By Grimlock’s sudden stopping and expression the shock in his words that said expression reflected obviously he had said something the Dinobot did not seem to expect. But Skystalker knew he had been created for the sole purpose of destruction and hunting. “Fun” could not be in his vocabulary and honestly it hadn’t for the whole time he had been online. Then again, it seemed Grimlock could not clearly define what this fun was himself, causing Skystaller to look at him with a tilted head and curious expression.
Movies? Making things? He had heard of those but had not found what the appeal of such things were. They both seemed extremely boring and unnnecesary concepts that were distractions for the mind more than really reaching anything useful. But, Grimlock has proven himself to be excellent company and hadn’t steered him wrong so far. Perhaps Skystalker himself was just overthinking things rather than letting himself relax and allowing new experiences to come his way.
“What fun is it to punch things before you can freeze it solid?” Skystalker with a toothy grin, showing his sharpened denta. “But alright Grimlock, I’ll bite. Show me how to have fun, teacher.” He said with a smile, hoping he wasn’t biting off more than he was ready to actually learn for such an abstract thing.

Grimlock would have been so sad if Skystalker didn't learn how to have fun after this encounter, but teaching him what 'fun' was wasn't going to be easy either. It was just something that he knew. A concept. All he could really do is show him all the fun things he knew, and then hope that the Predacon caught on.
"You can freeze things?!" At this Grimlock was curious, wanting to know more. "You gotta show me how you do that. I wanna see~. And then we can have all the fun in the world. All the stuff I got to show ya is at the base."
The Dinobot bounced up and down excitedly once more, wanting to see this whole freezing thing. What would it be like if he froze something and then punched it? Would it be more difficult to break? Would it hurt?

For some reason, Skystalker was finding Grimlock's excitement to be rather...contagious. He couldn't help feeling a little giddy inside to show someone what he could do, especially someone who loved to punch things. Not exactly what Skystalker liked to do entirely, but it was something. "Very well Grimlock, just be ready to punch." He said with a slight grin forming before he turned towards a tree close to them and transformed back to his dragon mode.
Spreading his feet slightly at shoulder width, Skystalker brought his head back as he concentrated the cryo energy towards his chest, which gave a bluish-white glow. When he was sure it was ready, he fired the icy colored flames to hit the tree, blasting a small chunk into the wood but moments later freezing the blasted area which spread along the middle of the trunk itself. And though unseen from the naked eye or optic, also made it rather brittle. "Punch away." Skystalker offered.

Grimlock watched as Skystalker transformed, so curious to see what was gonna happen. Was he really gonna freeze the things? He could barely contain his excitement as the dragon whipped his head back and began to glow a bit.
A silent 'ooh' formed on the Dinobot's faceplate as the ice blast froze the tree entirely, desperately trying not to scream with excitement. He'd never seen something so awesome before, and if this guy thought it could make his punches cooler, then it had to be awesome! At the other mech's words, Grimlock's excitement shifted into that of a feisty grin, swinging an arm around as to warm up a bit first.
"Alright. Let's do this!"
In the style of what could only be considered similar to a commanding falcon type character, the green mech pulled his punching arm back before slamming it right into the frozen wood with brute strength. As it shattered around him, he could only grin. "So cool!!"

Skystalker watched Grimlock as he prepared his punch, fascinated with how much fun Grimlock seemed to be having. All he did was offer to possibly make his punches even more effective, and now he seemed to be acting like a sparkling preparing to get his favorite treat.
When the Dinobot smashed clear through the frozen tree however, Skystalker turned his head away from the icy splinters, some making small "plink" sounds as they bounced off his armor. Well, Skystalker knew better than to ever get on Grimlock's bad side. "Remind me to never make you mad Grimlock." Skystalker chuckled, actually giving the Dinobot an excited grin. Perhaps learning a thing or two from Grimlock would be worth it after all.
"Now that you've seen that, on with our lessons of fun." Skystalker nodded towards the direction Grimlock had been leading them, the scrapyard as it were. As eager as he was to continue showing Grimlock his capabilities he was also eager to see a much different side to life. One that did not require having to constantly worry about fighting an revenge as he had been for a while now.

If there was anything to ever know about Grimlock, it was that he was easily excitable, but not just because he was having fun.. but because he loved a good fight, too. He always had an itch for one, and punching a frozen tree definitely helped scratch that itch.
...For now.
"Don't worry. Not all that easy to make me mad." The Dinobot stopped to think. "Well.. there always is being mean or hurting my friends or.. Okay, maybe a few things make me mad." He chuckled back in return, though there was some embarrassment to that laugh. Here he was making a new friend and he was getting all awkward dino on them.
"Yeah! Onto the fun!" The green one resumed leading the way back to base as his little tune filled the air once more. Once they were back up that cliffside it wouldn't take terribly long to get back to the base. "Ok, so.. the base kiiiinda looks like a mess, but that's kinda the human's thing. Says it's some sorta vintage.. salvage depot for.. nose.. nosta? Somethin' like that! Everyone calls it a scrapyard, but whatever floats his boat I guess."
