It was a bright sunny day, the gorgeous rays of sun shined down creating quite the light show at the bottom of the lack. All the lights broken up into a million pieces. Almost like the twinkling ones in the sky at night. Coral poked he head above the surface of the water. Her bright yellow optics checking for any other life forms. She signed when she realized, as usual, she was alone. She hadn’t spoken to another life form in centuries! Okay so maybe it was more like a week or so, but still! With a stroke of her tail she slowly swam her way over to the shore creating large ripple in the lake. Speaking of which she would have to move on from this place soon, she’d been here a little over a week and she desperately needed a change of scenery. Sure this place was nice and seemingly safe but one could never be to sure. Besides the more she moves around the more life forms she might meet!
She dug her claws into the sandy shore as she pulled her sleek fram out of the water. She stretched her back out like a cat, curling her tail upward with a large yawn that revealed her needle like teeth. She shook the water of her scales and made her way over to a large section of rocks by the lake. They were flat and smooth from years and years of erosion by the lake. The sun glistened off the her light blue scales giving off a pleasant warm feeling. She slowly made her way of to the rocks and raid down underneath the sun, bathing in its light. She shifted on her back enjoying the feeling of warmth on her scales. There was absolutely nothing that could ruin such a perfect day. Or was there?
