Skids is an average-sized bot with blue and outer plating. A pair of small doorwings are mounted on his back and his optics are yellow.

Laid Back – Thoughtful – Understanding – Friendly – Dedicated – Loyal – Self-Sacrificing – Protective – Empathetic - Trusting
The type of bot who can, and will, befriend anyone, Skids is someone that almost everyone he knows is glad to see. He is a loyal companion and enjoys social engagements of all sorts. He can talk to anyone about anything: Mechanics, literature, weapons, tactics, films, romance; you name it, he can likely hold a conversation. He has always been dedicated to the Autobot cause and his teammates, whoever those may be at the time.
Despite his social versatility, Skids’ main flaw lies in his inability to face his past. He’s witnessed some things during the war, and he’s done some things that he has repressed to the point of forgetting them entirely. He doesn’t have the will to face them. Nor does he have the will to say ‘no’ when others ask him for aid, which is why he ends up in some of the situations he does.
Strengths:
Theoretician: Skids is highly intelligent, and he likes to think. Coming up with theories is a pastime of his, but, its one that serves him very well.
Soldier: Skids was a young bot not long before the war started, enlisted to help Orion Pax in his struggle against the corrupt senate, and he’s been an Autobot ever since. He knows combat, and he knows how to fight well.
Spy: Toward the end of the war, Skids took up a stealthier occupation. He’s good at sneaking about, finding the quickest and most innocuous paths, and collecting information.
Courage: This mech has no fear, especially when protecting others. He’ll take on unbeatable odds, knowing he may not make it out. But, he’s a risk-taker, and that’s just fine with him.
Charisma: Skids has been described as ‘having a certain something that makes people like him’. Whether he himself is aware of this or not is unclear. But, that ‘certain something’ is so powerful that he even caught the attention and interest of Tarn for some time. To the point that the latter spared his life many times over and seemed to have a certain respect for him.
Weaknesses:
Forgetful: Skid’s answer to difficult past situations is to forget them. Sometimes, this means forgetting everything. As such, he has serious memory gaps.
Risk Runner: Sometimes, running those risks comes to bite him in the aft. A gamble may not work as well as he hoped.
Trusting: Skids is the type to want to see the best in everyone, to the point of taking what they say as truth. He’s been duped before. And he forgot.
Abilities:
Outlier- Adaptability: Skids need only observe or do something one time to have it in his memory. He’s a natural jack of all trade

History:
Skids was trained as a theoretician at Senator Shockwave’s Academy of Advanced Technology, and recruited alongside classmates Glitch and Windchanger to aid Orion Pax before the war. He graduated as a theoretician and then joined the Autobot army. After the Simanzi Massacre, he was tasked with disabling anti-personal mines made from Autobot prisoners. Once rigged, death was the only option for these ‘bots, thus making Skids’ job one of assisted suicide, to slowly and carefully offline them rather than letting them explode. After one diffusion attempt gone wrong, Skids was captured and sent to the Grindcore, where Tarn was the warden at the time.
It is unknown how Skids came to leave Grindcore. It is possible that he was freed when the prison fell. Afterward, he joined Prowl’s Covert Ops and became a spy. It was through a series of unfortunate events that he came to join the Lost Light’s crew and become a much loved member.
