To think that Strongarm had actually gotten to learn while Ratchet was just a med student. It was such a strange thought to Smokescreen, but the officer seemed to have enjoyed the prospect of it all. First aid wasn't a bad thing to learn, and that would help her out in the long run when there wasn't a medic around to treat minor injuries.
"Sounds like you definitely learned a whole lot from him and the guy that taught him."
He kicked back, relaxing as he held up the datapad for them both to watch the strangely hyper, green-haired lad play the game, asking for high fives all around. The game seemed a bit boring to Smokescreen, but that moment of a character being detained was what got him going.
"Ha!! He so did. Away he goes, and I hope he learned his lesson."

She flicked her wings up happily, giggling. She would then flit her wings down softly and smile. There was just something about remembering Ratchet's old teacher that made her smile. He was such a gentle mech, she remembered, and he loved her enthusiasm.
"Mhm. The latter...was almost like a grandpa to me if that makes sense? Well, from the way Russell explained what a grandpa was."
She then laughed hysterically. "I kind of want to see another one de--oh look, it's the little potato man. He's probably going to get detained for some reason." She leaned against Smokescreen without thinking, seemingly comfortable with his presence.

No matter how one stacked it, just the thought alone of Ratchet's mentor (and Strongarm's Grandpa) was the most terrifying thing ever. Smokescreen kept telling himself that he might not actually be as bad as his processor was making him out to be.
All he could see when he closed his optics were the flurry of wrenches all coming his way.
The mech honestly didn't have a clue what Strongarm meant by 'Potato Man', but she definitely seemed to be enjoying this video game that she wanted him to watch. While there wasn't as much humor in it as he would've liked, there was something about the way the green haired man screaming 'Detained' cracked him up. He jumped ever so slightly as he suddenly felt the weight of the femme pressed against him, looking over to her as a blush crept onto his face.
...She was kinda cute like that.
"There's these other guys I like that sometimes build things for the heck of it. Nothing big but, you gotta watch this one where they make houses out of these weird human cookie things. It's to die for!"

Now, from what Strongarm remembered, Pharma wasn't a wrench-throwing type. No, his savagery came out in a glossa as sharp as any laser scalpel and sarcasm pointed enough to be a drill. Ratchet had learned the wrench-slinging on his own. Or possibly from watching his adopted daughter sling her toys.
She gave a bright soft smile. "Oh, you should see him when he does Happy Wheels. That one is HILARIOUS. I mean, I shouldn't be laughing at a game like that but it's hilarious." She then paused and glanced to him. Building things?
"Do they decorate the houses with candies and stuff? Please tell me they decorate the houses with candies and stuff. It sounds almost like something that my adoptive Vosian grandpa described being done in Vos only it was treats and trying to make a spire out of them and stuff." She giggled.

Happy Wheels? Smokescreen didn't know about the game's context, and it apparently wasn't one that Strongarm wasn't entirely thrilled about, but it definitely sounded awesome!
"Heck yeah! We'll have to build up an entire playlist of these things. I mean, Happy Wheels can't be that bad, right? It's right there in the name. How can you possibly go wrong?" Wasn't quite as happy as one would expect in terms of the character player, but he'd soon see. Though Strongarm was definitely interested in this other group that he had been mentioning.
"Yep, and smash 'em all too. I know, sounds pointless, but it's the reactions that sell the whole thing. They do a whole lot of other things like weird challenges, video games, and these oddly therapeutic videos with dogs. Human animals are so weird, but there's just something about dogs that are awesome." This coming from a mech who had never actually seen a dog in real life. Maybe that's what drew him into these sorts of things. Just the fact that it was an escape from the war and give him insight on things that he wouldn't traditionally get to see as an alien to this world.

"It's just hilariously violent and gruesome is all. Like...not one I'd wanna show around my papa. Or any siblings I ever have. Or even the human kids unless that was what Jack and Miko were playing that one time." Strongarm laughed. She normally didn't much like dark humor but it was too funny with slapstick humor and the green-haired guy screaming.
She paused and gave a grin. "Oh Primus. Grandpa used to let me do that though. And then eat them. But mostly smash them so I could eat them. But...I haven't seen him in so long. Not since Papa left...well...the medical school." She then perked up. "What's a dog?"

Hilariously violent and gruesome..?
And it was the police bot who enjoyed this? Hey. Who was Smokescreen to judge Strongarm's interests~? Everyone had the things that they liked, especially the ones that were least expected.
"I mean.. we could always watch it if you wanted to. We're gonna run out of famous internet people here at some point, and heck.. maybe some of them have even played that game! Guess we'll just have to look it up, but yeah.. probably best the others don't see. Don't want, saaay... Optimus walking in and saying something like 'Turn that thing off or so help me'. Heh. Don't know if he actually would, but you know what they say, right? Primes never party."
...Party poopers.
It certainly sounded like Strongarm had been having a great time back at medical school even if she wasn't the one truly studying. Made him a little jealous given his years of boot camp and such to get into the Elite Guard.
But then she went and said it.
"You don't.. oh geez. See, now I gotta do it. So, Strongarm... What's updog?"

Hey, police-bots sometimes got stressed out and needed something funny to get them through the day. Hilariously gruesome and violent games honestly fit the bill for her. She didn't play Happy Wheels herself, of course. She'd learned the hard way that she really sucked at spikefalls and bottle runs and anything where, as the green-haired guy had said, speed is key.
"Every party has a pooper--that's why someone invited him." She joked playfully. "But we'll definitely have to look it up. I know he's not the only one who's played it. There's gotta be a lot of others, some who probably scream and laugh just as maniacally or moreso."
She quirked her optical ridges at that word. She'd never heard of it before. "What is updog?" She leaned in towards Smokescreen slightly.

Smokescreen couldn't help but laugh. Strongarm definitely wasn't as uptight as she first appeared, especially with this level of joking. Then again, she did seem pretty young, just like he was. Maybe even around the same age! It wasn't as if the Elite Guardsmech would ask her though.
If there was one thing that he knew above all else, you never asked a femme her age.
Ever.
"Really? Guess we'll have to find time to watch all of them. If there's as many as you say, there isn't gonna be enough time in a single day to watch 'em all. Heh.. We'll figure it out." The mech grinned, looking to Strongarm.
And then the magic happened. She answered just as he hoped.
"Not much! How about you?!" Smokescreen burst into a fit of laughter, slapping his own knee joint in the process. His laughing fit went on for a minute or two before he wiped an optics. "Ah ha haa... Hoooo!! I'm sorry. Maybe that one was a bit mean, but still. Totally worth it. You see, humans have this weird thing about calling themselves anything but their names.. and 'dawg' is one of the nicknames people call each other here."
