With a lonesome sigh, Raf sent his usual daily text to Bumblebee, and then hopefully waited for a reply. And, as usual, no reply came. He hadn’t had a reply from his best friend in weeks, not since he’d left to lead a team of Autobots in Crown City… but it still stung that Bee had left without even saying goodbye.
Raf was a quiet boy by nature, but had become even more so in Bee’s absence. He’d become much more focused on his schoolwork and projects (purely because he needed something to do to distract himself). He also was tired - poor Raf had begun to have incredibly unsettling, violent nightmares about an evil doppelganger of himself, resulting in deep bags beneath his eyes and a perpetual need for a nap. He couldn’t do much about the nightmares, so he focused on his projects. He moped, and went unnoticed, and tapped away on his laptop
He missed Bee.

Tap, tap tap. The noise had broken Pharma out of his seemingly dulled frame of mind. Digits flexed and he drew deep vents. Ratchet. He was worried about Ratchet. Even his colors seemed a bit duller--partly from his bare minimum of refueling. Who could refuel when you were constantly anxious, worried, afraid your ex-captors were doing something to your student, your protege!
But seeing someone so small, so quiet, so sad seemed to put his own sadness into perspective. Here he was, feeling sorry for himself over his own failures, and there was a human here.
"H...hello." His voice was quiet, almost unnoticible except in the silence of the room. Sad blue optics cast a gentle gaze over Raf.

Raf wasn't the only one missing Bumblebee these days. Sari Sumdac had been as well.
She was becoming good friends with Bee over at the Crown City base, but he was always so busy now. So busy that.. it was sometimes like he wasn't even there at all. Not that she could fault him; He was the leader of an all-important team. Sure there were the others, but she got along with Bumblebee best. Something just felt so familiar about him, and she never got that feeling with the other's at the base.
It was a similarity she also felt when she had once ventured to the Autobot Base in Jasper. The thought of the other base perked the teenager back up a little bit. Maybe she could go back there and get to know the others better~!
But how the heck did she even operate the groundbridge that first time? Sari honestly didn't know. It just sorta happened after playing around with it and she'd gotten lucky, but would that luck end in her favor a second time? She went to the console, pressing buttons until she found herself in the zone, just typing away at the thing as if her fingers were just doing the work for her.. as if they already knew what to do. The portal opened and the girl went straight on through.
As she walked into the Jasper base, she spotted a Cybertronian as well as another human. With a smile, she waved to the both of them. "Hi~!"
