Finally..!
Steeljaw stared at the set of chips that sat before him, spread across his makeshift workstation, a grin plastered on his faceplates. He had been working on these for quite some time, and they were finally ready. All he would have to do is implant these in himself and his Pack, and they would be spared from specific subsonic frequencies. Now he could devastate those miserable Autobots with a vastly decreased chance of harming his own team.
The wolf was prepared now, prepared to take down Bumblebee and his team, but the more he thought about it he realized that he still needed to come up with a plan in order to break into that base of theirs. By no means was it as simple as knocking on the door and bursting through. No, they clearly had to have security that would detect them. If they could track them simply by their insignias, then they had to have something that advanced on hand.
Perhaps now was the time to consult the elk.
Subspacing his handcrafted chips, Steeljaw went in search of Thunderhoof. While he didn't show as much trust in his Packmates as one would have initially expected, he trusted Thunderhoof slightly more than the others. He was a smart one, and could be quite useful when it came to battle strategies.. more so for the others than for Steeljaw.
However this was a situation that could take full advantage of both of their processors. Maybe Thunderhoof could think of a way into the base and to shut down the Autobots from their very own 'home'.
"Thunderhoof.. where are you? I'm in need of your assistance if you've a moment to spare."

The elk emerged from one of the side rooms of the building. Steeljaw actually needed his assistance? That was a surprise if he'd ever heard one. He approached the wolf raising an optic ridge. "You need my help? That's surprisin'. What's up?"
He fully expected some ridiculous mission. Probably some mission where they'd come back with nothing, and most likely end up losing something they needed. It seemed that lately they were on the losing team.

Before Steeljaw could so much as grow annoyed with not knowing where Thunderhoof was, the elk emerged from one of the side rooms in the mill. It saved Steeljaw the trouble of having to track him down, as well as saving his mood from quickly taking a nosedive. Even the elk seemed surprised that the wolf had required his assistance, but it only served to amuse the shorter mech.
"I've finished my personal pet project." Opening his subspace, he pulled out a few of the chips that he had carefully build from scratch. "Using these chips, I can safely use my subsonics without any of use being effected. I can manipulate the subsonic frequencies to attack anything except for these little devices. All I need to do is install them into each of us."
He held one out in the event Thunderhoof wanted to inspect them, but he wouldn't find anything harmful towards him anywhere. "I had an idea.. that if we can sneak into the Autobot base, I can recalibrate their defenses with subsonic frequencies, locking the Autobots out of their own base and we can free our incapacitated brothers and sisters. Or.. if their systems are strong enough, I could easily strengthen the subsonics to blow them to pieces."
Steeljaw face scrunched up in thought, keeping his eye contact with Thunderhoof. "The only missing piece of the plan is how to lure out enough of them in order to break in. I thought, perhaps, you might have some suggestions."
