Player Alias: Thundercat
Character Name: Forth (RID Mini-con)
Allegiance: Decepticons
Appearance Description:
What someone will notice about Forth is that he is a quadrapedal dragon-like Mini-con, being no higher than six and a half feet or roughly the size of an average human man with his head raised. Length wise from head to tail, he has measured eight feet.In appearance, he resembles many of his Predacon brethren but much smaller with a bulky, thick stature, especially in the chest and lower legs, circular head with a fanned-out head crest which also comes down to frame his face, and overlapping plates on his hind quarters down to his tail tip. His neck, mid-section, and lower tail are segmented for flexibility while he has two clawed pedes, his front ones being slightly larger than his back.
But, Forth is not only unique in terms of being a Mini-con Predacon but also something of a triple changer. Though his main mode is his dragon mode, his secondary mode is a metal sphere that remains the same height as dragon form with a capability to fit into the armor of some larger Transformers. In both modes, his coloration is a regular blue with navy blue accents and light gray areas, glowing yellow optics and bio-lights, his claws are black, and he has small red dots on the side of his shoulders, chin, top of his feet, and red circle on his chest baring the Decepticon insignia.
Then, Forth also has an actual robot mode, but this is rarely used or seen. His lower half remains as it is, with his legs shifting slightly to allow him to walk upright and his mid-section shifting to allow him to stand straight. His mace ended tail disconnects to coil around his hips while his upper portion goes through most of the change. From the second crests down, this part of his head separates and comes to cover part of his chest plate while the split in the head area still reveals the red circle and revealing a more Cybertronian face but feral and retaining his glowing yellow optics. His head is more square in this with his top most crest remaining and his front claws retract into his arm to reveal hands with three sharp tipped fingers and thumb. Height wise, he stands at eight feet.
Personality: Forth could easily be described as your average teenager by Cybertronian standards. He is not quite yet finished growing Spark wise, still very much being a troublemaking prankster and somewhat childish in nature. He isn’t always taking life seriously, much less his duties for the Decepticons, and likes to play games on his fellow Decepticons. Thievery, vandalism, scaring someone half to death…all of these are something that are up Forth’s alley and that he views as amusing, or just playing annoying someone or messing around are all something he takes pleasure in.
Though, that’s not to say that Forth shows something of a mature side as well. In fact, he is actually quite intelligence and attentive, often assessing the things going on around him and being more than ready to do his part. Forth is as much a planner as he is a prankster, being capable of being rather resourceful and quick witted. What’s more, the little dragon Mini-con is rather stubborn and hard-headed, which means he is willing to go above and beyond what might be asked of him but he knows when there are times retreating is necessary.
Forth is something of a mech who has room to grow. He is young and finding his identity, being rambunctious, competitive, and a little snarky while also being focused, loyal, and driven in his actions. He is a young Predacon packed with a feral ferocity and hunger for destruction and mayhem as most of his kind while being undisciplined but teachable. What Forth really needs is a proper mentor or teacher to shape this little mini-con into a capable asset and perhaps a larger Cybertronian partner to help focus his attention.
Strengths:
Small Stature: As a mini-con, Forth is far smaller than the average Cybertronian, especially for a Predacon and smaller than a mini-bot. This allows him to get into places others cannot while also enabling him to outmaneuver most larger Cybertronians, especially bulky opponents. This also gives him the advantage of being able to make an easier strike for the more unprotected parts of a Cybertronian, save for other fellow Minis.
Durability/Strength: Even for a Mini-con, Forth’s thicker frame makes him exceptionally durable and to take far more punishment. He is capable of taking quite a bit of punishment but still keep fighting or getting back up, probably with additional aid to the Predacon’s legendary strong armor. But his thick frame also makes him stronger, his armor reinforced to handle weight roughly 700-800 lbs where most Mini-cons can only handle a little bit of weight. His armor is also known to be thick enough to put a dent in Cybertronian armor or a ship’s walls.
Agile: with a smaller stature, Forth is also quite agile in his dragon form and robot mode. Though not utterly acrobatic, he is more than capable of handling up-close encounters and dodging far off attacks quite fluently and making use of his environment to his advantage.
Tracking: Like many Predacons and animal-based Transformers, Forth has exceptionally strong olfactory sensors that enable him to track certain scents either by the smell of oil or energon, piece of armor, or some kind of item associated with a Cybertronian. This sense of smell is acute enough he can decipher that particular scent above others and track it for some time so long as it's no older than three or four days old.
Sabotage: Forth has worked with and trained under Decepticon criminals who favor in stealing, cheating, and vandalizing where being underhanded and rigging became a way of life. As a result, he has learned to be able to be rather subtle in doing what he can to destroy, damage, obstruct, or tamper with something when necessary.
Symbiotic Relationship: As a Cyclone type Mini-con, Forth can form a partnership with a much larger Transformer, regardless if their side. When in his spherical or ball shaped alternate form, Forth can attach to a space in the arm and be deployed at any point in time in which he can act as a kind of projectile before transforming. Or, he can stay in dragon or robot mode and tags along with this partner, usually acting as a secondary partner.
Weaknesses:
Small Size: Despite his small size being advantage, it can also be something of a disadvantage. Forth is not nearly as strong as larger Transformers who can easily overpower him and at times outmaneuver him. In fact, he will put a heavy reliance on his durability to protect him but is far from being invincible.
Some reliance on Larger Cybertronians: In relation to his size and the above concern, Forth will have some reliance on larger Cybertronians. To make full use of his alternate forms he needs a larger partner, someone willing to use the sphere form he has and for protection reasons. His weapons also tend to do little damage on their own unless he can go for a weak spot on a Cybertronian, which calls for a larger partner who can either weaken an armor area or serve as a distraction while Forth can go in for a surprise attack.
Form Favoritism: Forth may be unique in having three forms but he tends to fall into favoring one over the other, most especially his dragon form. This form allows him to move quicker on all fours and he feels more at home in using it to fight and maneuver in battle.Where as his sphere form makes greater use of his thick armor and allows him to become a weapon. It is rare for Forth to make use of his robot mode in combat, preferring to use it only from time to time or when outside of battle.
Feralness: As a Predacon, Forth does suffer from some habit of falling into a feral state. When angered or upset, he will fall into this state in relying on feral instinct and wrath to attack any and all around him in a blind state. Though he doesn't cause too much damage, in this state he can be relentless and unyielding, ignoring damage that may be inflicted and becoming a little menace. When it passes, Forth is left utterly exhausted and may become vulnerable.
No Proper Fighting Technique: Forth's fighting style is random. He has no real method of attack or style of attack he uses or favors. In fact, his only real strategy is to work along with a partner and to either overwhelm an enemy or surprise them or he aims for attacking the weaker parts in armor such as joints. This puts him at something of a disadvantage with those who have some knowledge of combat who can easily fend themselves against him.
Magnetic Repulsion: Forth's ability to use magnetic repulsion is useful but comes with limitations. For one, he cannot lift something weighing the size of a bus or larger Cybertronians, such as Megatron, Bumblebee, or Grimlock. And the items he magnetizes must be metal or have metal alloys in them. Lastly, Forth can only push items back or simply repel them but nothing more.
Abilities:
Magnetic Repulsion: Forth has the outlier ability to create a magnetic wave that repels metal objects away from him, or he can hurl objects towards someone. This is accomplished by creating red energy rings that form a magnetic field around those objects or controlling an existing magnetic field to force it back or manipulate that field to be throw an object or person away. His limitations fall into iron, nickel, cobalt and their different alloys, Cybertronian metal, and some naturally-occurring metals such as chromite, Ilmenite, magnetite, and others. This is projected in a breath attack from his dragon form and can be concentrated through his hands in robot mode.
Heightened Smell: Like most Predacons, Forth is equipped with highly sensitive olfactory sensors that are meant to lock in a scent and allow him to follow it so long as it is not faded after three to four days. This allows him to decipher one smell above others and narrow down exactly where his target could potentially be heading.
Weaponry:
Energy Turret: Forth has a basic distance weapon that fires energy blasts that are strong enough to leave scorch marks on a Cybertronian or to force them back for cover. These energy blasts can be fired in rapid succession with the weapon being able to be deployed while Forth is in his Cyclone form and is mounted on his shoulder in robot mode.
Claws/Fangs: In his dragon mode, Forth has sharp claws and teeth that he can use as melee weapons when in combat. These can scratch and dig into metal, causing mainly a sharp, burning sensation in thicker armor bots and slight pain in lighter armored ones. But they are sharp enough to cut through wiring, cables, and energon lines.
Mace Tail: One other weapon Forth has is his tail. The end of his tail is oval shaped, black, and has sharp spikes, angled sharply upward away from his body. These spikes are sharp and can scratch and tear up armor, more so than his fangs or claws together. When in dragon form, he can whip his tail to lash at an opponent or when in robot mode removes it from his hips to which it can be straightened or remain flexible to get a similar result, only being hand-held.
Cyclone Mode: Forth's cyclone mode could also classify as a weapon itself. In this form, he can be launched from a larger Cybertronian's form or thrown, his form literally becoming a projectile that can bash and slam into opponents with great force. With his thick armor, it's usually not very pleasant.
History: Forth came into existence like many Predacons, through the experiments conducted by Shockwave with Predacon CNA discovered from Cybertron's ancient past. But Forth was one exception with having his CNA spliced with that of another unfortunate bot. This resulted in his much smaller size and much different state of mind than most of his brethren, his mind being more of a young adolescent.
Due to this, Forth was seen as unfit to fulfill the original plans for the Predacons and was instead put among the Decepticon ranks for other purposes. It didn't take him long to fall under the type of Decepticons who cared more for their own gain more than the real cause. Some of his time was spent in the Cybertronian criminal underworld in the earlier parts of the war and continued for many years, in which Forth was partnered with a handful of Decepticon criminals and learned the tricks of the trade as it were.
But eventually, Forth was arrested along with a handful of other Decepticons and was placed in stasis on the prison ship the Alchemor where he would remain for sometime. That is, until its unexpected crash on Earth. When the ship crashed, Forth's stasis cell malfunctioned and allowed the Mini-Pred to awaken from his stasis, forcing himself free from the cell at last. Though surprised by his surroundings, it didn't take long for the little dragon-like Cybertronian to begin looking to finding his next target to terrorize and found it in the Crown City Shipyards. With more than enough places to slink around and metal to manipulate, the young Cybertronian has found himself quite at home in causing "mysterious" things to happen and make the shipyard appear to be haunted to the humans.
This has been in the past month or so that Forth has been doing this, occasionally waiting for night time to fall to cause a bit of mayhem and has made some treks into the city. But his activities may not go unnoticed for long.
