Characters: Arcee & Strongarm
Location: Autobot Outpost
Content Warnings: N/A
Plot Summary: Arcee's training a few new recruits and giving a few pointers to Strongarm.
The sound of metal sliding across concrete echoed through the large room followed by a dull thud against the wall. Arcee's optic's rested on the new recruit she had been asked to train lying in a heap on the floor. The femme still stood in an offensive position from where she had struck the larger mech. Shifting her frame back to a neutral stance she shook her head settling one hand against her hip.
"Not bad but not fast enough." The two wheeler quipped. "Not all of the Decepticon's are going to be as big as you are. Some are my size and that mean's they're faster and more agile. You need to keep your guard up and try and anticipate your opponent's moves."
The mech groaned and moved to get back up nodding in understanding to the smaller femme. Arcee hadn't pulled her punches knowing the mech could take it. Her arm blades on the other hand she was more careful with and she didn't use blaster fire indoors. The femme watched the mech slowly move off to the side to allow another to take his place. Being dumped on his tailpipe twice in one day was enough for him. Arcee shifted back into a defensive stance as another potential Autobot moved into position. The femme's optic's took in the other bot's frame picking up on anything that she could use to her advantage. As the mech moved in for an attack Arcee was already in motion the femme slipping in under the mech's clumsy punch.
"Too slow." She snapped out driving her fist into a vulnerable area not covered by the mech's armor.
Before the mech could recover from being driven forward slightly Arcee had moved around to deliver another blow to his chest. Her feet connected with his chest armor but he was quick enough with his counter to steady himself so he wasn't knocked back. Approval sparked in Arcee's optic's as the mech retaliated and she flipped back out of the way of his attempt to grab her.
"Not bad, keep it up, always be aware of where your enemy is, try to anticipate their attacks and movements so you can counter properly. One wrong calculation or move can mean the difference between fighting another day and joining the All Spark."
