Shane looked around - impressed, and partially wondering if Grimlock was there too. He crossed his arms as he thought about his options now. There was always the chance if he even stayed here that he'd end up in a bad situation. What if he knew no one there? What would happen then? He didn't want to even think about what would happen then.

That again went to option number two. Which was sticking with Override. And in the end both options weren't inately terrible, but something about this place was off. And that's when he started to wonder just where this base was... "Where is this base located?"

Time to see of Override remembered her Earth history, not that Shane was capable of fact checking her accuracy. She locked her wheels in place and walked back over to the boy, "Right under Crown City, if I'm not mistaken. Wasn't always here though... the Autobots had to get it running again after a ship full of Decepticons crashed nearby. They're the bad ones, by the way."

Ah alright, he’d finally relaxed a bit. As long as they weren’t anywhere that could lead him into trouble. Shane sighed, plopping himself down on a couch he looked at Override. “Well I mean it’s not bad, but won’t the others have something to say about it you know?0

At least he was finally warming up to the idea by now. Override let a hand rest on her hip, "Not as long as I'm here, they won't; just leave it all to me."

Shane gave a sigh of relief. At the very least he’d be able to have somewhere that didn’t suck as a pseudo-home. He put his hands together slowly and leaned forward on the couch. Chewing his lip slowly. He looked up at the femme quietly. “I uh, I’m not sure that thank you would begin to cover it well enough.” He admitted.

Override smiled brightly back at Shane, pleased that he liked it here. They were both still guests, but there was always her diplomatic immunity to fall back on. Overall though, the Velocitronian felt like she had done the right thing.

“Well then, thanks.” Shane replied, setting his bag back down next to him. He wasn’t sure how well he’d do here but at the moment it was somewhere warm and safe to stay. And there was no way that anyone would find him here either. “I mean you really didn’t have to do anything. So it was nice of you to do it. And we should uh... definitely hang out again.”

"Don't mention it," she said with a wink. "And of course we'll hang out more! You've still got to show me around Earth, remember?"

Shane smirked, he guessed he could do that - though he wasn’t sure how good a guide he’d be he definitely didn’t want to do not keep up his end of the bargain. “Oh yeah, for sure. Whenever you need me I’ll be right here.” He added.
