"Well, Mr. Bouncer," said Chronon, "You're going to have to try harder than that."
A quick simulation told Chronon the angle at which the trailer was going to hit her. She turned herself so her back faced the trailer. She was tempted to steady herself, but she knew she would have to take the fall to do the most damage. She held her shield low by her side, bladed edge perpendicular to the trailer.
Chronon would trip if the trailer slammed into her, the spikes on her lower legs stabbing into it and wrenching it as she fell, warping it and greatly damaging Motormaster.
Regardless of whether she succeeded, Chronon would pull out her EMP blaster and fire a few quick blasts at Motormaster and Wildbreak.
An obnoxiously loud screech was the direct result of Motormaster colliding with Chronon, namely resulting from her shield scraping against him. Luckily for him, the spikes only caused a bit of surface damage, and he was built tough enough to tank the incoming blasts with only a slight jitter in his motor functions as a result.
The truck transformed after sweeping out the rest of its arc, turning back to face the Autobots. Motormaster grimaced as he noticed a hole punched through his shoulder plates by the shield's spikes, growling back at Chronon.
"So that's how you wanna play it? Fine. Megatron likes it when we put on a show for the locals, so you'll be going out with a bang."
Motormaster drew his Gladius again, thrusting it up towards the sky. The blade's electrical polarity field kicked in with a small spark, drawing a healthy bunch of storm clouds just overhead. With a devilish smile, the Decepticon called down a bolt of lightning from the sky, catching it with his sword. The cascading arcs of electricity superheated the blade's surface, crackling loudly like the applause of an eager audience.
"I hope you're watching, Starboy, the main event's coming up once I slag this trash in front of me!" he roared, pointing the blade towards Chronon and her shield. His first motion was to swing the blade in a wide horizontal arc, sending out a voltaic wave of energy towards Chronon.
Before long the good vibrations would stop and Star Saber would be able to resume his attack. Maybe if Wildbreak was lucky, the mech he was fighting would think twice before attacking again and would just not.
Smiling at his thought, he didn't even stop to think that Chronon was shooting at him as well as Motormaster.
He shrieked as he was hit in the arm, staring at Chronon bewilderingly. "You shot me. You actually shot me!" Quickly he rubbed over the wound, frowning as he noticed the mark it had left. Oh.. Knock Out was not going to like this, and to be honest the Stunticon wasn't happy about his paint job being wrecked. "You two are horrible party guests, so ya know. Think we're gonna have to revoke those, uh.. invitations. Kicking you both outta the party, right boss?"
Pulling out his blaster (finally), he shot a couple rounds at the two party crashers.
Star Saber Gabe a smirk at Motormaster who was getting heated. Then again when didn’t he? Making a “heh” sound, he prepared for the blast shot his way. It scrapped his shoulder panel and hurt a bit but was not too bad at the very least. “I’m sure you’d both love to kick us out. But you’re certainly not going to,” he leapt forward and decided to pull his own surprise offense. Putting one sword away he pulled his own blaster without warning and fired off a volley of shots hoping the close range would help.
“And as for you Motormaster. I don’t exactly like watching someone getting beaten down. Decepticon or not,” without warning he flung one of his blades straight for Motormaster, aiming for the upper chest in hopes it would strike him hard. “But who says we have to wait for he “main event”?”
Chronon looked on incredulously at Motormaster's lightning show. She stabbed her shield into the ground in front of her and backed off. The electric attack slammed into her shield, which conducted it into the ground.
"I take it you aren't a physicist," Chronon quipped from behind her shield. She fired a few more EMP rounds at Motormaster as she heard a blaster shot from behind. She turned, cooling down her upper arm with her cooling system. The energon blast still burned a small hole in her outermost layer of armor though, which would be a pain to fix. She aimed at Wildbreak and shot at him again. The EMP should paralyze the body part if it hit the same part twice, but any other shots taken should just feel numb.
Motormaster was one big-aft blunt instrument, but so much more. Chronon could defend herself against virtually any of his attacks from the front, without question. She was unable to defend Star Saber from attacks launched at just the right angles, though. Neither could she properly defend against both himself and Wildbreak at the same time, either. The Autobots were going to be taken down by their own tactical deficiencies, and Motormaster would see to it personally.
He could practically see Star Saber's blade coming a mile away, and effortlessly cast it off to the side with a swipe of his own mighty sword, advancing forwards several feet. While Chronon opened fire on Wildbreak, Motor let loose a pair of missiles from his shoulder cannons, although they each had a separate target. While he dodged the Autobot's cannon fire, he set up a missile to hit Chronon in the flank, and Star Saber head on.
Wildbreak prepared to fire his blaster at Chronon once more, only for further EMP blasts to once again hit him in the arm. He tried to fire his blaster a couple of times, but just couldn't get his arm to move. It had been the second time that arm was struck, and little Breaky was not happy.
"Hey, that's my shooting arm! I need that to shoot things!"
He pried the weapon out of his paralyzed arm, though he wasn't such a steady shot using his left. He'd certainly give it a try though by firing shots at Chronon.
"Boss, I think they're trying to kick us out of our own party! What're we gonna do, Boss?"
So it was his shooting arm, eh? Well that made this a lot easier, didn’t it? With a giant grin on his face, he slid forward and slashed again at Wildbreak. Was it a cheap shot? Maybe. But sometimes to get the upper hand one had to take the shots that presented itself. And as long as he never delivered a fatal, or horrible blow Star Saber still considered himself going by his code of honor.
“Ah, wanna leave so soon?” He commented with a smirk. “Come on now, you’re the hosts! You can’t leave until everyone’s gone home!”
He prepared to leap over Wildbreak no matter what his next reaction was. Hoping he might be able to go for a direct strike at Motormaster when he least expected it.
Chronon saw the missile coming from a metaphorical mile away. She stored her EMP blaster away andlowered her servo's temperature while holding into her shield, a thin layer of solid air crystallizing onto its surface. She held her shield in front of the missile with both servos. It exploded on her shield, sending her back a few meters.
Chronon launched herself towards Motormaster, chilling her back to prevent shots from doing too much damage. She swerved at the last second, dashing around him, grabbing Star Saber's fallen sword, turning around and slashing at Motormaster's large shoulders.
It was safe to say that Motormaster was tired of having his own bravado, in the shape of puns, thrown back at him. He bellowed back to Wildbreak, "We're going to kill them, you numbspark!" The Decepticon's blade crackled with energy as he reared it up to strike out at Chronon once again, this time directly. He was going to thrash her, then finish up by plowing Star Saber's smug-aft face into the pavement. Thus spoketh the motor master.
Motormaster underestimated her speed. Just as his powerful blade was on the cusp of slicing her in half, Chronon dodged. Before he could even turn to match her, the Autobot got in a clean hit. Her attacks were wild, but still effective. By the end of it, Motormaster's weapon arm hung half-attached down by his side. He roared out in pain, and spun around to send a massive fist straight for her in retaliation.
