Aiden took the wallet and nodded.

"I can do that, I'll be right back. I'll try not to be a big spender," Aiden teased.

Not that Aiden would be buying anything for himself. He didn't like to spend other people's money. But he would get something salty for Bahir to snack on. Aiden knew that hospital food wasn't really that appetizing.

When he came back, he had some chips and he also brought some water for Bahir as well in case he got thirsty.

Bahir smiles and reaches out for the chips and water. "Thank you. Nothing for yourself?" He pouted at Aiden a bit. "How can we have a date if you didn't get some snacks for yourself as well?" There was a playful lilt to the word 'date'. It can be both interpreted as serious or teasing. But with the way he patted the empty side of his bed, maybe not so playful.

"A date," Aiden repeated with a small laugh. "I'm your nurse, that's hardly appropriate."

He didn't want to get fired. But a small smile crossed his lips.

"Ask me again when you're out of here, though. I might have a different answer. And I didn't get anything cause I'm not hungry right now. I'm going to be going off-shift in a few hours and I don't want to spoil my appetite for dinner."

Bahir opened the bag of chips and started to eat them, a soft sound of satisfaction after that first chip. "So good." And none of that bland hospital food.

"So, I hear a maybe. Does that mean you have an interest in me, nurse?" He grins at Aiden, taking another chip and putting it in his mouth.

Aiden just smiled and didn't say anything, simply sitting next to him. Yes, Bahir was very attractive and he caught Aiden's interest. But he still didn't know anything at all about the man except that he liked salty food and he got in a car accident.

"You can't only eat chips, you know. You still need to have an actual meal."

Bahir makes a noise that might sound like a bad impression of a dying dog. "The food here is so... bland." Another chip in mouth, chew chew, swallow. "...You know what I really want? Beef noodle bowls from my favorite Chinese place. So good." Another chip as he looks a little distant, fantasizing about food, then he blinks and looks back at Aiden. "I do eat the meals, just... meh."

"So, what's your favorite foods, good lookin'? Since we are talking about food and all. "

Aiden hummed with a nod. "You'll be able to get that once you're able to leave. Which will still be awhile if you insist on getting out of bed before you're able to." Pointed look.

"Oh... I like a lot of things. As long as there isn't any meat in it, I'll probably like it."

"That's true. I'll get some when I get out. Maybe I'll ask someone cute out to eat with me, to celebrate getting out. Maybe one of the hot EMTs that brought me in." Bahir said thoughtfully, looking into his bag of chips. "... ah, just crumbs now. Oh well." He tilts his head back as best he could to tilt the chip pieces in his mouth.

"You could take me out... if you want," Aiden said, glancing away shyly.

Aiden had thought Bahir was flirting. Maybe he read it wrong.

"Um... do you need any painkillers or anything?"

"Ah ha, you are interested." Bahir was grinning very widely now. "And I am glad for that, you are much hotter than that EMT."

He winks at Aiden, before flopping back in the bed. "No, I'm fine for now. I got interesting and sweet company with me."

... Was Aiden just tricked into admitting that? He scrunched his nose up in confusion. But then his expression turned to concern at the flopping.

"Careful!" Aiden exclaimed. "Doing that could really hurt you if you aren't cautious!"

Bahir turned his head and looks at Aiden as he exclaimed about the flopping.

"... Not even on a date yet and already you are fussing over me." There was a tease in his tone, then he shifted a bit. "I think I just need to move the bed so I am sitting up a bit. I'm uncomfortable at this angle." More shifting.

Aiden huffed slightly. Of course he was going to fuss. He's his nurse. But he did nod and help adjust the bed so it was at an incline instead of flat.

"How's that?"

Bahir made a grunt as he the bed was set at an incline, then blew a kiss at the cute nurse.

"Much better, I appreciate that."

"Oh. I am curious... do you have any favorite flowers?"

Aiden tried not to roll his eyes at the cheeky display. This one was going to be a handful, he could tell.

"Ah... You know, at risk of sounding horribly cliche... I like roses. What about you?"
