Dylan looked thoughtful for a minute. The home usually got worried and buzzed his pre paid cell phone around nine. And given it was only seven... Well what they didn’t know wouldn’t hurt them. And Ratchet wasn’t around to scold him about it either. “Well, they can wait until nine before they start flipping out at me. Like I like to say “Glee club runs late”,” he admitted. “A couple hours wouldn’t hurt anything.” He added as he didn’t even hesitate to get on the bike.

At least he didn't have to leave just yet.
It felt a little odd having a human on her back, mainly because she had never been ridden before. So she was extra careful at first. She didn't want him to fall off or anything like that. But gradually she began to gain more confidence and with that came more and more speed. Ray sped up even more. She enjoyed the wind whistling past them as she drove. Once she reached a steady speed she relaxed a little.
"You enjoying the ride?" Ray asked.

"Man! This is so SICK!"
Dylan of course was having the time of his life. Mainly because it was his first time on the motorcycles he honestly drooled over. "Oh heck yeah, I am! You ride pretty dang slick," he explained honestly. "I'm just glad Ratchet isn't around to see this. He's probably going to kill me if he finds out - but worth it."
He then added rather mischievously. "How fast can this thing go anyway?"

"You're about to find out!" Ray exclaimed as she finally put metal to the petal. "HOLD ON!"
The whistling of the wind was drowned out by the roar of her engine as she zoomed at full speed. She tipped her front wheel upward and popped a wheelie. This was a little trick she learned in Jasper. After a few seconds she was once again back on two wheels, but still kept going fast. Ray couldn't remember the last time she had had this much fun.

Oh yeah, Ratchet was going to murder him - but he didn't care. Heck, maybe he'd be too busy with his sparkling to notice. One could hope anyway? Yeah, one could definitely, definitely hope. "OK, you, my friend, are my kind of crazy!" He told her rather bluntly, though in a joking way.

"Si, yo estoy muy loca!(yes, I'm very crazy)" Ray laughed in response. "I'm glad you're having fun, but let's slow down a bit."
She slowed her pace so that the drive was more peaceful than rushed. The calm cool air soothed her engines.
"So. How did you meet the Autobots to begin with?" Ray asked with genuine curiosity. He wasn't a techno-organic. She knew that. So he must've seen another Autobot at some point to get here.

Dylan breathed out a deep sigh, leaning forward a bit.
Oh, how did he meet the Autobots? Now that was definitely a story. He shrugged a bit playing it off kinda cool. "I kinda... Pissed Ratchet off. You see, I do other kinds of art too. And when he was recharging... Well, he was an easy target," he explained, honesty in his voice. "Ratchet kinda flipped at me. So he had to drag me into this. Not that I mind - that's when my life started to kinda not suck."

"Wait. You tagged Ratchet. The medic? No way."
She couldn't believe her audio receptors. She attempted to keep her laughter under control but it just erupted into a small chorus of giggles. Never had she ever heard of a human tagging an Autobot before. Or any Cybertonian at all for that matter.
"You're just lucky it wasn't a decepticon. So is Ratchet like your Autobot guardian or do you not have one officially?"

"Yep! Pretty proud of that one myself," Dylan grinned from ear-to-ear about it, not even feeling too bad about it. "I mean... Kind of? More like a mentor. He's trying to help get me on a better path I guess. I ran into a bit of trouble a couple years ago. Ended up in juvie." he explained.

"You know. If you ever need a full time Autobot guardian I'd be happy to fill that role," Ray replied quietly. "That is if Ratchet is to busy to do so! It would just be safer for you to have one is all."
The drive continued for a while longer until she eventually stopped and parked herself. She didn't realize how dark it had gotten. You could see all the countless stars. It almost reminded her of her nights back at Cybertron, before the war anyway.
"Wow. Would you look at that? I'm so focused on the scenery on the Earth's ground that I forget that the sky is just as beautiful as well."

"Sure thing, I could definitely at least use the ride sometimes. Given Ratchet has his kid now and all," Dylan explained - it never hurt to have another Autobot buddy around after all. "Yeah, the stars are something else. Back when I was a kid I wanted to go up there. See what else is out there. Kind of ironic because I found out without ever leaving my hometown." He joked.

"I remember being your age. I had big dreams like those. I still do, just not as often" Ray commented. It was true, she had some crazy dreams when she was a youngling. She wanted to travel the whole galaxy. But that was before the war. Before all the chaos. She tried to block out the thoughts. She didn't like to remember. She frowned, not the Dylan would be able to tell at least not in her alt mode.
"So what do you plan on being when you grow up?" Ray asked wanting to distract her mind from the memories.

Dylan thought about that for a long moment. What did he want to be when he grew up? Back in the day he had believed he didn’t have a chance at a real future - but the closer he got to Ratchet the more he felt he may have a chance. “I guess I don’t totally know yet. I know I want to do something with my art, but I’m not sure what,” he admitted. “Maybe an artist or cartoonist. I didn’t think about that kind of stuff for a long time before I met Ratchet.”

"That makes sense," Ray responded. She could see that happening. It was hard to believe that this young human was ever a juvenile at all. He seemed nice enough and well-behaved. He almost reminded her of her friends from Cybertron.
"Hey. Do you think you can draw me too?" Ray asked eagerly. She wanted to see his skills in action.

Dylan hummed a little, nodding his head. Of course he could do that, he took every chance I try and draw or paint one of the Cybertronians. A part of him wanted to do something with them. Maybe a comic book, because people would see it as fiction and save them from being exposed. “Totally I’m always up for drawing something new. Never hurts to practice.”
