present on the front, which is able to rotate upwards.
Due to the harness, her wings are prevented from folding up symmetrically. Thus, unlike other Seeker-style chassis, both of her wings are located on the left side of her back.
She is coloured white and pale silver, with her lines glowing the colour of burning sulfur or a helium discharge lamp. She is 8.74 metres in height, and transforms into a starfighter with front-swept wings and a laser cannon on each of them.
Personality + Character Traits:
Zephyr tries to be friendly, and is always enthusiastic. However, her fragile grasp of Cybertronian behaviour leaves her somewhat of an outsider, as she doesn't know when to stop being friendly. She is also very straightforward, too much so, some would say, unknowingly offending others with her comments. A separate personality kicks in as she is on the hunt. Cold, calculating, and patient, she could wait for days in pursuit of her target, and end their lives with a well placed gamma ray pulse to the brain module.
As a sniper, her accuracy is second to none, able to hit anything if given enough time to line up her shot. The time needed is, of course, proportional to the size and distance of the object, at least within a planet. She is surprisingly good at interstellar sniping. Her streamlined alt-mode allows her a speedy getaway from the scene. Though specialized in sniping, she could handle herself in melee combat well enough to avoid major injuries.
Though extremely accurate when given enough time, her accuracy leaves a lot to be desired otherwise, and her reliance on her invisibility leaves her greatly disadvantaged when her armour is damaged. Invisibility is also disabled in environments without a thick enough atmosphere, as she would overheat due to the inability to radiate heat.
Weaponry:
1. Modular photon rifle - Fires a laser according to the cylinder attached, and has an attachment at the end of its stock. It can turn invisible, and has various detachable barrels, and uses the sniper barrel by default. The cylinders on her right shoulder guard allow her to change the colour, and thus energy, of her lasers.
>Barrels:
Sniper (default) - Fires one strong laser pulse, extremely accurate.
Shotgun - Fires several weak lasers in a cone or gives off a bright flash.
Automatic - Fires a continuous laser of average power.
>Cylinders:
Electrons and positrons - Electrons and positrons annihilate to emit gamma rays, but the high energy would melt the barrel if used in sniper or automatic mode. Has to be reloaded occasionally when the particles are used up.
Tungsten sheet - Bombarded with high energy electrons to release X-rays, but its high energy would melt the sniper barrel.
Mercury vapour - Ultraviolet laser, highest energy usable without melting any barrel.
Caesium vapour - Blue laser, highest energy laser in the human visible light range.
Helium gas - Red-orange laser, lowest energy laser in the human visible light range.
2. Dagger - A dagger.
Armour:
Optical metamaterial - Turns her completely invisible (for one post), while making her blind for the duration, or partially invisible (for two) with her glowy bits replaced with black, except her eyes, which glow. (Cooldown: 2 posts after effect wears off.) Lightweight but fragile, and unable to turn damaged parts invisible, only transparent.
Abilities:
1. Invisibility - See above.
2. Timey-wimeyness - Due to frequent exposure towards timey-wimey events, and her other-universal origins, she will assume inconsistencies with her home universe are because of this being another universe.
History:
As with Chronon, Zephyr hails from another Uniend cluster (Aligned) universe where time travellers were actively shaping history.
For much of her life, she had been serving the Cybertronian military as a sniper. With her inherent invisibility and practiced accuracy, she has pulled off feats normally considered impossible.
Zephyr was initially a Decepticon, way back when they were still a political movement, though she quickly severed all ties once the war started, deeming most of the new Decepticons too violent.
She eventually ended up escaping Cybertron with Chronon and a few others, crashing onto a planet where she acquired her previous alt-mode. A number of timey-wimey adventures later, however, they ended up facing a similarly upgraded Decepticon, which left them outside their universe.
After a brief, unpleasant stop in Axiom Nexus, where most of her weapons and gadgets were impounded, she arrived in this universe with only her rifle, though not any less prepared to fight.
