First Aid had been waiting for Blaster to return to their habsuite. He hadn't known that when he crash landed on this little organic planet, he would end up so happy... but here he was.

Hiding.

"Boo!" First Aid chirped, draped on Blaster like a rug.

Months has passed by since Blaster woke up, injured and confused on a rather strange planet. He would never have predicted that the medic who answered his call, found him, and fixed him...

... would be someone he gave his spark to (metaphorically) and would become his suitemate as well. In other words, co-habitating. Like a bonded couple, although not yet there either.

Blaster yelps as soon as he felt something- or a tiny someone- jump on his back and then quietly transform into a robot blanket. He laughs in response to that, rubbing the helm that is now using his shoulder as a pillow. "Hello to you too love." Blaster purrs at Aid, moving his head to apply a kiss to his medic love. "I hope you haven't been waiting for me for too long."

"Not too long," First Aid cooed, nuzzling against Blaster's neck. He felt like his spark was swelling and warm, a feeling he got whenever he was near Blaster. Primus, he adored this mech. Loved him, even.

"Come in bed and cuddle with me, I need to be close to you." First Aid was a very physical mech. He needed to show his affection through touch and closeness.

Blaster laughs, pulling Aid around so he can carry him- bridal or princess style, he found out it was called- to their shared berth. "Course you would like the berth, we do a lot of things there." A playful flicker of a wink as he set Aid down. "Although... there is one thing we haven't done yet..." Blaster seems shy about asking about this one for some reason, he looks away from Aid now.

First Aid rolled his eyes at the quip, reaching out his hand to tug at Blaster's so they would be on the bed together. And then Blaster's continued comment caused a frown to pull at First Aid's lips. He tilted his head, trying to think of what they haven't done that would make Blaster react like that. Yes, they had known each other for about a year, but they had accomplished a lot of 'firsts' in that short amount of time.

First date, first kiss, making it official, moving in together, saying I love you… so what had they not done yet that would make Blaster fluster?

"What haven't we done?"

That frown on Aid's face was too precious for Blaster to stand.

So he kisses that tiny frown a little bit before answering.

"I... honestly- this is to something I never done with anyone before. Ever." He looks down. "It is too personal and sacred to do so casually..."

"Aid, would you spark merge with me?"

First Aid purred at the kiss, enjoying the affection and closeness of it all.

And then he felt like his engine stalled. First Aid also had never spark merged before. It was an incredibly intimate step and First Aid now understood why Blaster had been flustered by the request.

But still, First Aid thought about how this mech made him feel every day since he joined the team. How safe he felt when he could fall asleep next to Blaster and how nice the day started when he woke up next to him. About how much First Aid loved Blaster. And he knew they hadn't known each other for very long, but…

First Aid wanted this. He hadn't known he wanted this until Blaster spoke, but now that he had…

"Yes, absolutely," First Aid said softly. "I've never done this before either…"

"Good, then it will be extra special for us." Blaster pulls Aid on his lap. "Sooo.." He said after a moment. "... do you have a clue on how to spark bond? I heard only rumors on how it is done."

Blaster wouldn't mind experimenting to figure it out though.

First Aid smiled, draping his arms across Blaster's shoulders as he leaned into touch nose-to-nose.

"No idea," he murmured, kissing Blaster's nose. "I guess we just..."

First Aid squirmed. It's not like he hasn't shown his spark to people before or not seen other's sparks. But merging was an entirely different story.

Well... here goes.

First Aid shyly let his chest compartments come back, exposing his spark. First Aid's spark was a soft blue with a gentle glow.

Blaster was surprised by Aid's pure boldness. He didn't expect Aid to be the first to show his spark, but there it was. It pulsed and radiated softly, much like the mech himself. After a moment of surprise and awe, he smiles and carefully removes his deck to open up his own chest compartment and reveal his own glow. It also is a standard blue, but it radiated an orange aura. It was frentic with energy.

"So... do we just... press our sparks together?"

First Aid shrugged at the question, watching Blaster's spark carefully. Delicate fingers stroked the edges of his spark casing, careful not to go too hard or cause pain.

"I think so," First Aid replied, biting his lower lip in anticipation. He leaned forward to kiss Blaster's lips before pressing his spark into Blaster's. Gently and subtly at first, only wisps of their sparks connecting and drawing a gasp from First Aid.

Blaster was not prepared for the rather forceful intrusion.

He gasped in utter shock as Aid just went for it, his spark resisting at it, a subtle squealing from his protesting spark. He pushed back Aid a bit as his spark sputtered wildly from the shock. He wasn't ready for that.

"I love you, but a little warning before you just dive in, please..." His vocalizer stuttered as he said this, trying to get himself together and calm down before trying again.

"Sorry," First Aid said nuzzling him. "You did say to just push our sparks together, so... I did. I didn't mean to startle you, I hadn't realized it would be that intense." He had kinda thought that was the go-ahead.

"Why don't you do it then? We could take it slower. Or do you want to stop for now?" 

He could understand if Blaster needed a proverbial 'breather'.

After a moment, Blaster nuzzled Aid sweetly back. "I was ruminating, theorizing on that." A small chuckle. "It's okay, apparently that seems to be a way to do it." A deep vent in and out, his spark settled again. "All right, I'm ready for you. Slowly love... slowly."
