Episode 2: To The Winner - Poll As some of you may have noticed, Episode 1 will soon be coming to a close. Autobots, Decepticons, and other parties have gone head to head to retrieve the Iacon Relics before the enemy, and the Autobots have come out mostly victorious. Meanwhile, the Convergence marches on, and the fabric of space and time is slowly but surely coming apart.
Episode 2 is jampacked full of action, but also comes with a bit of a hitch. Before that action can take place, however, some very non-actiony, primarily plot-driven threads must chronologically take place. These threads are mainly exposition and dialogue regarding the Iacon Relics and what each faction intends to do -- The Decepticons, for example, will be plotting ways to even the odds, while the Autobots will need to discuss methods of keeping these relics safe. And what of the third, unknown parties who laid claim to a relic?
We know that all members have preferences regarding dialogue and exposition threads versus threads focusing on action, and may find one option more interesting than the other, and so The Staff Team would like to put the decision to a vote!
These threads can be undertaken and completed before the exciting bits of Episode 2 come into play, can be undertaken at the same time, or can be skipped over and heavily implied via an opening blurb for the episode.
Tell us what you’d like to see by voting in the poll above! We also highly encourage you to make comments, suggestions, and speculations about the upcoming Episode 2 below -- what do you want to see? What do you think we will see? Are there any character arcs you’d like to somehow see incorporated into the main plot? Let us know!

I would be fine with the threads being done before or during the main events of Episode 2, but I think that doing it before hand might give us some more ideas with things that could happen during the main events.

I would rather them be done beforehand, especially since doing them all at once is going to be a lot to do, and I have school and teaching and a job, so it'll be way more to do for me and super overwhelming. But that's just my two cents!

My main concern is that if we do exposition threads at the same time as action ones, it'll be too much for me and people like me (those of us with mood disorders whose ability to post is dictated by if they're having a genuinely day or not) and for people with jobs or school or both to handle.
I understand wanting to get to the action as quickly as possible but I'd really hate to be overwhelmed. : I

I like 'jumping' in rping a lot. To be specific, that basically means moving from one feel to the next whether that's fluidly, or abruptly. I do too get overwhelmed with rps, but I absolutely love it when lots of different stuff is going on in many places.
I wouldn't mind handling the remainder of episode 1 while beginning episode 2. Perhaps it would be best to see if the current threads that we're all in are at least in their latter half before starting, but initially, I wouldn't mind starting action if we can.

First of all - thank you to Shotimus , @lafayette , @tonylefruitbat and @krom for leaving your comments. This is valuable feedback and the staff team really appreciates it! The general consensus is that our member base wishes for the exposition threads to take place before the main action threads. Faye and Tony raise a valid concern in that concurrently-running threads may be too much to handle, especially with many of us attending school of various levels. I do intend to keep the two week rule in place regarding replies, but since most of the threads of Episode 2 are group-based threads, if someone does not post within the allotted two week time frame, they will be skipped over in the posting order. Definitely, Episode 1 will get wrapped up before Episode 2 will begin, but there is no harm in beginning to plan and organize for it. I'm hoping for more feedback and member input for Episode 2 especially, so if there are any character arcs or plot points you'd like to suggest, please let me know! I want everyone to feel as if they are involved and are a part of the story.
