“You keep callin’ me a rookie, and I’ll keep callin’ you’ ‘Doc’, Doc,” Jazz said bluntly as he continued their combined attempt to ford the river and collect the runaway relic. Knock Out’s continued attempts to get under his plating were amusing more than anything, but the longer the Decepticon prattled on, the more the saboteur just tuned him out. “If you’re tryin’ to bother me, yer gonna have’ta try harder,” he drawled, casually, in a tone he hoped would annoy the Decepticon. “Is that the best insult you could come up with? Cause if so, mech, you gotta work on that. THis is straight up embarassin’ even for a ‘Con.”
Let it be said that he too could play the game of ‘take pot shots and trade barbs with the enemy’.
Still, he wouldn’t deny it was a relief when they got to the opposite shore. The sooner they recovered the relic, the sooner they could become unstuck. He nearly had a spark attack when the Polarity Gauntlet slipped under the water, but luckily Knock Out’s reflexes were sharp, and the thing was safely in their possession. “-Wait, don’t shake it…!”
Too late. Like before, the artifact activated when Knock Out carelessly waved it around, and this time neither of them could escape. Once more, the sensation of pins and needles overtakes his limbs, numbness permeating down to his very protoform. It was the most unpleasant sensation he’d ever felt -- but when the awful feelings faded, the magnetism gluing them together had disappeared, and they were separate bots once again.
“Well, it’s been a great day, Doc, but I gotta get back t’base with that toy now.”

The best insult? No. He wasn't inspired right now. That's why “Rookie” was great! Yes, it was obvious that Jazz wasn't “new”, but it bother most Autobots as usual. Unfortunately, this guy wasn't very bothered by this. Too bad. Maybe next time? … If there is a next time. The relic was activated. They were now separated! The doctor sat up, rubbing his head. This shook his system very highly. It wasn't better for the Autobot. He was just front and back of him, on the ground. Perfect. Knock Out smiled. It was time to go. He gently pulled his electric spear and approached. - I enjoyed this ride. As much as you, I guess. But it is time to separate... Sorry. While Jazz recovered his mind, he thrust his spear into the nape of his enemy, electrifying him. After the shock he had just had with the relic, it was not to be enjoyable to being electrocuted. He watched him fall to the ground. His smile widened. He won! Alone! Without Breakdown! What a beautiful day! - Thank you so much for the relic, Autobot. He then laughed wickedly. He was so happy! But had him to finish Jazz? He preferred to take his precautions. He looked around, and decided to go in one direction. He plunged into the forest, out of sight soon. Megatron was going to be satisfied. Very satisfied.
