Player Alias: Meezer
Character Name: Knock Out
Allegiance: Decepticon
Appearance Description: In his altmode, Knock Out is a candy-red Aston Martin DB-5 with storm-blue, grey, and gold custom pain application along the doors that make up his forearms, as well as sections that make up his lower torso. He has gold-rimmed "steel belted radial tires". In mech form, he is rather on the small side, only about 21 feet tall. His upper torso is broad and wide, tapering to a more narrow and feminine waist, and lovely long legs that have the lovely candy red lower legs with wheels at the heels and dainty, pointy peds. His hands bear dainty clawed fingers. The most attractive part of him, however, is that well-angled face and the well angled helm with the sharp crest, and those lovely crimson eyes. All in all, he's a good looking piece of machinery.
Personality: Vanity, thy name is Knock Out. He is who he is and he owns his own look, owns his own brilliant mind, and owns his many exceptional talents. He's quite ostentatious and showy in his mannerisms, enjoying all the attention he gets from it. But he's more than just an enthusiast of his own good looks. As Knock Out often says--he's not only an automobile, he's also an automobile enthusiast. He's keen to wolf-whistle at your "sweet rims" or your glorious paint job. Behind the good looks and the flirty exterior is a cold, cool, calculating mind; he's always finding new ways to use his skills both in the med-bay and on the battlefield. He also tends to play well with...most of his comrades. But he teams best with someone he's known for quite a while. Unlike most of his fellow Decepticons, Knock Out is quite fond of Earth's culture. Whether he's quoting TV Tropes or referencing the latest television shows, or referencing the old human horror films at drive-in theatres, one thing is certain: he's not ashamed of his love of Earth.
On the counterpoint, he is known to be quite temperamental. Scratching his paint job, insulting his skills, or harming those he values highly are great ways to get on his bad side and end up with his more vindictive bedside manner showing. Or his more vindictive manner in general. Though rare, it is not something one wants to activate within Knock Out. In addition, when he is in a foul mood, he becomes extremely unsociable and it is not advised to even attempt socialization with him, for fear that he is likely to, as it is often colloquially stated, "bite your head off" in the metaphorical sense.
Strengths + Weaknesses:
+ Knock Out, despite his looks, has quite a sharp mind. Socially and academically, he is quite observant. He also has a great compendium of knowledge of Cybertronian Biology and how to exploit it.
+ Knock Out has great knowledge of mending mecha--when he wants to. It's not that he's necessarily cruel. It's just that he's gotta be in the right frame of mind.
+ Knock Out has incredibly keen optics. He tends to be able to notice things quite well, whether it's a nice paint job or that something is amiss.
- Because Knock Out chose to pursue the flashy world of academics, he lacks battle experience. Strategy tends to be a stronger suit for him than the actual putting into practice of strategy.
- While talented in medicine, Knock Out prefers "breaking 'em to fixing 'em." It's just how he's hard-wired. Decepticons tend to work that way.
- Optical disruptions leave him at a distinct disadvantage--especially if it's being sprayed with pepper spray because Primus, that stuff burns!
Abilities: Knock Out's greatest proficiency lies in his knowledge of Cybertronian biology due to what little medical training he has had. In addition to that, he's quite skilled with the use of tools and weapons, using them for both assembly and disassembling other mecha. In addition, he tends to be one of the more socially-competent Decepticons, able to socialize with just about anyone and negotiate.
Weaponry: Knock Out possesses an external weapon in the form of his energon shock prod. Built into him are a buzzsaw and a drill--both medical tools, but tools he finds it easier to weaponize at times.
History: Before the war, Knock Out wasa cheeky seeker only STARTING to do his medical studies under a brilliant older medic. However, when war broke out, the Decepticons came calling in search of a medic, and Knock Out wasn't about to mention that he wasn't completely certified yet. He had done enough studies to be able to be a medic but he was the equivalent of a resident student.
And that was when he was called to check energon deposits and bring them to the Decepticons. Of course, he would be the one to raid Velocitron's energon supply before leaving, but he would make sure that he brought it straight to the Decepticons.
He would soon find himself sent to Earth--where he would be called upon to mend Megatron, fight Autobots, and look pretty while doing it.
Roleplay/Writing Sample:
"Well, Lord Megatron, I am not entirely sure what I acquired just yet. It's fancy enough but...I'm completely unsure of what it is." He fiddled in his servos with the golden, branched object he held.
When several shots came his way from many of his comrades, a few jealous, and one very harsh Megatron, he yelped, holding it up. He had been anticipating impact, but a hum came from the device and the pings of several shots striking a seemingly glimmerous barrier greeted him. He gave a deadpan look to his comrades, his tire-wings twitching ever so lightly.
"REALLY NOW? Was that any way to test that? At least warn me next time. And if any of you try to fire another shot, you're cleaning up whatever I next leak on the floor, and you're dealing with my berthside manner being vindictive the next time you get injured. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a med-bay to go back to and clean myself up after that."
It appeared that Knock Out was in a bad mood, his crimson optics focusing on every bot in the room. Yeah, sometimes you really didn't want to enrage the medic. After all, he was in charge of others' health, and it wasn't recommended to try the vindictive berthside manner.
