The cave felt, enclosing to this flier. Yet she crouched a bit more to give herself more headroom. She gazed at the frowning Sunstreaker and turned her visor to gaze at the crevice, "In there I see.." She did get the tail end of not harming her. So she will abide by the shiny mech's words.
She scooted closer to inspect the crevice, and at that moment her head popped out like a snail peeking from it's shell. Her blades quivered some at that sight. That respirator of hers was picking up more as she watched the... thing crawl out of the hole like a monster from a horror movie. Then it spoke to Sunstreaker.
"Sentient? Would sentient beings ask for.. a camera was it? Or even give you reasoning as to why."
With that said, she sat down with her knees pulled up to her chest as best she could. That helmet of hers hiding any cringing facial expressions from when the hooman began to wipe clean that icky red. Could that be acid?
Sunstreaker forced himself to remain still, sitting with his legs folded, elbow planted on one knee, cheek resting against his fist. His optics remained fixed on the crack in the wall. He wanted to snatch her and get the slag gone, but, that hadn't worked the first time. He barely glanced at the femme as she settled next to him. At least he had backup. The little monster wouldn't get away so easy now.
He watched as the human seemed to take solace in the whole 'not squishing' thing and poked its head out. He cocked an optic ridge at the human as it spoke, emerging fully from its hiding spot.
"Autobots, from Cybertron," he said shortly, "You're fragging lucky we aren't from the other faction. They would kill you," the ending sentence was said a bit nastily, his temper showing through again.
His faceplates twisted in a sneer at the thought of the Decepticons. Filthy slaggers.
The question of their sentience caused him to scoff, almost in amusement. Really? After all that, she was doubting their ability to think and reason freely? His gaze flickered to Rotor as she answered.
"The slag kind of a question is that?" he followed, "Do you run around asking everyone if they're sentient? Primus."
His expression shifted to disgust as she began to clean what appeared to be a minor injury. Ew. It was leaking with organic fluids. He was definitely not touching it now.
"Okay. Message received," Didi mumbled to herself as she placed the dirty tissues to the side.
So he was and Autobot, from a place called Cybertron? Had this been coming from another human she would've laughed, but here she was seeing the whole thing for a herself. A living, robotic organism. She heard him mention other factions. So there were more of these things? He had said it with a special kind of hatred as well, whatever this other faction was must've been pretty bad.
She watched the golden robot's face shift to one of disgust. Was it something she did? Was it her? She never even considered the fact that these aliens might find her disgusting. And it made perfect sense too. Them being robot organisms would probably mean that her soft fleshy exterior would seem very unlikable. It was almost hilarious to Didi that these things were put off by the sight of blood, from a simple cut no less. It wasn't like she had broken a limb or anything.
"Oh! How rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Diana or Didi for short" Didi said as she dusted off her clothes. She straightened her posture and tried her best to be as polite as humanly possible. "What are your names?"
Remember, a proper lady always looks someone in the eye while speaking. Never ever break eye contact! Understood? She could hear her grandmother's words echoing in her head. And just like she had been taught she looked the robot in the eye. They hadn't made a move to harm her, so the least she could do was be polite.
Such a strange little creature, able to adjust her volume so well. She assumed that all humans had either a loud mouth or let their machines make all their noises. She tilted her helm a bit to watch the human speak still and introduce herself.
She turned her helm to Sunstreaker to see what kind of scowl he would make to make his Autobot insignia a face of pure happiness. She was curious about his choice in revealing his name. Though she turned to the human to see her taking a position to look them in the eyes.
How will these two get out of this? A gentle exhale into her respirator was given as she draws her knees in closer before raising her voice, "So Diana... I am not entirely sure if we are obligated to reveal our names. Least you want to remain safe. Typically the less you know of us, it is far greater than what could have been."
She unfurled her legs and rose up to stand upright, aiming to not huddle up before a human. She was just tall enough that her helmet touched the ceiling and that made her duck instinctively with that respirator picking up.
Sunstreaker managed not to scoff. Seriously? After all that, she was worried about introductions? He shifted, glancing at Rotor. Well, she was handling this much better than he was, obviously. He'd been ready to tell the little creature to piss off. He wasn't about to give anything more identifying than he already had. At least the femme was polite.
He gave a nod in response to what she told the human.
"We may not kill you, but if certain people found out you know about us..." he trailed off darkly.
After a moment, he stood as well, having to duck down in this section of the cave. His scowl deepened. Damn, he hated this. It would be better for both of them to move outside.
"We'll move outside, won't we, Diana? Out of the fragging nasty cave." he had the thought that calling her 'squishy' again wouldn't make her any more inclined to come along. And he was in no mood to chase her again, "And then we're going to continue our chat."
"I see," Didi muttered under her breath. They hadn't given her their names, perhaps they couldn't. At least not yet. But she couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed.
Her eyes flickered between the golden and green robot before keep her eyes on the feminine. She seemed afraid. It was obvious that none of them, including Didi herself was fond of the cave. She hadn't meant to stay here so long. In all honesty this cave expedition was only supposed to last thirty to forty-five minutes, or and hours at worst. She was supposed to be home by now, although she highly doubted that her father would miss her presence yet. He was probably still working.
"Of course we can leave if it makes you more comfortable," Didi replied to the feminine robot as she began to walk toward the exit. "Do other humans know of your existence?"
Didi had remembered the golden robot mentioning other humans. Perhaps there were more humans that knew of their existence, but it never hurt to ask. And with that one questions more questions began to flow.
"How did you get here? What's your planet like? Are you adjusting well to Earth thus far?" Didi asked as she looked at the bots once again. She wanted to ask more questions, but she had to start of small. Her hands itched to take out her notebook and record this but she knew that they would demand to take it from her. She would just have to memorize as many details as humanly possible and hope for the best.
Well Rotor was the first to take lead and guide them back out of the cave. Occasionally ducking and digging her feet in to not slide. Until they had come to the open to where she jogged right on out, not caring if all the trees and wildlife saw her. She needed to get out and stretch and have her feet not stuck into the dirt. Even breathing air out here was a million times better.
Typical fliers.
Now the questions began to come in and that familiar visor showed the reflection of Didi, "Undoubtedly they know of us. We're kinda as large as buildings here." She has only seen houses and homes and not the skyscrapers of cities. "Yet I think those few individuals saying they saw something big like us could dismiss us as military experiments or so outlandish that it was a joke." She crossed her arms and rolled her massive shoulder guard that appeared to be a military helicopter cockpit. Hide in the best possible place with nods to the impressive weapons she totes.
She does look to Sunstreaker to see what he will say of other humans knowing of them. She made sure not to reveal too much of the Giant Robot Fight Club.
Then she gazed back to the small human, "Earth is.. rather good on my joints." She chose not to answer the first two questions to avoid giving away too much.
Sunstreaker stepped out of the cave, standing up to his full towering height. He wasn't the biggest bot, but, he saw still very large. This was a result of the tallness of his natural frame and the combat mods that had been added since. He looked down at himself, a disgusted scowl appearing on his faceplates when he saw the dirt, grime, scratches, and nicks that had come of his cave excursion. He hissed a rather vulgar curse in Cybertronian, looking back at his aft. Mud everywhere. What a horrendous little planet this was. It was murder on a mech's paintjob.
He glanced at Rotor as she replied to the human's question, shrugging in response to her questioning glance. He wouldn't have told the squishy anything personally, but, if she wanted to answer the questions, fine.
"I fell from the fragging sky," he groused in response to her other questions, "It hurt like pit. And I hate this slagging planet. It leaves organic matter all over my plating."
He looked down again, shuddering. Oh, Primus, it was in his seams. He needed the washracks. Now. And he couldn't get there because of this fleshie creature.
"This will be a slag of a lot easier if you delete that fragging photo and just forget you ever saw us," he growled, his temper flaring again.
To make matters worse, his spark was starting to hurt again. A side effect of his separation from Sideswipe. The pain had been getting worse. First, it was a near-constant ache, which he'd gotten used to. Lately though, the pain had been worsening. Not a good sign. If it continued, he would likely enter spark failure at some point. Without his twin, he really would die.
The painful reminder in his chassis only served to worsen his mood. His expression was more thunderous than usual. A shame, really. He had a very handsome visage. It was just that it was usually marred by anger.
Didi turned away from the feminine bot once she stepped outside the cave and lifted her head up to the sky. The stars were already twinkling brightly in the sky as a cold gust of wind whipped at the small girl. It was much colder than she had originally anticipated, however this did not stop her form listening closely to the green robots words. She once again turned to face the fembot nodding in understanding as she took in this new information.
"Glad to hear that you like Earth thus far --" Didi was going to say more but never got the chance too once the golden bot began to rant about Earth's less desirable traits. His sudden burst of temper startled her a bit as she flinched away from golden robot. It was obvious he felt very. . . strongly about her home planet. "Oh I see. I'm sorry you've had such an unpleasant experience thus far."
Didi tried her best to keep her composure but she couldn't help but be intimidated, but her fear ebbed away when she was once again reminded of the photo that she took. "Ah! Yes! I almost forgot." Grabbing her phone form her bag she took one last look at the picture before deleting it.
"There. See? It's gone." She said as she turned the screen towards the golden robot. "Is that all that you needed. Because unless there's more I should probably get going. My father will eventually take a break from his work and he will not be pleased once he notices my absence."
Her visor reflected the human for a moment before she nodded, soon gazing upwards to admire the open air. Then she noticed something. All these stars. They're all jumbled! What happened to her constellations? Her helm moved to and fro each star point. To a human, this was their night sky. For a Cybertronian, everything has moved places.
"Earth's good on the joints but terrifying with it's stars"
Her attention snapped back to the two. A little awe struck now and feeling much smaller. That made the blades on her hip shuffle a bit in a noisy matter. Though she does still them when that phone was pulled free to show off the last image and it was being deleted. Finally, she could rela... nevermind, now they gotta get a human back.
She looked to Sunstreaker then back to Didi with a dip of the helm, "Are you able to make it there in time so no one notices your absence?"
Sunstreaker raised one optic ridge. What was she, the resident ambassador? Being apologized to actually took him aback. People usually reacted to him with some form of aggression or fled his presence. They didn't...try to sooth his temper. Well, no one but Sideswipe had ever done that.
His scowl slid away just slightly when she showed how she was deleting the photo. Finally. This whole thing had been a pain the aft. And she was going home. Good. He was going back to base and then-
He paused, optics narrowing at Rotor's question to the human. What was that look? Did she...? Oh slag no. He didn't give a flying frag if she got home unnoticed, she could get on her little two wheeled contraption and ride off into the distance. He was not carrying some grimy organic that had just been oozing a few kliks ago. His interior would be ruined!
The scowl returned full force.
"If not, you'd better have a damned good excuse, squishy. Because you tell anyone about us, and you'll have me to deal with."
Didi shifted uncomfortably under the scowl of the golden bot. In truth, she wasn’t sure if she would make it in time. But she was in no way comfortable traveling inside a sentient car. As for lying, that wasn’t an option for her either. To her family she was an open book, not because she shared every experience she had with her family, she was just a terrible liar. If her father caught her in a lie she would be in deep trouble. Her father was a no nonsense man and wouldn’t stand for it. Her stomach turned uncomfortably thinking about it. He would interrogate her like a felon until she gave in. And just like the golden one had said, telling her father about them wasn’t an option.
She pushed back her sleeve and glanced at her watch, one of the few gifts her father had given her. It was a high tech watch from his company M.E.C.H, that much was obvious since the brand was on the wrist band of said watch. It was getting late. She chewed her lip nervously.
“I'm not sure. I can get home, but not on time. Then my father will ask questions. As for lying,” She paused for a moment pulling her sleeve back down over he watch. “I’m not very. . . Good at that.”
It took a moment for her to realize what sort of trouble she was in. Click click click went the clock inside of her head before it clunked. Her helm shifted back a bit as she ponders, looking back to the cave then to Didi.
A slow rub her of her covered chin was shown as ideas came to mind. Then she looked out to the place that Didi came from, "An idea... But it requires us keeping your bag. She lets them wonder a bit and soon looked back to the human, only to squat with an open hand held out to her, "You can go back and say to your dad you lost your bag when you came out here.. We did find you in that cave with all those nice looking rocks that you wanted to keep. But on your way you lost your bag. How believe you can make that? You said you sucked. But the real reason was two bullies took your bag and stuff calling you a rock head. Ehh ehh? Pretty good! A half truth followed with a truth! Then maybe you can come back to get your bag back?" She looked at Sunstreaker to see how he was reacting to this on the spot scheme.
Sunstreaker almost groaned aloud. Of course she wasn't good at lying. This was getting better and better. His optics darted to the contraption the human glanced at on her wrist. M.E.C.H. He gave a quiet scoff. Humans obviously didn't know a mech if they saw one. And what the frag was that anyway? A quick scan revealed it to be a chronometer of some sort. Humans didn't have internal chronometers? Primus, could they get any more pathetic?!
He glanced at Rotor as she began to speak. As she did so, his scowl turned into the barest of smirks. If bullying was needed, he was just the bot for the job.
"That's pretty good," he admitted, "I can even call you names if you want. For realism."
Amusement shone in his optics. Though, how well humans could read it was unknown.
Didi listened to the plan, calculating its possibility of success in her head. It was possible that it would work. Especially after working for so long. She could say that her bag was taken by some street thugs getting home, and that they sped off in a vehicle with no plates which would be true. Just as long as she kept I Constance with her father it may just work out in her favor. She glanced down in her bag. She had her notebook in there, not to mention that sample of that crystal from inside the cave. Her entire goal for even coming out here was to collect this sample, but if she was to pull this off then she was just going to have to wait another day to analyze the odd crystal.
“That plan sounds feasible,” She finally answered after a moment. She then turned to the golden bot, amusement shining in her eyes. “Name calling eh? As lovely as that sounds I’m going to have to decline.”
The girl took off her bag holding up to the green bot. “When should I come back for it? Oh! And please, please be gentle with it.”
