Well, he was finally here, now what?
Chris really hadn't thought of the after part of this whole thing, admittedly. He'd gotten as far as "find the other half of his biology, and get help" but he didn't really think about what the after-effects would be. Their base was huge, he realized, and he was, for all effects a stranger, and a weird one at that. Did any of them even know of any other... Whatever he was? Were there even any others?
He thought of all of this as he stood in the "control room" examining the future tech. It was all fascinating to him, which he thought maybe it shouldn't be given he was supposed to be one of these... Giant robots. What did they call themselves? Cybertronians? Yeah that was right. But to be fair he'd known what he was for about twenty-four hours now so who could blame him?
The one thing he was trying to figure out was the giant thing that he found... Which he would eventually learn to be a space/ground bridge but right now looked like a giant doughnut hole. "Maybe it's like a TV or something," he murmured. "Do these guys even have TV?"

Wheeljack's expression pressed into a thin line. He had been working on an explosive for a future mission, especially if he were to encounter the Decepticon Justice Division. He gritted his denta into a huge grin while reassembling the explosive into an actually-devastating weapon.
He stalked closer to the human-sized fellow who had entered, his servos on his hips, a cocky look crossing his faceplates. "Do we even have what? I didn't quite catch that last part, kid." He had an amused look glinting into his optics; he leaned forward to get a better view.
"Something up?" Well, to be fair he wasn't the usual humans that showed up. However, he hadn't seen Jack, Miko, or Raf in a while. The things they had left there were still there.

The arrival of a new voice made Chris jump out of his skin.
Spinning around, he noted the new mech and tried his best to straighten up. He wasn't sure who he was, but he was doing his best to act with these "Autobots" in a way that was respectful (a true challenge for a troublemaker). After all, they were the ones giving him somewhere to stay safe - and they could just as easily kick him to the curb if they wanted to.
"Oh, uh, nothing... I was just trying to figure out what this thing was," he noted pointing at the ground bridge rather dumbly. "I'm sort of new here so I'm trying to get a feel of this place. It's uh... Kind of my first time living in a place like this. I'm used to apartments and little houses, this is... Something else."
Shaking his head slightly to get a hold of himself, he took a deep breath. "Sorry, I'm uh, being rude. I'm Chris," he finally managed. "And you're...?"

Wheeljack had his servos on his hip-struts, an optic still quirked. Perhaps he seemed more authoritative in his size but he was really quite casual. He gave an interested quirk of his optical ridge and smirked.
"That would be the Groundbridge. Also known as the 'portal to faraway places'. If that makes sense." As the resident tech whiz of the Wreckers, of course Wheeljack would have to know his engineering and tech. "And I know that feeling. This planet is 'something else' to me. If that makes sense?"
He then rolled his neck and shrugged. "Nice to meet you, Chris. I'm Wheeljack, resident Wrecker, part time engineer, and the guy you go to when you need scrap blown up." His smirk took on a more cock-sure nature.

Oh wow just was defifinitley cooler than a tv.
Chris perked up a little at that, so this place could take you wherever you wanted to go? At least he assumed that was the case. He grinned a little at the mention of the Planet too. “Man that’s awesome. I can think of a few places I’d like to go in here. Once I get MECH off my butt. Starting with Hawaii,” he joked lightly, though it was the truth at the same time. “I can understand that. From what I’ve been hearing we come from something totally different. Planet-wise I mean.”
He then grinned. “Ohhhh so you like blowing stuff up too? Sweet! I bet you got all kind of explosives and stuff to do it! My dad used to let me throw live grenades for combat practice. Fun stuff, even if I once nearly blew off my hand,” he laughed a bit. “What’s a Wrecker though? Not sure I’ve heard of those yet.”

Hawaii, huh? Wheeljack could respect the kid's taste in locales. "Hawaii does sound cool, not going to lie. A seismically active area of a planet that never quite destroys itself?" He gave a pause. "You didn't hear me nerd on geology and you cannot prove it." He then cleared his vocalizer. "Yeah, Cybertron's its own kind of beautiful...when it's not dormant. You ever seen a metal planet glowing with a rainbow of light practically?"
He then gave a smirk. "I've got stuff that would be banned on this planet if the government knew about it" He then smirked. "Kid, you would BE a Wrecker. We're the ones who do the dirty fighting that no one else wants to do. The blowing things up. The dangerous missions." He then mused. "Easiest to say we're a branch of the Autobots who like to wreck and rule wherever the Decepticons show."

Chris grinned he’d never actually thought of it that way. But it did make it pretty cool at least. He looked thoughtful for a moment though on all that he had actually talked about between Hawaii and Cybertron. “Yeah, sounds pretty interesting when you think about it. Though hopefully we wouldn’t ever have to deal with a big eruption or anything,” he paused a moment, not knowing if Wheeljack knew who he was though. “I wish I could say I did. I mean I know one half of me comes from there, though. So maybe one day.”
Ohhh banned explosives? The devious grin on his face said volumes. “I’d say I could really use a hands on demonstration of such items for educational purposes solely,” a Wrecker huh? “Wow, really? I mean I always had a kind of affinity for swords, and guns, explosives. But I haven’t really ever had an outlet. You guys sound like my kind of people! Though I’m not sure about fighting uh... Decepticons?” He pointed out having not really heard of them before. Though he wouldn’t know it yet, Chris had more of a connection to the Wreckers than he or anyone yet knew.

Wheeljack smirked. "One day. One day you'll get to see it. I think the last time I saw it was from the Jackhammer. Before the war though. When I was still into science if that makes sense."
He then placed his servos on his hips. "Well of course not. You ain't ready for that part yet, kid. But hey, maybe with a little training." Was he inviting Chris into training? Perhaps!

Chris nodded, very interested. It was definitely something that captured his interest at least. The idea of seeing Cybertron, which he supposed was his real home planet in some ways. Since he now lived her it did make sense that he was a kid walking in two worlds that way. “Yeah, I bet it’s really cool. Honestly I always had like a million ideas of what another planet with life would be like.” He explained. “Though I definitely was not expecting this.” He laughed.
He let himself smirk a little at the thought of training. Oh yeah, he was all for training. Maybe one day he might even be able to be one of those things - even if he wasn’t sure of it himself. “Oh yeah! I think I’m supposed to start training soon,” he explained. “Though if I want to make this Wrecker thing happen. I don’t suppose it’d be too bad an idea to learn from someone as crazy as me.”
