Player Alias: Meezer
Character Name: Sagitta
Allegiance: Autobots
Appearance Description:
Sagitta is fairly small--exceptionally small, in fact--and doesn't quite have all her plating in. Nor does she have her full colors, but red and blue seem to have cropped up among the white. Even her cockpit seems to be getting shades of yellow. Her wing-panels at her shoulders are tiny and only able to really flick in response to her moods. Her optics are a bright blue.
Her frame itself seems to take the same slender frame style as her carrier's frame--an intentional design choice on Pharma's part in order to hide any hint of her parentage. He knows he can't hide everything but he knows he can hide any trace of Sagitta's sire's appearance in her own.
Personality:
By her very nature, Sagitta is inquisitive and curious, wanting to know about the world she's in after her spark and frame have recently coalesced into a coherent form. She's curious enough that she's even trying to figure out how to emulate others, especially her carrier. If her curiosity leads to danger, she tends to fight the urge to follow that curiosity again. Once bitten, twice shy.
She is extremely helpful, wanting to be able to help others. Even if it is not possible for her to actually help, she WANTS to so much that sometimes she even accidentally gets in the way while doing so. But it's not her being bad or trying to be bad. She is just that eager to help! She will do anything she thinks will help: cleaning, patting and chattering to try to comfort, getting out a mesh bandage and offering it.
She does seem to have a bit of an unstable temperament from her sire, but that has yet to be seen more...
Strengths + Weaknesses:
+/- Curiosity (Killed The Cat): Sagitta is naturally curious. She will do just about anything to learn more--be it trying to take something apart, watching someone/something for hours at a time, or following someone to see what they do. Because of her curiosity, she tends to learn quickly. However, at the same time, she tends to put herself in danger while trying to learn more.
+/- A Kind But Naive Spark: Sagitta is kindsparked to all she meets, perhaps due to her young age and relative inexperience with the world. It takes a lot to make her mistrust someone and she's known to follow sometimes the most dangerous bots--even someone like one the DJD (such as her sire). She often might drive her carrier and Ratchet to distraction with the naivete.
+/- Sparkling: On the one hand, being a Sparkling means she's quite fragile. One must be careful with her still-developing frame, especially given that she's on the smaller side and quite frail, possibly partly due to her own carrier's fragile physical and mental state. On the other hand, it makes her a bit more agile and able to fit into better hiding places. Her small size makes it easier for her to hide in places that even someone like Pharma can't dig into.
+/- It's Electric: Through spark lineage she inherited a certain affinity for electricity. It's strong, and she's learning how to use it. However, she doesn't quite have good control of it. It's easier to count how many times she's used it PURPOSELY on one hand than the numerous times she's accidentally discharged electricity.
Abilities:
Sagitta's only natural ability is electricity. She doesn't have good control of it but she does at the very least know how to discharge it when she needs to protect herself. She's not managed to make it too powerful yet so it's often only a short zap or a static shock.
Weaponry:
- Her toy datapad: Perhaps owing to the fact that Pharma insists on teaching her as best he can, Sagitta was given a toy datapad that is a little less prone to shattering on impact and has thick grips. Just don't get Sagitta mad enough to throw it.
- Pedes and Servos: Hey, just because hers are tiny doesn't mean she can't crack an optic or a ball bearing if you let her nail you there.
- Denta: Sagitta's a little bitey at times. Pharma knows better than to curb one of her methods of self-defense.
History:
Sagitta's beginnings were not exactly the most cheerful beginnings. She knows there's another one missing, and that she was the coward that hid. She knows her carrier was never all that fond of her sire and that they are from opposite sides of the war. There are rumors as to how she came to be, but Pharma will neither confirm nor deny.
All that is known is that despite the unhappy beginnings, Pharma chose to keep her. Perhaps it is because she reminds him that despite all the darkness in life, good can come of ill. Perhaps it is because she reminds him so much of Ratchet deep down. Perhaps still, it is his Vosian values or his religious nature to see that no innocent life is snuffed due to even the worst beginnings.
Regardless of why she was kept, she is eager to keep being the light in her carrier's life.
Roleplay/Writing Sample:
Blue optics darted up toward a lab bench. There had to be something interesting up here. Sagitta puffed her cheeks and pursed her tiny lips. Little servos scrambled for the nearest stool, which Pharma often pulled to the bench when he was low on energy and couldn't stand. She carefully started to climb up, soon on the seat of the stool.
A trio of laser scalpels, specially set up for a left-handed medic, rest to the left. She wasn't supposed to touch those--she learned that the hard way from having one accidentally cut her. She wasn't allowed to touch the big-bot datapads yet; they broke easier. However, she saw something green in a container.
Green looked delicious.
Tiny servos reached for the container, when Sagitta suddenly found herself being lifted and pulled away from it. She looked to see who had snatched her up, ready to nip at them for upsetting her. However, seeing her carrier, she flitted her wings softly and tilted her helm.
"Not good?"
Pharma shook his helm. "Not good. Let's get you something that isn't nasty and green."
"Okay!" She chirped, flitting her wings.
