Deadlock wasn't precisely fond of the cold. This was especially true now. After crash landing on this awful planet, all he'd experienced was cold, snow, and more cold. There were no signs of life aside from the strange organic flora found in this area. They were all barren, and he was surprised the things weren't completely iced over.
Internally, his HUD was repeatedly warning him of the freezing conditions. His heating systems were trying their best to keep up, but it was becoming a useless fight. The moment he had landed, he had sent a distress signal out, hoping for a swift response.

Even though Breakdown was used to the Earth by now, there were some things that still got to him: the cold, Knock Out's mood swings, and distress signals. Today had been a day for all three. It hadn't taken long to intercept the distress signal; Breakdown had gotten to the console before anyone else on the virtue of having stormed out of the med-bay after an argument with Knock Out.
Now the cold. That was something different. Mind you, he'd been to energon mines in the coldest areas of Earth. But this was a new sort of cold. Organic flora flourishing in the icy wasteland. Hell, he was a little wary of being anywhere near the place where he swore he'd lost his optic for that matter--not that he could remember where but it was in a region connected to this region, he was sure.
"Heh, what're you doing out here in the freeze?"
A sarcastic edge tinged his voice roughly. He didn't realize he sounded so acrimonious after a fight with Knock Out. But that was how things had to be sometimes. That was how it had to be.
