'Method One: Tell the person you like them' Are you kidding?! That was far too difficult, not to mention boring. 'Method Two: Make eye contact and smile' He already did that on a regular basis though.. to everyone. How was that supposed to solve his current predicament? 'Method Three: Give them a nickname' 'Strongy'?'Method Four: You make them a mix tape to give them a clue' A mix tape..? A mix tape! A mix tape was.. oh it was something you put a collection of songs specifically chosen on. Smokescreen grinned to himself as the idea formed in his processor. Setting his datapad down, he continued his train of thought as he pictured what this mixtape would be like. Obviously he would need a few songs, but there just had to be one song that clinched it all. One that would get the message across that screamed 'hey I might just have a crush on you or something'. It was only then that it dawned on him that he wasn't exactly familiar with Earth music. True there was the whole internet with videos they both watched on their datapads during their downtime, but where the heck was he supposed to start? The Elite Guardsman stood up from his sitting place, glancing around the room. "Primus, how can finding music be so difficult..?"

@smokescreen
Blaster was sitting in the middle of the room, fiddling with his datapad in his hand. There is another datapad on the table in front of him, from where he was working, playing Earth tunes that First Aid had wonderfully put together for him. He was not big on the electroswing, but he can still dig it...
...especially daydreaming First Aid dancing around to it.
He smiles to himself as he thought, a happy glow to his EMP field as he started to hum along to a song, while lifting up the back of the datapad to see the wiring he had done so far.
An exclamation from one of the other mechs in the room made Blaster look up and behind him.
"You talkin' music, my mech? I'm the expert." He tells the standing mech, a touch of pride in his tone.

@blaster
Smokescreen glanced up as another voice filled the room, turning his attention to the red and yellow mech who had also been in the room. There had been so many new mechs and femmes around, but the Elite Guardsman hadn't really gotten the chance to get to know them all on a one on one basis. If he remembered correctly.. this one was named Blaster?
It was Blaster, right?
"Sure am! Had this idea, ok.. maybe I didn't actually have the idea but saw it on my datapad, to make a mixtape for someone I.. kinda like? I dunno, but if you can help me with that I will owe you big time!"
Grinning, Smokescreen held out a hand, ready to shake the other mech's.
"Name's Smokescreen, by the way. Not sure we've been properly introduced before."

@smokescreen
Blaster turned around fully to face the mech. He wasn't sure if he ever met him, the mech was talkative, hyper, bouncy even. A hum could be heard as Blaster considered the idea of a mix tape.
"Got someone ya like, hm?" Blaster reached out and grabbed Smokescreen's hand, shaking it. "Name's Blaster, I just arrived not long ago. I'm the Communications Officer." He gave the mech a bright smile. "I am also well known for loving music." He looks over at his datapad. "Unfortunately I don't know Earth music that well yet. I am getting there though. I do know the importance of mix tapes, on the other hand." Winks at Smokey. "I guess the love bug hits hard on this base."

@blaster
"Well, uh..." Definite yes. But how to go about saying that he had a crush on Ratchet's adopted kid?! It just seemed so weird, and he dared not to say it with the grumpy medic around as it was. One wrong slip of the glossa and the wrenches would all be heading his way.
"Blaster? Pretty cool name if I don't say so myself. I'm Smokescreen." The young mech wasted absolutely no time reaching out for Blaster's hand, firmly grasping it as he shook it, letting go before it could be considered an awkwardly long handshake. Primus those were the worst.
While the red mech did seem to know of a large variety of music, he didn't know too much when it came to Earth's music. "No problem. Earth is pretty different from Cybertron, plus we haven't been here all that long. Or.. at least I haven't been. Dunno about you. Hey, ya know what? We could always look up Earth music together if you really wanted to." The Elite Guardsman nervously chuckled, placing his hand behind his neck.
When the other mech brought up the topic of love, his chuckle tilted towards the confident side. "Yeah, no kidding. Guess Earth kinda has that effect on Bots like us. I mean.. there's those rumors going around about Ratchet, and then there's me, and.. I know there's others."
