Player Alias: Meistro
Character Name: Cliffjumper
Allegiance: Autobots
Appearance Description: Cliffjumper is all brawn, and metallic muscle. He's big, bulky, and has a red color-scheme that perfectly fits his attitude. His chassis is heavy set and armored, and his arms aren't any less protected. He was built to last, and his bulk is a great defensive and offensive weapon, letting him be an excellent full-frontal attacker, or a healthy defensive tank, depending on the situation. He usually prefers full frontal, either battering his enemies with his heavily armored fists, which contain high-powered weaponry. His paint doesn't differ much, staying a solid red throughout most of his helm, and having the trademark blue Autobot eyes. His helm is horned as well.
Personality: Some Autobots take their names very seriously, Cliffjumper is no exception. He jumps without looking, shoots first and asks questions never, and loves a good firefight. He usually needs some sort of supervision on anything but an attack, to make sure he doesn't destroy the objective in his bouts of action, or harm some of the beings he was sent to protect. Of course, in a fight, he's at his finest. He knows how weapons work, how much ammo should be in a clip, and how many shots a bot could take before they had to step out. Not like he listens to the last one anyway. He would fight until his spark is snuffed out forever, and even after that he'll try and find a way to keep the fight going.
This doesn't mean he's a belligerent jerk, however. He holds a great deal of respect towards his fellow Autobots, and treats them like family. However, like most family, he can get tired of them, and do things on his own. This means that he could leave and Decepticon hunt on his own without any warning, put his own life in danger for the great cause of thrillseeking,
Speaking of, the one thing he hates above anything else is Decepticons. Not like it's uncommon among Autobots to dislike the opposite side, but he despises them with a passion. Their tactics, their designs, some of their voices. Just terrible. Second to that, however, are bots that switch sides. Bots who would betray their cause for the sake of convenience. Those bots, even if they join the Autobots, are just as bad as Decepticons to him, and have a whole lot of trust to gain before he gives them any respect.
Strengths + Weaknesses:
He is extremely cocky and overconfident, not really asking for backup until there's a surefire need for it. He doesn't play 'Better safe than sorry', he plays 'How much can I take before playing it safe'. He's also terrible at keeping secrets, reporting to his higher-ups or at least another Autobot with whatever he learns, doing it for the betterment of the cause. It would take a close friend and lots of convincing to get him to even withhold a scrap of information from his commanders.
Abilities:
None
Weaponry:
Six-Cylinder Ion Cannons: These babies were made for heavy hitting. You think one ion blast is rough? Take six at a time, coming at you in a constant barrage. These were made to dent, destroy, and push back. Most of the time, even Cliffjumper doesn't know how much ammo is in these things, but it takes a hell of a lot to refill. The results are always worth it, however.
Glass Gas: This gas is extremely potent and volitile. Contact with it turns you as brittle as glass, leaving you open to get smashed open. However, it's in extremely low supply, and incredibly dangerous to use, even for Cliffjumper. If he didn't like risking his own hide to spray down some Decepticons, he would, but he doesn't. The effects last for a solid couple minutes before wearing off, which means that if you do get caught in it, flee. Just, flee REALLY carefully.
Advanced Targeting System: It's fairly self-explanitory. Cliffjumper's targeting system can lock onto several targets at once, and paired with his Ion Cannons, it makes him a real force to be reckoned with.
History:
We all know the whole deal with the Autobots and Decepticons. Orion trusted a jerk, the jerk defected from the cause, the jerk created his own cause, and then the war started.
Cliffjumper was a part-time Wrecker at the beginning of the war. He came, he saw, he blew up whatever was in his way with force and power. Of course, being stuck with the same Autobots for so long wasn't his real style, and started to become a bit of an independent factor. Still an Autobot through and through, he would just prefer to go on solo missions whenever possible, wrecking whatever Decepticons came across his path. Which was a hearty amount. A good enough amount to allow him to be a candidate for Team Prime, working under Optimus Prime himself. Now, he liked going out on his own, but this was a whole new game, and one he didn't want to lose.
On Cybertron, Cliffjumper and the Autobot Arcee were captured by Shockwave, who was trying to decode a message from Optimus Prime. However, they both escaped and damaged Shockwave, escaping to Earth.
Of course, as the war developed, Team Prime was becoming more of a factor of who ended up where. Some bots ended up on the team by chance, others were assigned to Optimus. Cliffjumper, who had followed Arcee to Earth, was one of those few 'lucky' bots that ended up with Optimus, and not drifting around the galaxy in search of shelter. This allowed him to accompany Arcee, who had recently lost Tailgate, and quickly grew close to her.
Over the span of three years on Earth, Cliffjumper remained on Earth, searching for energon, and giving little to no concern about Autobot rules about humans.Apparently he died a little bit later? Weird.
Roleplay/Writing Sample:
The open roads of Nevada. Well, if you could call them roads. Most bots would describe them as road-like dirt patches, but he didn't have any problem getting dust in his tires. He was a lean, mean, con-busting machine. That, and he had to stay out here, and change his license plate for the umpteenth time because of his run-ins with the authorities. He was sure the government was going to come after him for those unpaid parking tickets. If they could catch him, that is.
The Autobot stopped at a halt, looking over a ravine. Scouting missions. Always great if you could find something interesting to do during them, and this seemed interesting enough. The Autobot slid down, transforming out of vehicle mode to stop anything from getting too punctured on the rocky terrain. Looks like it was his lucky day. A healthy supply of Energon, just laying around. And they said he couldn't scout. Of course, this was such an obvious spot, it wouldn't just be laying around here without the 'Cons knowing about it.
He turned around, as several Vehicons stepped into view. Speak of the devil. "Well, who's first?" He smirked, flicking his hands, holding out his cannons. "And I thought you 'Cons knew better than to mess with wild animals."

Cliffjumper is a committed Autobot, willing to do whatever he has to do to further his cause. He never gives up easily, and holds a great deal of loyalty to his higher ups, even if he does seem to play as a loose cannon at times. He's an extremely durable soldier, having a thick hide that can take a beating, and a weapons system that makes him an extremely powerful force on the battlefield, having an arsenal of heavy weaponry that can be a huge asset on the battlefield. He's an active thrill-seeker, doing whatever it takes to get that rush and add some excitement in whatever it does, be it scouting or combat. Speaking of, he's extremely skillful in both of those areas, serving as a scout for the Autobots with Cybertronians such as Bumblebee since the start of the war. He has an indomitable will, fighting until the very end, and incredibly hard to put down. He also likes to play fair, and despises dirty tricks while fighting, and always gives his opponent a fair fight.
