Player Alias: Meezer
Character Name: Breakdown
Allegiance: Decepticons
Appearance Description:
Personality + Character Traits: Breakdown himself, despite all his imposing appearance, is quite paranoid of others, preferring to work alone or with someone he trusts, like Knock Out. He's willing to come at Megatron's beck and call, and willing to work hard if it means he and his partner are safe.
Unlike most Decepticons, he at least has a strong sense of friendship and kindness. He values any friends he makes as dearly as any other being would value their friends. In addition, he is known to be the one who shows kindness and gratitude toward the Vehicons. He even has a healthy dose of respect for his Autobot foes, willing to admit his gratitude to them if need for it arises.
However, this is often complicated by his rather eager and sharp temper. He's always eager to join a fight if one comes up, or pound someone into the ground and hammer them in the face. This makes him a bit rash and sometimes even a bit arrogant, as he believes that one should never run when they can fight.
With his rivals, he can often become quite snarky, trading barbs and quips in battle. He likes to have a good one-liner ready, especially for someone like his rival Bulkhead. Not that he likes Bulkhead's "pet" either.
Weaponry:
Breakdown has a blaster that while in vehicle mode is mounted on his hood. In robot mode, it's mounted on his left shoulder. In addition, each of his hands transforms into a large sledgehammer-style hammer, and he's not afraid to use them, because it's hammer time!
History:
Before the war, he actually seemed to be more of a neutral--that was, until Megatron and his Decepticons destroyed a dam near his area. He declared that if Megatron could prove he was tougher, he would join the Decepticons--and true to his word he joined Megatron.
He would help the Decepticons on many missions, perhaps the biggest being to invade Iacon and track down Omega Supreme. He would go on many missions for Megatron afterward, often paired with Knock Out on Megatron's behest. This would lead him being called to Earth to assist the Decepticons.
Roleplay/Writing Sample:
"Ain't nothin'. Don't worry about it, fellas."
Breakdown slowly pulled himself up, clutching his right hand over his optic, or rather where it once had been, wincing and gritting his denta slightly. That blow had taken him off guard--two Autobots working together to double-team one Decepticon. A smart move, considering that neither of them alone were enough to take a big, dangerous bot like him down.
He pulled himself to his knees and then pushed up to get to his feet. Damn. That had actually been pretty rough! He laughed, partly to take the edge off and partly because the situation was actually a little hilarious in hindsight. Seeing a scout and a femme take him down must have been hilarious, even to the Vehicons!
Okay, maybe it was just hilarious in general.
"Y'all okay? Need help getting back to the ship? I'm sure Knock Out wouldn't mind helpin' the survivors." Breakdown gave a pained smile, wincing more. HIs helm was still ringing, and it still hurt behind the patch over his optic. Boy howdy, this was not gonna be fun to explain to Knock Out.
