Name: Tempura
Group: Neutral (For now)
Face Claim: N/A (Self made artwork)
Other Characters: Airachnid, Optimus Prime, Wheeljack
Appearance:
Tempura is an almost perfect copy of her brother, only with a silver paint job and golden eyes, therefore being his complete opposite(gold paint job and silver eyes). Her alt-mode, just like her brother's is a Pagani Huayra, and she loves to flaunt every curve and detail that comes with it. Her eyes are often covered by a vibrant blue visor, and her lips are gold just like her eyes. She is a little shorter than her brother, and is built in a little more slender fashion due to the fact that she is a femme.
Personality:
Tempura is vain. Very, very, very vain. Perhaps more so than her own brother, and she can forget her train of thought if someone compliments her. However, despite her vanity she can be very civil and focused when she needs to be, and is good at showing off both her skills as an artist and as a computer hacking genius. When she starts something she is too stubborn to stop, and if told or forced to stop, her rebellious behavior kicks in and she will get whatever she wants or do whatever she wants to no matter what. To say she is a stubborn teenager is the understatement of the year. When fighting, if she has to fight, Tempura is unforgiving and bloodthirsty where her brother is far from it. She absolutely hates the Autobots and believes they are responsible for her triplet's death, while her brother believes the opposite. As a triplet, she is still connected to her other living sibling, and is particularly clingy.
However, despite being close to her sibling, she and Acrylic do not get along. They constantly fight when no-one is watching, mostly over who killed their brother. As said, Tempura thinks the Autobots did, Acrylic thinks the Decepticons did, and therefore both are torn apart by their beliefs. As soon as the fight starts, its over rather fast as neither can truly bring themselves to hate the other other sibling nor be angry with them for very long. Tempura often gets antsy, on edge about anything that goes on around her and extremely suspicious. Without having their third sibling around to balance them out, the connection between the last two pieces of the three-way split-spark they shared has been knocked off its hinges. Its hard for them to be actual 'twins' so to speak. She can barely feel her other sibling's emotions, and it throws her on edge about him also. Her paranoia can be her Achilles heel if she allows it to take over.
Weaknesses:
-Her brother Acrylic
-Her dead brother Pigma
-Her own vanity.
-Can be scary paranoid if she lets herself get that way.
-Her doorwings: they are EXTREMELY easy to break and though she can block most of it out, the pain can consume her mind
-Left leg, a covered up, old, nearly unrepairable wound from blaster fire that acts up from time to time, causing her to limp in brief pain for a day or so.
Weapons:
-Ion blasters built into her arms, allowing her to shoot with just a point of the palm of her hand
-A scrambler, allowing her to A.keep others from listening in on her comm conversations, and B. to keep others from communicating via comm.
-Incredible computer hacking skills, able to crack most databases (key word 'most')
-Incredible memory, can back up file after file for a long time until she has to download them to her personal datapad.
-One data pad with every bit of information she's ever found, stolen, or eventually had destroyed. Even personal memories are stored here. (Unbeknownst to herself, she had downloaded things to that datapad that, even though she might not see the use in it, would be extremely beneficial to any cause if it was taken away from her. However, she tells no-one about it and keeps it hidden on her person at all times.)
History:
Tempura's Creators made her one of three siblings: three separate pieces of one spark, all connected. Her brothers were named Acrylic and Pigma, and she herself being named Tempura. However, her Creators were not the ones who named them. Their Creators were miners in Kaon, but they had saved and fought for all they could in order to earn a favor from a much higher-up friend. Their Creators, after paying handsomely to a certain mech named Artform, gave up their rights to their younglings in order to give them a better life. None of the three remember their real Creators, nor ever would. From then on, Artform was their Creator, and he was the one to give them their names, all to suit his taste, and took them away with him Altihex.
Artform was a mech who catered to the artistic tastes of his fellow colleagues, making holo-images, sculptures, and the rare paintings(made of the most expensive paints found off-planet of course) of them in all their finery, landscapes, so on and so forth.. Acrylic took up sculptures, Pigma began making the rare paintings, and Tempura took up holo-images, all three being extremely good at their trade to the happiness of Artform. With the mech as their mentor, they flourished, and began to make a name for themselves. However, Tempura was the odd-ball.
Sure, she took up projects with great enthusiasm, but she had a secret desire to make holo-images of every city-state on Cybertron, even down to Kaon.. Her place of origin, despite never knowing it even was. However, images of the city-state were hard to obtain, especially since there were very few 'bots who wanted a image of Kaon. Tarn and Vos were also almost taboo to her Creator, so when he found her looking up images, he banned any sources of those places to her reach. However, Tempura would prove to her Creator that she was a stubborn and rebellious femme, and was going to get what she wanted no matter what she had to do to get it.
It took a while, but she was about to hack through all the firewalls put up by her Creator, and unknowingly, those put up by higher-up and smarter individuals. She was resilient, and learned how to cover her tracks, saving everything to memory in her processor, instead of directly to a datapad or any other source. However as files began to back up rather quickly, she began transferring all her memories and gathered information from her processor to a lone datapad, which she used a simple and innocent art platform for her holo-images when in public eye. Tempura was able to even convince her Creator to make modifications to another datapad's memory capacity, under the guise that she needed to be able to store several files of whoever or whatever she was making into a holo-image. Once that was done, she transferred all her files from her original datapad to the new one and still does today.
Before Tempura and her siblings could really make a name for themselves as young artists, the news of war broke out. Despite Artform wanting them to simply ignore it, to just think that the war wasn't going to come to their doorsteps, that it was just temporary.. The triplets conversed between themselves about the fact that the battle was coming closer and closer to Altihex, and tried to make a decision as to whether or not they would join a side, and if so.. Who?
Before they could make a solid decision, the war came to Altihex, and Artform took the teenagers away to his own personal ship. He didn't want to stay on a world where he couldn't stay in business anymore, and for other selfish reasons unknown to the triplets at the time. Their Creator, Tempura, Acrylic, and Pigma had to dodge blaster-fire and falling debris trying to get away to Artform's ship. However, once they were nearly there, they spotted a Decepticon couple that caused them to stop and stare. The couple paused and stared back, and unbeknownst to the triplets, they were looking at their true Creators. In that brief moment, the triplets took blaster fire, and their 'Creator' ran off and let them. Pigma was the one who took a shot to the chest and dropped dead immediately. The death of the third part of their shared spark made the other two drop all conscious thought to the situation around them and run to their triplet to drag him away to safety. In those brief moments, Tempura took a crippling shot to the leg and Acrylic took a couple shots to the shoulder as they drug Pigma's dead body away to safety.
The Decepticon couple ran up to them in the midst of the battle, the older mech taking up Pigma's dead body and the younger grabbing the two teenagers, easily carrying them away. Tempura and Acrylic both fought to get back to their twin while the mech carried them back to where Artform was starting up the ship. For some reason, the mech pressed a kiss to both their foreheads when he sat them down, then just ran back into the fray. In that moment, they both realized something; those mechs where their Creators, not Artform. However, they didn't have time to ask questions or run after him as they were drug away by Artform, into their ship and away from Cybertron.
It didn't take long for Tempura to fall into paranoia when it came to Artform and the reason he ran off without them. She knew he only wanted to use them for his own ends, but for how long and at what cost? Her paranoia eventually drove her into a maddening rage in which she murdered their 'Creator' when he made a comment about Pigma and how they should get over his death, something about that there were better things for them to focus on... Most of the fight was forgotten as Tempura fell to her darker roots, something born in her spark from her brother's death.
The remaining two of the triplets then began to disagree on who had killed Pigma, Decepticons or Autobots. It would never be for certain, but they both were separated in their beliefs. Tempura claimed the Autobots were responsible, and Acrylic claimed the Decepticons were. There were many fights in their trip across the galaxy, stopping at places to sell their incredible artwork in order to refuel, get energon, and continue on their merry way. By the time they reached Earth, they were yet again in need of energon and fuel, but were distraught to find out that the planet was devoid of both and of a spaceport where they could just stop and run.
There was a fight between the two about how it was the other's fault that they'd come this way and that they were going to die. It was in this fight that they destroyed most of the control panel and sent themselves in a crash course to Earth's surface. Acrylic was able to give them a rather safe landing, only into the middle of one of the cities where only the wealthiest of individuals lived: Los Angeles, California. It was there that they both scanned their alt-modes and hauled aft out of there. Currently low on energon and without any way to know if they have a chance to survive, they roamed desperate across the country, finally reaching Jasper, Nevada.
It is there that they have parted separate ways, both hearing of Decepticon and Autobot forces roaming in the area. One last fight over which side to join has driven them apart, quite literally. Whether or not they will join a side or come back together, only time will tell. However, the clock is ticking away as they both have very low amounts of energon on their person and those cubes are being depleted slowly but surely. Tempura is on her last two, and currently.. Things aren't looking good.
Sample:
Her golden eyes lifted up to the windows of the warehouse, many of which were missing their glass, or the glass was broken. It was dark out, so it was relatively safe for her to go outside in her root mode and just stare up at the sky like she normally did. Tempura was unable to really leave her current home, a long since forgotten warehouse on the edge of town, since her energon supplies had gotten so low. There were only two cubes left, and she was afraid to think of how long she would survive after that. At one time in her youth she had heard that starving to death was one of the worst ways to die.. Painful and frightening to say the least.
So, it was safe to say Tempura was afraid. She was scared of dying, scared of leaving her twin without her. They only had each other, but.. They had separated a week or so after they came to Jasper, he departing to join the Autobots, and she just.. Wandering. It wasn't like there were any Decepticons around to just wave at and be like, 'Hi, I'd like to join the Decepticons!' Besides, that would just look stupid on her part, and Primus forbid she'd make a fool of herself.
She glanced down as something under her foot made a cracking sound, like crushed glass might make, and she was right. Her face was reflected back to her in white moonlight, still flawless and as perfect as ever. Just as flawless as her brother's, just like Pigma's. They all had looked so alike, it was hard to tell the difference between them all.. Except herself of course since she was the only girl in the bunch. But looking at herself was like looking at her brothers, one dead and one alive. Primus.. How long ago was that..
Tempura was still some rebellious teenager caught in a war, ready for the good fight, and outfitted for it. She smirked at her hands and let the gold light from her blasters charge for just a brief moment. Yeah.. She could show her worth.. And if not as a fighter, but as a hacker. Either way, she was ready for anything, just not starving to death. The femme gave the moon one last glance then ducked back into her warehouse and transformed to her alt-mode. She recharged this way, and felt safer this way. If she needed to, she was ready to up and speed out of there, and leave her pursuers in the dust.. However, she had none, so she worried not and just let herself fall into recharge, recalling memories of better times..
