Player Alias: Leighlei
Character Name: Arcee [ Prime ]
Allegiance: Autobots
Appearance Description:
Arcee Image
Arcee is a two wheeler with a frame that shows off all the delicate, shapely curves in both bot mode and alt mode, and is the smallest Autobot currently on the team. Blue makes up her primary color scheme in both modes.
Two stripes of pink run parallel on either side of her light silver faceplate that turn inward to give her face a much more narrow jawline and higher set cheekbones, as well as down the middle of her forehelm that forms into a spike that rises slightly above her helm. Very small stripes of the same pink tone wrap around her wrists, jutting out into spikes ( which could probably poke out one's optic if aimed correctly ) and two more run alongside either of her lower legs. Two small solid blue door wings fan out from her back, panels left over from the side of her alt mode that fold in when transforming. Her upper arms and legs as well as pedes are a dark grey while her midriff is a lighter shade. Her upper chest, helm, forearms, skirt and lower legs are blue.
Arcee's alt mode is a blue Aprilia RSV 1000 R pictured here
Personality:
Brash, ill-tempted, cold sparked, brutal, stubborn, strict, and deathly serious in most situations. These are some of the traits you'll find worked into the framework of Arcee. Although 'large and in charge' would never be a combination used to describe Arcee in the appearance category, the same can not be said for how she carries herself. Don't let the small stature fool you! Or rather, go ahead, because you'll definitely be sorry about it later. As with most, there's more to her than most would probably consider. There's compassion, love and respect for her comrades buried deep in there somewhere- one would just have to break past that rugged, cold exterior of hers and her chilly demeanor to find it. There's also some sass hidden in there, so watch when that comes out or else it'll catch you completely off-guard.
Strengths + Weaknesses:
Whether it's sneaking around in the dark, crawling through spaces most others can't access or just being a general pain in the aft, Arcee can be pretty useful; even if it's through reputation alone. When the Decepticons are talking about a bothersome little two wheeler in the most disgusted of tones, Arcee is usually the topic of discussion at that dinner table. While she doesn't have saboteur strengths as some of those in the special ops or the strength of a bruiser to back her fists, it does not mean she can't throw down with the best of them. At least she doesn't throw in the towel, even when she probably should.
Being reliant to getting in close enough to an enemy when your frame is at risk of being turned into a crushed tin can can be the ingredients for disaster. Which is a good thing that Arcee is usually fully aware of what she's facing and has her optics on everything at once since being at least one step ahead and quick to on her pedes is key to her ultimate survival. This leaves her pretty much wide open for an attack from a counterpart with a skill in sniping and no way to defend herself except to swerve around and stay out of the crosshairs. Not exactly the best position to be in.
The downside to having such a frame means that if a Decepticon does manage to counter her it would only take one hit to really bring her down. She's not made to withstand much in the way of direct blows so it would take a lucky shot ( lucky in the sense of one being fast enough to see where she's coming from and swing in her direction faster than she can react ) and she would be virtually immobilized. Not to say her stubborn attitude wouldn't force her to keep at it even if the outcome was clearly grim.
She's known to charge into conflict without backup and face down rivals that carry odds against her on the field. This has never stopped her before and it has resulted with her in the medical bay more times than she really wishes to count. One day it'll probably be the end of her, but until then she'll just be a thorn in Optimus's side in regards to the lack of 'self preservation' and partnering up or waiting for backup. Much of this hesitation revolves around her being haunted by the trauma of the death of her partner. Though she has made a prominent namesake for herself that brings Decepticons to cursing when she's even made mention, she still can't bring herself to putting the guilt aside and from time to time it leaves her in an emotionally weakened state. Arcee is in constant conflict about her value to the team and just what she has to offer them, making her easily swayed into doubt. These are the moments when she tends to wander off on her own to recover in silence and try to piece herself back together.
Abilities:
- Master of stealth with the capability to not only be almost entirely silent in movement, but also able to creep through even the smallest of spaces where most others cannot gain access
- Expertly trained in melee combat, which can either mean the use of her own weapons or outside weaponry that suit her needs
- Able to remain calm and collected in even the most dire of situations, even in the face of deactivation
- Her lightweight construction allows her to almost appear to defy the laws of gravity through unheard of parkour acrobatics and movements
- While not an expert by any stretch, Arcee is able to hack and can bypass some security measures to gain access to communication signals
Weaponry:
- Short-range blasters that form in place of her servos.
- Forearm blades that are hidden beneath the panels there. They fold out and lock into place, extending from her wrist to just beyond her elbow. These are her main source of melee combat.
History:
Prior to the war, Arcee was part of the an Enforcement unit on Cybertron that patrolled the busy streets of Iacon. Arcee always had one audial open and was in a constant state of curiosity, so she was fully aware of the struggle of power between two opposing views on how to handle the issue with the corrupt caste system. Once the conflicts became much more commonplace as time went on it was difficult to remain neutral even though they had all been instructed do to so. Any attempts of that eventually failed once the cities began to fall and, much to her disgust, many chose the opposite path as she.
From the moment the Great War began, Arcee partook as a member of the Autobots under leadership of Optimus Prime. She was partnered with Tailgate for missions that took her outside of the base, something she was used to since Enforcement units rarely operated single handed. Arcee already had a clear and vocal distaste for the Decepticons from the very beginning and those feelings were only made worse by his death at the hands of one after their capture and failed attempt to be interrogated. The feeling of sheer helplessness was one that would forever be a sore spot for the two wheeler and an evident source of internal conflict that she battled alone.
Refusing to allow herself to be placed in that helpless situation again, Arcee dedicated herself not only the Autobot faction and their cause, but to growing her own skill set so that her size would not be anything more than a way to make her other strengths grossly underestimated by her opponents on the field.
Roleplay/Writing Sample:
There was a heavy thud as a fisted servo slammed into the doorframe she was passing through. That meeting had gone even less well than she had expected it to. She'd done her best not to roll her optics roll as she was scolded for- yet again- going headfirst into the previous mission without backup. She'd done well, completely it without complication, and still they had something to complain about. She had her new orders though they had not come without an attachment... literally.
A partner? A partner. Were they serious? No, she wouldn't accept this! They knew that she worked alone. That was how she preferred to do things and how she fully intended on continuing even in spite of the orders from the higher ups that instructed otherwise. They could give her commands, tell her where to go and what to do all they wanted and she would usually do so without question but THIS? No, this wasn't going to slide. That had manged to build up a level of irritation that stayed in check while she was in the presence of her direct superior, though, now clear of his sight she had let it out, which had caused her to hit the doorframe on her way through the final walkway before entering the long corridor. She didn't look at the others that she passed who had turned to see the source of the sound and just made her way through with her optics locked in a glare straight ahead.
Arcee would have it her way. That order would be the one that she would bend. The fool thought he was doing her some sort of good to keep her out of possible dismantling at the servos of the enemy, but he was causing her much more aggravation by doing so.
'Forget it. I work alone. He can't make me work alongside someone,' she thought to herself as she made her way to the secured entrance of the base and transformed, speeding off on her two wheels in the direction of where she was supposed to rendezvous with her 'new partner'. Only she didn't intend on working with them, even if she would probably run into them since it was the same location where the signal of a possible Decepticon stronghold was sourced from. She'd ignore them, go on about her business, and hopefully shun away the suggested partner enough that he would just change his mind and back off.
If they didn't turn away and leave her to her own? She had no issue with telling them where to go and what to do with the orders.

There's also some sass hidden in there, so watch when that comes out or else it'll catch you completely off-guard.
The Fierce Warrior
There is no denial of Arcee's faction choice. She's as loyal and true to the Autobot cause as they come and it has very little to do with her previous job prior to the war as an Enforcer. Keeping her allies and leader safe at the the top of her list of priorities with no price too much for her to pay- even at the cost of her own spark. There's only one Decepticon that Arcee truly fears, though it is skillfully hidden behind a mask of unbridled hatred and desire to tear her spark out and watch it extinguish in her very grasp.Wound Too Tight
The loyalty to the Autobots is only rivaled in intensity to the hatred of the Decepticons, sometimes even threatening to overlap the former. Some say its probably even woven into her very core, which would not be far from the truth. No matter the situation at hand, she tends to have quite brutal contact with all Decepticons she may cross paths with. For this reason, Optimus and her team are more than a bit weary about leaving her alone with prisoners. It's clear that it's only a matter of time before this spring is coiled too tight and something snaps. The Lone Wolf
'The cursed Bot' is something she's heard whispered behind her in passing from fellow Autobots and she's learned to just ignore it. Arcee works better alone- a philosophy that others have tried to break her of but to very little avail. After the death of her previous partner who she allowed herself to get far closer to than intended, it left her with an even darker opinion of the Decepticons that she's hardly afraid to admit, as well as haunting nightmares and pestering doubts that she's not as quick to reveal. No Spark On Her Sleeve
While Arcee has the most rugged exterior and almost dismissive attitude towards those around her, it's all pretty much a front. It's a her own special way of keeping those she really cares about safe, since she is still in denial of whether or not she can truly protect them if it came down to it. The failure to do so with her previous partner weights heavily on her, so she'd rather keep the more sensitive feelings secret so they can't be used against her.Strengths + Weaknesses:
Whether it's sneaking around in the dark, crawling through spaces most others can't access or just being a general pain in the aft, Arcee can be pretty useful; even if it's through reputation alone. At least she doesn't throw in the towel, even when she probably should.
The Melee Stealth Machine
Arcee's combat strength is built primarily around her mastery in melee combat. Part of this is carried over from her training as part of the Enforcement unit, being that most had some sort of formal training in this manner as a way to apprehend less than agreeable suspects. The rest of it is just centuries of conditioning, honing in on what she knows and using it to the best of her ability through countless hours of self training. While it is easy for the speedy gal to get up close and personal to show off said skills, it is not always the ideal spot to be in.Being reliant to getting in close enough to an enemy when your frame is at risk of being turned into a crushed tin can can be the ingredients for disaster. Which is a good thing that Arcee is usually fully aware of what she's facing and has her optics on everything at once since being at least one step ahead and quick to on her pedes is key to her ultimate survival. Catch Me If You Can
Being small does have its advantages. Acree's lightweight frame makes her both nimble and agile enough to weave her way through some of the tightest of impasses. When coupled with speed that could leave even a hot rod sports car left in her dust, it makes for a very annoying combination for any Decepticon who is trying to track her... as well as any Autobot trying to keep up. Exposed joints and convenient location of various pieces of her alt mode make for a speedy transformation in and out of either mode faster than the optic can process, which means that she's perfect for blitz attacks at close range.
I Go It Alone
While personalities may sometimes be both a strength and a weakness, for Arcee it leans more towards the latter. Working alone at least means she doesn't have to be looking over her shoulder to make sure that a partner isn't slowing her down or making themselves part of the issue she's trying to avoid. While being the 'Lone Wolf' of the group has advantages, it means that there's no one to watch her back except herself.
