She knew the sad tones with which they spoke, her little digit crooking in front of her mouth quietly. She didn't know what to say or do, and while still charged she was afraid to touch them. However, she tried to show the picture proudly as though to try to cheer them up, starting to "make it dance" in her own little way of tilting it several times.
However, her carrier's small chuckle gave her hope and her tiny optics lit up brightly. Wait, she'd done that without imitating her carrier! She just knew the tone of voice, sharp and forceful.

Dylan.. Had never heard that before. Most people looked at him like there was something very wrong with him when he talked about *that*. He knew that the mech had shared a history but even then. His mind swirled as he tried to think about everything he’d just said in general. He understood what he was saying. and maybe he would be better off with someone... Well someone that knew at least what he was going through, someone who could emphathize.
He watched Saggita bouncing the picture up and down and gave the faintest of smiles. “Ok, ok. I guess I uh, can’t say no to that face,” he stammered his words out. “I mean if you’re sure”

Pharma vented softly. He knew what it was like to have your innocence--or at least your choice--taken away. He would protect Dylan from ever having to have that happen again if he had his way. And he would do it even if he had to risk exposing Cybertronians.
He then gave a smirk. "To be fair, I'm probably the only one who can but even then I have trouble saying no to her."
His optics softened. He had trouble even saying no to Sagitta except if it was for her own safety. He wouldn't let her wander alone. He never wanted another child of his to leave his sight for very long...

Dylan smirked, of course he could. Parents could always say no, and he had a feeling he’d hear it from Pharma often himself seeing as he liked to pull regular stunts. It was weird, he realized. The gravity of what had just happened was hitting him right in the chest. One of the Autobots has just invited him to join his family... And he had just accepted.
God there were those tears again. He tried to push them away, even if they were happy tears.
“You know I pretty much dreamed someone here would ask to adopt me,” he said quietly. “This place, and the Autobots... You guys have been the closest thing to feeling like I had a home and family I’ve ever had. I just I never actually thought someone would give me that kind of chance.” He explained. “I’d just accepted people saw me as what my social worker did, unadoptable.”
He then added. “If this happens. And I can actually call this place my home. I don’t know if “thank you” is even going to begin to cover it.”

Sagitta's helm tilted and she suddenly tried to imitate what he had said as though to ask what it meant. "Tankoo?" She looked to her carrier first, then to Dylan.
What was this 'tankoo' that wasn't going to be enough? But hearing nice things like "home" and "family" meant it had to be something good, right? She reached out as though to try to hug Dylan, like Pharma hugged her close oftentimes, and like she sometimes hugged Nightshade and Ratchet and Peripheral close. She didn't quite understand about her own strength, of course. But she would try!
"Hug?"

Pharma vented softly and smiled, trying not to get choked up himself. He had often tried to push away his own tears, even happy ones. After all, tears reminded him of the Nemesis at this point.
He shivered and vented. "Sometimes it's those of us who have been through the worst that understand the best...and...and damn it you deserve a second chance, to be honest." He didn't say that he himself deserved a second chance as well. It was unspoken, a sentiment that hung between the two.
"May this place become 'home' to both of us." Pharma's voice creaked softly.
He then turned to his daughter. "You may if he wants you to." He then leaned closer. "But be gentle, he's not a bot, remember. He's human. Soft like your cuddly bird plush."

Dylan looked up at the mech rather quietly. Well that was definitely the first time anyone had ever acknowledged he did. Of course he’d made mistakes before and in life. He wouldn’t have gone to juvie if he hadn’t. But he now really wanted to prove to Pharma that he wasn’t making a mistake giving him that second chance. That he was a good kid, and maybe even could make a good son. He just needed someone that actually gave a damn for once.
And he felt like Pharma could definitely be that mech.
“T-Thank you sir, I promise I won’t let you down.” He said, cringing at his formal he sounded.
At Sagitta’s question, Dylan paused, he actually hadn’t hugged a lot in life. Affection was a bit foreign to him in general. But at the same time, Dylan knew he could learn. “I uh, I’ve never really hugged before so I’m not sure if I’ll be perfect at this but sure,” at least it was a kid and not an adult.

Pharma gave a soft noise. He didn't know what to say for once, his spark racing like a pack of turbofoxes. He wanted to show he was truly a good mech, that he wasn't going to let what happened at Delphi define him for once. He wasn't going to let what the Decepticon Justice Division did to him define him.
"Nor will I let you down. I'm done letting others down." He spoke warmly.
He couldn't help but give a tiny smile. This was a mutual first for them it seemed. Sagitta's first human hug, Dylan's first hug.

She blinked but gave a bright look. She had to learn to be careful so she wrapped her arms around Dylan carefully. He wasn't as soft as a plushie, but he wasn't as hard as a bot. Weird. But nice at the same time.
"Down?" She was confused. She was already on the ground, not nestled up against her papa's chest chassis.
