Jetfire nodded along at both of them. The Energon crisis was leading up to be a bigger threat to Cybertron than the Decepticons ever were, which was saying a great deal about it. The subcommander turned to Stepper first, replying, "Of course I did. Nebulos is chock full of energon, after all. I omitted that detail from my report after the old council finally rescued me, however. Despite the severity of the crisis we're about to face, I won't have us resorting to strip mining and burning innocent worlds to sustain ourselves; at least not until we create a safer way to harvest energon."

He turned back to Windblade, "If we ever hope to tackle a problem that large, we'll need the support of the colonies; without having to drain each and every one of them to sustain Cybertron." The seeker paused to scratch his chin, before continuing, "All of that is subjective, since we've been inept at coordinating ourselves so far, let alone the colonies."

"A grave one, I'm afraid." Stepper swallowed. He then vented. Mining various worlds would not sustain them forever, even. Even planets they could have possibly harvested from like Messatine, though it was more notable for Nucleon. Nucleon, sadly, wasn't energon though and thus would not sustain them.

"Not to mention some of the colonies were under siege, weren't they? I mean, that's what I got from a report!" He blurted. "I mean, not Caminus, but other ones. I know Prion was...I read a lot of reports, sir. Ma'am." He knew he should address both of them, of course.
