"I have raised a little one myself. I can say that it is the most rewarding experience of my life. I'm glad you've found your family, even if it is with those not of your kind." She settled again, doorwings moving slowly. "I wish you all happiness then, Dylan." He certainly deserved it, and she didn't even know exactly what had happened to him. She could hazard a guest by how he acted and handled himself. He needed to be given the chance to give his trust on his own, rather than someone trying to force him to trust him.
The first priority as a caregiver, as a medic to the young, was to earn her patient's trust. It seemed Dylan would be the first one she had to start building up that trust with.
And then he started mentioning candy and she had to shake her head. "I meant I wasn't sure why a physician provides candy to the young ones. We do have a version of this. Energon goodies. Made right they aren't capable of overcharging us and they are usually made of a concentrated energon that isn't good for our systems in large doses. Sort of like your fast food and candy, I suppose."
Blizzard choked when faced with the truth of Ratchet's cursing. "I've heard him plenty of times, and his reputation preceded him before that. If you want to start using that language, just keep it away from me." She smiled sweetly. "I really don't want to have to wash your mouth out with soap."

Dylan smiled a bit, it was definitely a nice notion. And he definitely agreed, his species or not he knew this is where he belonged. He’d felt that way the first time he’d set foot here - like somehow he was always meant to be there. It was weird, but he decidedly didn’t really overthink things too much. “Yeah, I am too. I mean I always felt like this was home in some weird way. The second I set foot in here it was like I just knew,” he then added. “The world works weird I guess.”
Oh ok that made much more sense. “Well I mean, I guess candy just makes everything better I guess?” He replied as he finally finished wrapping himself up. “To kids sweets are the best. So it’s hard not to love them. I’m partial to cupcake and snickers myself. Those things are crazy good.” He explained.
“Noted,” he added brightly. “And you can try but you’d have to catch me first to do that.” He snorted.

"The higher powers work in mysterious ways. Perhaps, in some way, they collaborated to make sure you found your way to the Autobots where you would be cared for and appreciated." She offered quietly and finally came to lay her hands on the edge of the table then kneeling so that her head was perched on it so she was optic level with her little patient. Humans were such a fascinating little species.
She listened attentively to him explain the draw of sweets, and nodded as she filed the information away for later use. "I will endevor to have cupcakes and snickers in my sweets jar for you whenever you have a schedualed appointment then."
Blizzard actually laughed, straightening as her doorwings fanned out behind her. "Have you seen my altmode? Catching you would be a fun exercise." She grinned and wiggled her fingers at him. "If you are finished, and would like, I can show it to you." Her altmode that is, the sleek little car she turned into when not in her bipedal state.

Dylan nodded his head in agreement. He’d thought about it too. That maybe he had always belonged here and it had just been a matter of being lead there. Or maybe it was really some freak accident that he would never be able to properly explain. Either way he wasn’t totally sure and probably never would be sure. “I don’t know, maybe. I definitely have someone to thank up there if that’s the truth,” he replied honestly. “But I mean we can never really answer how any of us end up together until we meet our maker. And I ain’t ready for that.”
Ohhh cupcakes and snickers. Now she was speaking his language. “Mouth watering already.”
Ok that one had his interest. What on Earth did that mean? A part of him got a bit nervous at the idea - the other was like “Heck yeah!”. But Dylan being, well... Dylan, it was pretty easy to tell what won him over. “Heck yeah, I’m done! What do you transform into exactly?” He asked.

She laughed at his enthusiasm, shaking her head before gently plucking him up and setting him on the floor back from her so that he could get a proper view of her altmode. "Stay there, I don't want to accidentally get you caught up in my transformation."
The medic then folded down, her doorwings having to actually flip and split in order to have the proper configuration for her sleek little altmode. She enjoyed the different modes Earth had to offer. They were beautiful and unique, and totally different from what was considered the norm on Cybertron. She popped the door so that he could see in there too if he wanted.
"I," Her voice came from the speakers, broadcast outward. "Am a 2015 Lexus RC." In proper seafoam to compliment her natural coloring. "What do you think? Not as new and shiny as some, but I think it suits."

Not as new and shiny?
Dylan had to disagree, given he did love himself a good car, and motorcycle, and truck... Really, he was just a guy who liked vehicles and usually could pick out the ugly ones. Which she was hardly one of. "Are you kidding? Your alt mode kicks butt! And honestly? Lexus' are some of the best cars out there." he explained.
He came up for a closer look, peeking inside. This was... Definitely not what he was used to for a medic's alt mode. But he definitely liked that she stood out from the norm. At the same time though, he definitely had to ask... "What made you chose it though? It's a far cry from Ratchet or Pharma's. Which makes it cool, but I mean I've mostly seen sports cars around here." He added. "I thin you're the first Bot I've seen who went for a functional and fancy alt mode."

"Well thank you." She beamed internally, leaving her door open so he could admire her interior. She did love this form. It was sleek and attractive and aesthetically pleasing to her. She was, after everything else, a femme sparked in Crystal City. She enjoyed pretty things, including herself. So there was that.
She had to laugh when he asked why she'd chosen the form. "I wasn't originally a medic, wasn't built for it. Believe it or not, I used to be someone's pampered 'eye-candy' I believe you humans call it? So there was no reason for me to be built with the sturdier frame of a medical type. That being so I never found reason to upgrade, so I remain sleek and slender. Ratchet and Pharma are what we call a 'medic type', despite the fact that Pharma has wings and Ratchet does not. Where I was from, that meant being built broad and sturdy, with upgrades to the joints to handle greater load baring. Since medical personnel never know if they'll have to haul someone back to their bay from an emergency site."
Blizzard sighed softly. "I have to say that its mostly a nod to my vanity that I look this way, especially the color. Certainly stands out, doesn't it?"

Dylan made an “oh” motion with his mouth.
Well that was certainly an unexpected bit of backstory. After all, he was still learning a lot of things about the Autobots now that he was living with them. Things like frame types, the development and existence of sparklings, all kinds of stuff he’d always thought about but never really had a great grasp of. “Wow, I feel like the more I live here the more I learn. But I kind of get it too - sort of like how us humans look different sometimes depending on our lifestyle.” He explained. “I totally get it.”
He smiled a bit - maybe it did show off her vanity a bit but who cared. “Hey nothing wrong with standing out! We all stand out one way or another. You have this, some people like pimped our trucks,” he then added with a laugh. “Then you get real weirdos like me who would just assume spend all their time around Autobots than humans. You think I don’t stand out? You should own what makes you stand out!”
