Characters:Soundwave Location: Brazilian Rain Forest, South America Content Warnings: mild language and violence Plot Summary: After landing on Earth Ravage has found himself captured by a group of humans during his efforts to make contact with other Decepticons.
Well, this was fragging fantastic! How was it that he, one of the best spies in the Decepticon ranks, managed to get himself caught by some stupid organic local of this backwater planet?! It was ridiculous. And worse, the male was too stupid to realize he was most certainly not some before unknown natural species of leopard. He had red optics, for Primus sake! It was only because he was stuck in this mode, that his comms were mangled, and that the organic had realized he was stronger and smarter than the average wildlife that he was even still here. Inside an electrified fence like some dumb animal!
A bigger Decepticon would just get a shock from the fence, but a mech Ravage's size would destroy systems if he hit it too many times. Which he'd figured out when he'd tried to escape and the resulting current melted his transformation cog. At least he was in a mode he could defend himself in. The squishy had already learned the hard way that he was viscous. He'd flayed the male's arm open with his claws, and took great delight in watching him bleed. If he wasn't certain the squishy would ignore even the most obvious signs that he wasn't some 'new discovery' that he planned to put into something called a 'zoo', he'd have raved at the man by now.
That wasn't to say he wasn't fighting against this confinement, quite the opposite. He'd clawed the ground so much there were gouges in the soil, but the man had poked him with something that emitted electricity. He thought he might have heard it called a 'cattle prod' but wasn't sure. He'd also shredded anything that tried to come into his domain. Including the female leopard they'd thrown in with him, probably in some disgusting attempt to get him to breed with it, of all things. Nope. Her corpse was on the far side of the pin, buried since he'd gotten tired of the offensive stench. He'd also killed two of the male's fellows before they'd gotten him in here, in his initial attempt to take the camp. He'd get scolded later for letting himself get into this predicament, but he'd learn from it. Which was more than he could say for some Decepticons.
But, his ace in the hole, was the SOS beacon he'd flung at the device he'd come here for in the first place. They had some sort of long range device, which with the beacon, was changed into a strong transmitter. It was only a matter of time. And then, oh and then, chaos would reign supreme.
"Soon." He growled the word, choosing to speak in his own language since the delusional male wouldn't care even if he did hear him using intelligent speech patterns. "Gloat over your prize for now, fleshling. Soon you'll see what happens to those that think they have the right to contain me."
Ravage, despite his pride, had called and asked for help. With any luck, it'd be Soundwave who showed and not some smarmy slagger like Starscream.
A human rolled up in a jeep, blaring music aloud. The human didn't have a care in the world if it disturbed any around. Nor did he care if his new gadgets would hurt.
I see a red door and I want to paint it black. No colors anymore I want them to turn black.
One of the gadgets was a beefier cattle prod swung over his shoulders and a bag of clinking metallic sounds. He dropped the bag down beside him before setting up his massive cattle prod. This looked like it will incapacitate Ravage with how sharp it was! Let alone the battery he went back to fetch.
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes, I have to turn my head until my darkness goes
The human made a sickle of amusement as he fastened his hyper powered prod for the beast within the cage before him. He even laughed jeered at how easy this will be and even kicked open his bag.
I see a line of cars and they're all painted black, With flowers and my love both never to come back.... Come Back.... Come Back... Come Back
The male turned when the music turned wonky and started to loop. Then suddenly it changed to a different song entirely! From what he wanted painted black was now something much more sinister in topic but upbeat in music. Even their phones and other cars began to start playing the same song...
Welcome to the Jungle, We got fun and games We got everything you want honey, We know the names... If you got the money honey we got your disease!
Watch it bring you to your shananana knees knees I Wanna Watch You Bleed
The male was utterly confused at the alien robotic voice coming not his jeep, but all their rides! The entire flock was spooked as the song kept going and getting louder.
Suddenly
An ear piercing explosion occurred, sending a vehicle topping through the air. Then another explosion happened and that vehicle rolled over.
You Better Not Take It From Me... A thousand little geysers of dirt exploded upwards as rapid fire from a machine gun pelted the humans and took aim at the generator for that cage. Though stray bullets swiss cheesed the remaining vehicles and their speakers. Music stopping but was replaced with screaming and explosion.
Then came down the UAV that had observed and laser marked specific targets for missiles. Then performed a precise volley of bullets. The UAV was murdering all these trackers! To them, the military was utterly destroying them and that will cause strife in the human world.
Through the flames he transformed. Heavy pedes slamming the ground to mark his arrival. Ravage's cage was beyond yonder a veil of smoke and it was shut off.
He heard the new human arrive, tuning out his offensive music at first. Then came the arguing over how much force to use against their new 'discovery'. Bah, like any of their pathetic toys were going to do him permanent damage! Except that they were keeping him with their stupid toys, at least for now. What caught and held his attention, however, was the sudden change in music. The music, the phones and cars all suddenly switching, made Ravage grin manically.
"Always did know how to make an entrance, boss." He muttered even before he saw the larger mech. He knew he'd been come after, that help had arrived. Or, in this case, wrath had arrived. Anyone familiar with the mech that had come after him would know you never messed with one of his cassettes. Those that did tended to die in brutal and efficient fashion. And he did so love watching the mayhem that came to those stupid enough to cross that line.
A feline grin stayed on his face plates as he watched the vehicle fly through the air, starting to pace the length of his cage. "Come on, let me out..." He dug his claws in the dirt and just waited. It wouldn't be long now.
The heavy plods of pedes on the ground, and the abrupt shift off of the electricy, gave the little mech all the encouragement he needed. He scaled the metal fence easily and perched there, watching his captors die one by one. He stayed where he was and waited, and once the other had come close enough leapt down and rubbed up against his legs like the feline he was.
A mechanical purr rumbled through him, as he was genuinely happy to see the other. "Soundwave."
He knew he was a little worse for wear, given that he had scorch marks on him from being electrocuted over and over and this organic location wasn't exactly the cleanest. He felt disgusting. But everything would be alright now. Soundwave had come to get him. He'd go back with the other, get repaired, and go back to life as it was meant to be.
Who would hurt his dearest Ravage? Humans and Autobots. Well mostly humans as they sought to understand. That meant tearing things apart as he learned. He wouldn't have their very hands tearing Ravage or any that he cared about. Nooo, his hands would tear them apart instead!
His chest rose and fell rather quickly enough to be noticeable to those around. He turned this way and that, aiming an arm with missiles or guns trained or letting loose to cause more havoc.
The weapons ceased firing and slotted away. Only for gentle hands to replace them. As if Ravage were glass, he ran his digits along his flank. Each digit gliding over any marks that the humans have cause and he blindly feels about for the damages, still turning his mask this way and that.

His onboard systems with a cold manner instructed what his frantic mind what to do. Then his helm turned to Ravage who he flinched a bit at. For a moment, he forgoes his emotional control unit. Moving down to his knees next to Ravage as he couldn't keep from petting him. Long has he been lost to Soundwave, and now he gets to see him.
"Decepticon Ravage, It Has Been Too Long...
Are You Fit For Transformation And Escape?
He hated those wounds and wanted them fixed. The Nemesis did have medics. Maybe that red one could give Ravage a new coat of black. You can have it in any color you want, so long as it is black.
He was not prepared for the information of no transforming. That made him sit upright and stare before flicking an arm out to fire a volley of missiles at the humans that remained!
Ravage pressed into the touch, having missed it terribly. He stayed quiet, knowing too well how Soundwave functioned and that sometimes it was best to just let him deal with himself and not mention it. He respected him too much to poke at him. It was the others words that brought him back to the present, and the little mech vented.
"Negative. One of the organics shocked me so much my internals super heated and the transformation cog melted." He was still getting error readings from internal things being overheated, and his vents weren't taking in sufficiently cooled air to compensate. "My systems are beyond messed up, boss. I can run, I can fight, but I don't have access to my other weapons, or my comms. Just claws and teeth, and my own wit." He growled low, actually moving so that he had his front paws on the massive hand held out to pet him.
Ears shifted, able to swivel in this form, at the deaths of the last of the humans that held him captive. He put his paws back on the ground and leaned in against the larger mech's frame, against his legs. "Easy now, Soundwave. I'm in one piece. I'm still functional. You saved me. The squishies are all dead and gone and this place needs only be razed to the ground for it all to become little better than bad memory loop. I go home with you, get fixed up, repainted, and spend the next few days reacquainting myself with your shoulders for my recharge."
The last part was mostly a joke, as he did prefer recharging safely as a cassette. A nod to his feline appearance and manner.
The familiarity of the touch was bringing back fond memories. No longer will his days aboard the Nemesis will be utterly cold. He now has both Laserbeak and Ravage! He will hardly let this feline go alone on that ship. Unless Ravage wanted to explore by himself.
His touch ran along the flanks of the Decepticon, still feeling the marks left by the humans. A little flinch here and there as he learns more. Non natural weapons and comms array is gone? What did the humans do to take away such useful tools for a Decepticon? To top it off, his transformation cog was destroyed. Now that red medic will have some trouble finding the right sized module for Ravage.
His mask focused on Ravage as he leaned into his palm, supporting him. Then his other hand reached down as a flat, as Soundwave offered to carry Ravage back. No need for the injured to hobble on back.
"Local Area Will Be Bombed At your Request"
Once in his hands, he held Ravage near and dear while his mask shown a few symbols. Coordinates. Yet he wouldn't have the portal open up right next to them. Too much volatile objects. Instead he opened it close by and proceeded to walk towards the gate. The familiar gate he traversed many times and sent Ravage through for reconning missions. This time, it is to return home for a recharge and repairs.
"The sooner I get away from this muggy, organic infested place the better off I'll be." Really, he needed to get checked out, get his systems cooled down and repaired, and be able to return to duty. If Soundwave ever let him out of his sight again after this one.
When the other mech offered to carry him Ravage didn't hesitate to climb into the offered hand, showing that he still trusted the other absolutely. It would take allot for him to lose that trust in this particular mech. Which was why, if Soundwave ever chose to defect or just leave the war altogether, Ravage would follow him. His loyalty was first to Soundwave, and then to Megatron and his cause. Not that he was going to tell Lord Megatron that. He wished to live.
He flashed a grin at the other when he told him his request for the area to be razed was going to happen. "Record it for me, would you? I want to watch it burn later." Also he felt witnessing the place that had damaged Ravage would be cathartic for Soundwave as well, even if the other didn't admit it. After all, only the truly insane messed with Soundwave's cassetticons.
Ravage settled himself in Soundwave's hand and let himself be carried. It wasn't long before the ground bridge was opened to them, and the way back to the Nemesis was assured. He took a breath before they entered the portal, before venting. "Thanks for coming to get me, boss."
