Waiting for the Thunder

Kaon seemed to fold his hands in front of himself, the List and the leash still in his grasp. What worked for one may not necessarily work for another. His own incentive would be extra fueling privileges, of course. He then chuckled, still remembering how Vos had twisted the mask and turned to his commander.

"I would say that perhaps an extra ration of Nuke is in order for him. We all do so enjoy the rush of it, do we not?" He would lift his finger on his right hand, where he gripped the leash thoughtfully.

A reverent expression fell onto his face once he entered the bridge. As though on cue, he knelt in front of Megatron as well to show his devotion, the darkened pits where his optics would be seemingly fixed on the glorious Decepticon lord. The Pet would lay next to Kaon, as though watching what he and Tarn were doing. It wasn't dumb by any stretch of the word.

"It is an honor to take in your presence, our lord."

Megatron watched as Tarn and Kaon entered the room, as well as a creature he had not seen in a long time.  A turbofox?  He had heard from the reports that Kaon had picked up a pet at some point of time, training it to be just as vicious as any member of the DJD.  It was impressive to be honest.

The two members of the Decepticon Justice Division bowed before him, the tyrant impressed that the Pet actually followed suit.  It really was a quick learner.

"Arise."  Megatron stared at the three from his seat, not showing any signs of getting to his peds.  "I see Tarn has called for you, Kaon.. and I admit that it is good to see that you have arrived with little trouble.  I take it this creature beside you is the 'Pet' I have read in Tarn's reports?"  Megatron looked to the Pet once more.

"Show me what it can do."

Nucleon? Tarn’s optics narrowed at the suggestion. Indeed, they all rather enjoyed the rush of it, but it was a limited resource with a very distinct purpose. One that would be determined by Lord Megatron now that he had resurfaced for Tarn to speak with. It was good that Kaon had reminded him.

Rising to his feet when Megatron gave them leave to do so, Tarn considered him where he sat in his throne. His optics trailed to Kaon, however, as Lord Megatron began to address him. He wanted a demonstration of the Pet’s capabilities.

Tarn looked to Kaon and nodded, extending him further authorization to do whatever he saw fit in order to demonstrate the usefulness of the beast. Tarn, for his part, wished to disclose the sensitive matter of the nucleon to Megatron here and now while the bridge was unmanned. It was a matter for his audios only. Well, apart from those who knew of it already.

Ah, he’d have to remind Kaon not to speak so freely of it aboard the warship.

Kaon stood, with good measure seeming to silently command the Pet to rise with him. If one paid the right attention to him, they would notice that he spelled it out along the chain: "rise". He had silent commands down to an art, or down to a science even. In the chaos of the battlefield, it had proven effective for him to teach the Pet silent commands, in case he could not be heard.

"Of course, Lord Megatron."

He could hear something silent skittering along the ground; a single simple cleaning drone or a scraplet perhaps? It was a cleaning drone, of course, as a warship could get fairly messy. He could not see it, but he didn't need to. Without even having to point, he spoke a simple command.

"Attack."

Almost immediately, the Pet had seized the cleaning drone, mauling it apart with a horrifying ferocity. Now a simple drone was one thing, easily broken. But as they had no vehicons on the bridge of the ship right now, it would have to do.

"This is by no means the full extent of the Pet's abilities." Kaon gave a small, simple smile. "It is merely a taste of what he is capable of doing. Imagine the drone as a traitor."

Megatron watched as Kaon sent the Pet after one of the cleaning drones. At first he was displeased by the action, but just seeing how savagely the Pet took apart the drone..? Imagine what it could do to an Autobot.. or even a traitor. Thoughts of Dreadwing encountering this alleged 'Sparkeater' filled his processor.

It caused him to smirk.

"Yes. I believe you have done a wonderful job of re-educating this beast. The reports were not incorrect after all, not that I had reason to doubt. I look forward to seeing this creature's full potential."

Just what was it's full potential, anyway? It wasn't very often a turbofox was domesticated in such an unusual fashion, but it favored the Decepticon Justice Division wonderfully.

"Tarn. I will allow Kaon to keep the beast, and perhaps I will be as generous to deliver to it the subject to toy with. You may show Kaon to his quarters if either of you have nothing more to say."
