Player Alias: LianaWalter
Character Name: Blizzard
Allegiance: Autobot
Appearance Description: Blizzard is a soft seafoam colored femme with gold optics. She's of average height, usually being able to meet the optics of most standard sized mechs with only the slightest shift of her gaze upwards. Her chassis is narrow and compact, leading into an equally small built waist. She has long limbs to make up for this, and her frame is only layered with light armor. Her helm has a full face visor that can be lifted or lowered depending on what she does. This glows green when its active and gray when its inactive on top of her helm. The places where her base form shows through are a light gray. This includes her hands, waist, and the joints of her legs and arms as well as her face. Her head is framed by a helmet like guard that holds the visor in place when its not in use. Her Autobot sigil doesn't show in this form.
She also has a set of dual doorwings, one set at the shoulders and the other connected at the base of the first slanted downwards in a similar configuration to the Earth insect known as a dragonfly.
Her alternate form is a 2015 Lexus RC. In this mode her Autobot sigil is on the steering wheel of the car. [Altmode]
Personality: Calm and gentle, Blizzard has the disposition best suited to dealing with carriers and young Cybertronians. She's flexible and patient, willing to alternatively have her patients come to her office and go to them in their homes, depending on how paranoid the carrier is being and how dangerous the carrying period has gone thus far.
She's loyal to a fault and believes that kindness will win over even the most stubborn of sparklings. This belief doesn't extend to the adults around her, though she does her best to provide them with the benefit of the doubt.
Blizzard doesn't care for battle, however she is a trained sniper and spy. She would prefer not to fight, but will defend herself and anyone else she is near if it comes down to it.
She has no tolerance for stupidity, and will weld unruly mechs and femmes to whatever solid surface she can find in order to keep them from bothering her any further. Those small enough, and obnoxious enough, will get their hands and pedes welded to their afts and then welded a second time to a ceiling fan.
Strengths + Weaknesses: Blizzard does best around carriers and young Cybertronians, providing them with the best care she can manage. However, around adults its harder for her to maintain a professional calm, sometimes to the point that she has to send them to another medic before she hurts them. She hates the war and the death and destruction it has caused, and is not suited for battle. Blizzard is willing to go to great lengths to save those she's loyal to, even going out in the middle of a firefight to rescue someone stranded on the wrong side of the battle. This has gotten her damaged many times since the war began.
Abilities: Blizzard is a fully trained medic, whose skills lean towards carriers, and the young of her kind. She is also an expert in spark based surgery since that can oftentimes come up during the carrying process should a carrier abort halfway through the carrying period. Her doorwings give her a large range for communications, though most often these are used to relay anything she gets further afield. Any message relayed through her doorwings becomes encoded, though she's not entirely certain why that is.
Weaponry: A wide array of field gear hidden within the panels of her forearms, a long range sniper rifle that can be broken down and stored, and a rotary saw that she uses for both medical and defense purposes.
History: Blizzard is old. Her spark came from the Well of All-Sparks. Her earliest memories are of life in Crystal City during the rise of the Golden Age. She was the pampered Consort of a noble lord, meant to become his mate at some point that never came as he was killed by a rival before the bonding took place, granting her his noble seat since no one but they had known they weren't mated yet. She was mild mannered and graceful, and no one thought of her as much of a political threat.
For many years she lived the life of a noble, attending artisic functions all over the city and travelling the planet as the mood struck her. And then she found herself stranded in a poor district in Iacon City, witnessed the struggle of the young and their creators. This changed the course of her life. She chose the life of a medic at that time, and used the resources available to her to attend the best medical acadamy on Cybertron. She specialized in carriers and the young, and when she finished her apprenticeship moved to Iacon in order to help those she'd seen in her trip before.
Eventually Blizzard purchased a large parcel of land and invited all the underpriveledged to come live there where she would provide for them. She dubbed the place a protected 'Youth Sector' and pulled all her resources into making it safe and as up to date in available care and education as she could.
And then war broke out over Cybertron. At first this femme tried to remain out of it, even going so far as to have large shield emittors installed all over her Youth Sector to protect the residents. Eventually, when the Decepticons made it to Crystal City, even that couldn't protect the little ones she'd devoted her life to taking care of. The district went up in flames, and the medic fled.
The only consolation to her broken spark was that she'd been able to save one tiny sparkling, the last survivor of what had been a thriving community of the young and their creators. Halfway to Iacon, and thus to safety, Blizzard ran into a mercanary group known as the Wreckers. From them she got directions to her destination and kept going. It took a long time to reach the city as she was on foot and having to scrounge for energon that was suitable for a very young sparkling, but she eventually made it.
She chose to serve Optimus Prime, only letting any of the Autobots know that she was medic trained and could help. She ended up raising the sparkling herself until he was old enough to be on his own. Several times, since the beginning of the war, Blizzard has been forced to fight, even going so far as to put herself recklessly into danger in order to rescue an injured comrade from the battle itself.
She stayed behind on Cybertron as long as she could when Optimus and the Autobots left the planet, but eventually followed to Earth.
