Player Alias: Shotimus
Character Name: Captain Carmine Fanzone [Animated]
Allegiance: Human
Appearance Description: Captain Carmine Fanzone is a balding, middle-aged man roughly around his late 40's. His remaining hair along the back of his head is blonde along with his mustache. He tends to wear sky blue polo with caramel colored slacks while he works, sometimes accompanied with a trench coat, along with navy blue suspenders and a matching tie. His police badge sits right on his right side, partially on his polo, but also on his suspender strap as well.
Captain Fanzone is a tad bit out of shape, and his age shows not just with his balding but with his squinted eyes as well. While it almost appears that his eyes are closed at all times, his eyes become more visible when they widen, revealing dark brown eyes.
Personality: Captain Fanzone is your typical head of the police. He spends his time with office work, but it's out on the field where he really shines. He's a hard worker, always commanding his subordinates and telling them what to do in order to get the job done, though this usually has some interference when any given form of technology he has on him malfunctions. He loves his city and will do what he does to the best of his ability to keep the citizens safe. It's just that sometimes problems are too big and dangerous for him to handle, and these usually come in the form of the resident alien life forms that have called this planet home.
While he does what is to the best of his ability, he does tend to get angry often when things don't go his way. He will shout and scream at anyone in the near vicinity, and will take matters into his own hands if he feels that's what must be done. After all, if you want something done right, sometimes it's just best to do it yourself when all else has failed. Fanzone isn't afraid to jump into a fight, and will be sure to end it as quickly as possible.
It is commonly known to those around him that Fanzone is not a fan of technology. It isn't a lack of trying, but it is his constant need to shout 'this is why I hate machines' when it doesn't do what he wants. Fanzone is by no means a technophobe, and will show technology who's boss. It's not just technology he hates either, but he is also not a fan of lawyers, kids, and tech support just to name a few.
Strengths + Weaknesses:
+ This is your chief talking, now this is your chief yelling! - No one likes a quiet police chief, and Fanzone is great when it comes to yelling at others. He can bark his orders to those who need to hear them, and can also get the attention of others without any trouble.
+ Say hello to my little friend - Fanzone is no stranger to having to use weapons in a dire situation. He has once before used a bazooka in battle, but then again it was to fight off one of Sumdac's creations that managed to escape and was running rampant in the city.
+ *sitting in a room on fire* This is fine - With all the strange things Fanzone has had to deal with, he quickly gets used to the idea of giant robots from space living in the city. He wish they'd just go away, but he at least accepts the fact that he won't be getting rid of them anytime soon and appreciates the fact that they try to help out.
- Temper, Temper - While Fanzone is all about getting the job done, he tends to get angry when things aren't going his way. Whether it's a broken machine or some schmuck on the run just got away, expect to get an earful via a megaphone right against your ear. This is provided the megaphone is working, however.
- This is Why I Hate Machines - Fanzone and machines do not see eye to eye, no matter what kind of machine it is. They all have a tendency to malfunction or break on him at some point or another, usually in comical ways.. but maybe not so much when they thrown at those who laugh.
- I call it an organized mess - Captain Fanzone is not known for his cleanliness at all. His cruiser is littered with coffee cups and food packaging, and his paperwork is no better. Fanzone is the kind of guy who will get rings of coffee and the like all over his documents.
- I used to be a contenda - Fanzone is not in the best of shape health wise, so don't expect him to get real far if he's chasing you on foot. Just hope he doesn't have his car nearby.
Abilities: The ability to boss others around is essentially his only ability
Weaponry: Standard issue police weapons (gun/baton), any piece of machinery he throws after it doesn't do what he wants it to do (can range from cell phones to computers in size), his fists
History: Captain Carmine Fanzone was always set for greatness when it came to his career with the Crown City Police Department. Back in the day he was one of the top cadets in the police academy, even if he wasn't given the greatest of partners. However, he persevered and put himself on the fast track in his career. Always putting the citizens first, he garnered much praise from those around him, and eventually met the woman he would soon refer to as 'the missus'. In other words, his wife.
However, once he became chief of the CCPD, he just didn't have the time to deal with all the little things anymore. He fell out of shape and became sloppier than he had been in the past when it came to his desk and his car. Crime never did take breaks, and so he never did as well.
As time went on he had been called to deal with not only the criminals in the city and other such emergencies, but the shenanigans that would be caused by Isaac Sumdac's creations as well. When a nanobot infested creature broke free from the lab, it was his job to lead his fellow police officers into either subduing the creature or to plain destroy it. The latter had been a forced outcome, but he doesn't seem to recall how it was destroyed. What he doesn't remember is that the Autobots and taken the creature out themselves when it had gone on a rampage and taken one of their own.
For now he remains blissfully unaware of the alien lives that had made themselves at home in 'his' city, cruising the streets of Crown City in his personal cruiser, a yellow Urbana 500 with black racing stripes and a little red siren placed on top via a magnet.
Hopefully none of these alien lifeforms he will come to meet doesn't have a similar alt mode.
