The first thing that was felt was a dull, aching pain all over his frame.
Blaster tried to expel air out of his vents, which succeeded in blowing out the dust that was covering them into the air. It took him a while to remember...
...Shouts, lots of shouting...
He groaned, trying to shift and move, but not quite doing so. A low whine escaped him as he tried again.
:: Blaster, the ship's in trouble. Can you hear me? Blaster!::
A quiet sob escaped him, trying to remember. Remember.
And he finally onlined his optics. Then he squinted. It was all brown and... dirty. It wasn't the smooth metal he was familiar with. It wasn't the almost sterile environment he had known all his life. This was different.
The dull ache raised to a throbbing one, especially in his back struts. He still couldn't exactly move. He managed to flex fingers, feeling life come back to him once more. But living wasn't without pain, and the pain was beginning to be unbearable, his HUD finally coming online to tell him how bad the damage is. Gritting his denta, he summoned up the energy to make a wide, broadcasting comm throughout the surrounding area.
<< Hello? Hello? If there are any Autobots nearby, my designation is Blaster, Communications Officer. I'm in a lot of pain right now. Please... please help... >>
He then tried to lift himself up, he needed to go, he needed to be on the move.

First Aid was getting adjusted to living at the Autobot base. He was so used to living out in space or the desert or some version of being alone that he had to get used to being around mecha again. It was an exciting and odd feeling.
What was even odder was hearing a distress call, now that he was repaired enough to hear those again.
First Aid then startled when he heard the voice and the designation of the mech in question.
Blaster? Hadn't he disappeared... forever ago? First Aid scrambled up, responding to Blaster quickly.
:: This is Autobot First Aid. I'm a medic. What are your coordinates, Blaster? ::

First Aid Oh good! A reply! With another grunt, he musters up another burst of energy to send a response comm << I... I am working on putting it together and sending it out to you. Please... please it hurts... >> Blaster started to wish to be dead, it was better than the bigger flare of pain that was going on. But he managed to give out the coordinates to First Aid, before trying to move again.

@blaster
:: Please hold on. I'll be there as fast as I can. ::
And after First Aid told Ratchet was going on, he sped off into the desert. Following the coordinates. He didn't know what to expect, but from the comms he received he knew it would not be good.
As soon as he saw the downed mech in the distance, he transformed into root form to run over to Blaster.
"Blaster! I'm First Aid. Can you stand?"

First AidBlaster heard First Aid call to him, and from Aid's view- Blaster was a mess. He was all broken armor and loose wires. There was even a gaping hole in the middle of his chest. But he was alive. "Is... are..." He was slightly incoherent, but talking. And Blaster was still trying to drag himself in a different direction, as disoriented as he is.

First Aid's spark ached when he saw Blaster. He looked like he had been in a fight... and lost. He quickly went over to Blaster's side. He supposed that answered that. If Blaster was even able to walk properly, he seemed too out of it to focus.
"I'm here," First Aid assured. "I'm going to take you back to the Autobot base. You'll be safe there."
First Aid considered his options on getting Blaster back.
"I'm going to carry you, alright?"

First Aid Safe, he was safe. Blaster let out a half choked laugh in relief... ...before flopping down entirely, pretty much giving up trying to move at the moment. If he was more coherent, he'd be a little suspicious. Maybe someone jacked the Autobot comms again. Maybe this is someone pretending to be an ally. At the same time, he was so tired and hurting that any hands that helped is a relief. So he went silent, and let this mech, this First Aid, help him.

First Aid scooped the mech up in his arms. For being so small, the medic was surprisingly strong. He had to be, to be able to pick mecha off fields so they can be repaired. Or laid to rest.
Don't think about that right now. Focus on Blaster.
First Aid called the Autobot base, requesting a ground bridge before one swirled open in front of them. That would make carrying Blaster back to base easier and with less chance of getting caught.
Adjusting Blaster so he wouldn't fall and would be secure, First Aid walked through the bridge and immediately took him to the medbay.
"Blaster, I'm going to start repairing you now and give you a painkiller so you won't be in such agony. Is that alright?" Because First Aid didn't even need to use his sensors to tell that Blaster was in tremendous pain. "If you feel like falling asleep, go ahead. When you wake up, you'll be in one piece again," First Aid assured. It would be easier if Blaster was asleep while he did the repairs anyway. Though, he wouldn't keep Blaster from staying awake if he wanted to be. First Aid waited for some kind of confirmation before administering the drug. He knew some mecha didn't like any forms of drugs, including painkillers. So he would wait for a nod or a grunt or something so he didn't take Blaster's freedom of choice away.
First Aid continued to murmur quiet assurances, as he would do to a mech torn apart on a battlefield. His voice was gentle and soft and his hands worked quickly and delicately to close up the damage.

First Aid Blaster felt himself being picked up, a low moan of agony escaping his lips as they stepped through the ground bridge, the very portal itself making it feel like his frame was being rearranged. It was a relief when it was over. ... the one talking to him was very nice. Made him feel good despite the pain. He onlined his optics enough to see... a visor and a mask. It doesn't make a good impression for seeing a friendly face, but there was just such warmth about him. He hears something about painkillers and tried to nod, wincing at the small movement. He also heard something about falling asleep and he gave the mecha hovering over him a warm, sweet smile before doing just so. As soon as the painkiller was applied, he felt calmer again... and he dozed off...

First Aid breathed a small sigh of relief when Blaster consented to the painkiller. It would have made this so much worse. When he administered the drug, Blaster should notice that it took affect almost instantly. It was pretty high-powered, only used on those who were in severe pain. Like Blaster now.
First Aid spent a very...VERY long time working on repairing Blaster. Closing up any open wounds, fixing his armor, and trying to repair the hole in his chest.
When First Aid was finished, he was exhausted. It had been a long time since he had done a repair this extensive. He wished any of the other medics had been around.
First Aid slumped in a chair next to Blaster's medical berth, his visor dimmed to a soft glow as he tried not to let sleep take him.
He just needed to wait until Blaster woke up.

First Aid Blaster slept deeply for a while, the painkillers helping him lull back to sleep. He dreamt, but it was not a good dream. He whimpered and gave soft whines in his sleep, sounding miserable. He shifted a bit in his sleep, starting to fuss, as if fighting against something, or someone.

@blaster
First Aid woke up with a start, his visor blinking bright as he registered the sounds coming from the berth.
"Blaster...?" First Aid said, his tone confused and concerned. The medic reached out his hand out to rest on Blaster's shoulder. Trying to give some kind of comfort.
"Blaster, it's okay. You're safe."
It seemed like a nightmare, but First Aid wasn't sure if it would be better to wake Blaster up or hope that the nightmare will subside into something better.

First Aid The hand on his shoulder brought him comfort, his venting going back to normal. His moans died down, and a hand went up to reach for it comfortingly. "Safe... you are safe..."

First Aid let out a small sigh of relief when Blaster settled down. He figured that Blaster would be sleeping for awhile. Those painkillers were powerful and would likely knock him out for some time.
His hand turned into a gentle caress as he tried to retract it so he could turn and get some energon.
Blaster was likely to be hungry when he woke up. He lost a lot of energon from his injuries, though First Aid didn't want to put Blaster on a drip. Not yet at least. Perhaps if he got worse.
