Crashing upon this strange planet was something of an experience. Sv-19 had never seen anything the likes of this wasteland. It was as if he was stepping in the Sea of Rust—only there was no litter of carcasses, or ruins of great cities or battles. It was a completely clean and beautiful landscape without any visible resources that might prove of use. Aside from the occasional giant boulder, their seemed to be little else for good cover. Sv-19 had journeyed away from his crash site, taking temporary refuge behind one of the large boulders. Kneeling to the ground, he commenced inspecting his weaponry. “Scans indicate biological life forms populate the nearby urban area.” The AI who downloaded itself into his HUD broke the silence. “Very well. Caze. Do you have a status on any of my brethren?” Sv-19 asked, "Negative. You were the only functional member out of your group before crash.” Caze replied monotonously. “Why is that?” Sv-19 probed for an answer as he unsheathed on of his favorite throwing knives, inspecting it before he began to sharpen it upon his fore-arm. “Energon supplies were low.” Caze answered briskly, causing SV-19 to blink. He was not on Velocitron, as his original objective had lead him to believe he would land with his brothers. His brothers were now all dead, except him. Sv-19 continued sharpening his knife quietly, as Caze continued. “The shuttle from which you ejected from has crashed. It is stable enough for me to reside within it. I shall reside within it, dormant until I am repaired or can access another computer system.” Caze said. “Until further notice, your orders are to find an alternate mode and blend in with your surroundings until another Cybertronian contact is established once more. Good luck, SV-19.” The AI ended, before SV-19 found the only thing left that he could listen to was the sound of his blade trailing across his arm.
Stranded on a planet without a mission, save the small order of remaining low profile. Sv-19 withheld a sigh, sheathing his knife soundlessly. He’d find an alternate mode first. If there was an urban area far off, and he could see buildings from this distance, it meant the civilization that walked upon this planet were somewhat sophisticated. Which meant on the bright side, they would have a decent kind of transportation mobile, or some device he could use to get around unseen. The sound of an engine roaring in the backround caused the mech to keen his ears. It was a more calmed down version of what Cybertronians used for their car-based alternate modes.
Slowly, SV-19 peered from behind his rock at the incoming vehicle. It was a black hotrod, low to the ground, with rectangular headlights as well as a trapezoid like-front. A spoiler was visible upon its’ back, as it drove upon a smooth surface Sv-19 identified as a roadway. Sv-19’s own shoulder wheels spun in slight anticipation. His HUD read the car was driving at 80 miles per hour at the moment, gaining quickly. It was clear by the car’s chassis that much more potential for speed was promised. It was somewhat more stylish then some of the standard boxy alt modes of the other ground force vehicons, its engine was quiet enough to suit black ops purposes. Even if he’d heard it, he could tell a calmer engine when he heard one. As the vehicle gained, Sv-19 released a ray-like wall, webbed with miniature luminescent squares. The vehicle passed through the field without stopping, the driver within wearing sunglasses as his boisterous music played, oblivious to Sv-19’s action.
The vehicle passed by.
<alternate mode acquired.
