"Oh, wonderful. I was a little bit worried to be honest, but I'm sure I'll be safe. Hopefully, as you know, I'm not built for battle." She chuckled lightheartedly, continuing their waltz. She spun around with him, smiling brightly.
"Thank you, Tarn. I cant tell you how concerned I was," She paused, "I feel better now."
As the dance finished, she almost felt disappointed, but remained flamboyant and graceful, halting. She dipped her helm, then gazed back up at the tall mech. A faint blush resurfaced to her cheeks, nodding with a light laugh. "Flatterer," She teased, grinning, "Indeed, it was. And thanks."

“I’m sure you’ll not be in a position that compromises your safety,” Tarn assured her, stepping away and glancing to her work station, “There is limited use for engineers on the front lines, after all.”
He offered her a slight bow of his head at her words. “Not at all. I assure you, you are not being deceived. And it was my pleasure.”
Drawing out a datapad and briefly glancing through its contents, Tarn looked back to Lightspeed. “It has been a pleasure, my dear, but I best let you return to your work.” He nodded to her, turning away and beginning to move toward the door. “I suspect we shall see each other again soon enough.”

A small sigh escaped painted ruby red lips as she stretched out her arms, watching him read the datapad with curiosity. As soon as he looked away from its screen she drew back to attention and straightened, a bit disappointed he was leaving, but retaining a smiley, upbeat demeanor in order to not give that away.
"Yes, I should probably get back to work." Lightspeed agreed. She had all but forgotten she had to be working, the pleasurable encounter had wiped that from her memory, up until she was reminded of it again. She folded her arms behind her back, watching as he moved toward the door.
"I'd like that very much." Then, without another word, the engineer turned back to her work and resumed organizing.
